After a week of not hearing from him I messaged him and kindly asked that he submit his bid so I could consider him for the job. His wife responded by saying we don't know what we are getting into. They seem very defensive. It is normal and recommended practice for you to get multiple bids on your work, they seemed offended by it. I responded that I meant no offense and never heard back. They are unprofessional. If you search for the reviews marked as "useful" on yelp, you'll see they all say they are incredibly rude. The problem turned out to be a leaking garbage disposal, but we had him replace our angle stops as long as he was under there. Glad we did! Someone had mangled the pipe stubs coming out of the wall during a previous service. He fixed one and replaced the other. He quoted us once for replacing the garbage disposal, additionally for replacing the angle stops, and then some extra for fixing the piping. When it came time to pay the bill, he quoted us a price that was way under the total of what he had quoted us for the three separate tasks. It was so nice to have all of this taken care of at a reasonable price.

Like other septic services company they charge for the pumping and for labor if they need to dig to find the tanks. Mine were about 1.5 ft underground and they charge $90/hr I believe. Plus $350 for the pumping. They do an excellent job of explaining how all this works. They also install the risers (which I didn't know about). This company is UNPROFESSIONAL. Way overcharged. initial charge was $450 to snake my main line and…read morethen put a scope down it and he didnt even fix the clog. that cost upon shopping around should have been $150-$250 max. He then said that i had a broken backwater valve that needed to be replaced and he would have to remove my bush and not be able to use it again, dig 5 feet deep into the ground and replace the backwater valve. was going to charge me $4800 PLUS the $450 to come out and tell me what the issue is. When he snaked the main he didnt even unclog the issue. he stopped because he thought he hit the clay pipes at the property line. then he YANKED the snake all the way back up. upon using the camera to see the issue it was submerged in water still (because he didnt unclog the main). So i called other companies to come out and give me their assessments, price line, time frame to fix, etc. I settled on a young professional who used a hydrojet to flush the line fully. then he sent a camera all the way down. This time there was zero water in the main line and the camera went all the way down to the middle of the street to where the city pipe is. As it turns out, the original guy (guy i am doing this review on), when he yanked back the snake he broke the backwater valve flap off and it is gone down the sewer line. Upon inspection of the pipes now that the clog has been flushed out and the line is empty and clear, it was discovered that all of the piping is in good condition with zero issues. just that the flap to the backwater valve was broken off. i ended up using this other company who used a hydrojet to flush the pipe, a camera to confirm all is cleared and look for any issues. inspected my yards and followed my pipe lines to make sure everywhere had no leaks anywhere. Since they were here they also checked my sprinkler lines and water main and made sure they didnt have any leaks either. (i didnt even ask them to do that). total cost to fix my issue was $1200. NOT $4800 plus $450 for assessment. i would not recommend anyone to this plumber as he over charged me, clearly didnt know what he was doing, broke my valve, wanted to charge me $4800 to fix an issue that he ultimately ended up breaking, and then i still overpaid for his assessment. and he kept telling me he was "professional".
