My husband called a different plumber who was suppose to come first thing in the am and by 2:30pm no one had come and I was pissed. We have one bathroom and I am pregnant and not able to use my toilet... lucky for me my mom lives down the street but still they did not know that anyways my husband has to leave for work at 1:30. Around 2:30 pm I was so frustrated so I called Daryl's and she said someone would be here between 3-5. 3:40 pm Chris shows up and was able to unclog my toilet and let me know from his experience the brands of toilet paper that work best and the ones to avoid, which was nice to know that! I called left messages and I never got a call back when I did get a call back one message was left and I tried returning the call no response for days I was trying to give them my business as I own several properties and I tried again today and a lady picked up very rudely and stated that they've been very Busy and have a big job well they could at least leave a message if I didn't pick up and tell me that or kindly tell me we apologize for any inconvenience we are extremely busy at the moment and will not be able to service your home in the next X amount of days etc. instead it was just rudely blurred it out there. read more

I worked for them about two weeks ago. What a terrible lady that is running that business. She is running it straight into the ground I can tell. By the way she treated me and I worked for them tells me a lot of how she probably treats alot of people. But it's ok I understand she is an older lady, karma is real though. As she goes down in this industry I will be going up that's just how life is. They riped me off by paying me 15 dollers an hour. It took me 7 days to do a repipe for them close to 17 west and j 8. But it's ok like I said karma is real. They don't even provide water for their workers and that's the law! There are far better plumbing companies to hire in the AV. This guy is a joke. Hired him to unclog my toilet after my toddler threw stuff down it. Anyways he came out and used auger, flushed toilet and charged me $75. As I'm paying him he says there is no guarantee for toilets. I don't worry about it because I'm thinking it's fixed, no worries. Well it wasn't, he got it to flush but didn't really unclog it. Now I have to pay another plumber to really fix it. $75 down the drain!!! read more

Had a pressure regulating problem at my house. Daryl came out the same day that I called him to evaluate the job. I had some irregularities and problems that we discussed. They installed the pressure regulator and I also had him put a shut off valve to my house and my front and back irrigation water lines separately. They came the next morning and did an excellent job. Very hard working! Even wrapped and taped all my new lines! Very patient, kind and courteous with me, but most importantly did really good work! These guys are amazing!!! Especially Chris!! My bathtubs were clogged and my grandson was trying to help me, so i bought a snake and he accidentally dropped it down the drain!! Chris came and found that the snake was in the wrong drain anyway!! He was able to snake out the clog AND he was able to fish the snake out with a coat hanger, instead of having to dig up the clean out, which would have been real expensive!! Absolutely great. Plumber even wore mask the entire day. This shop is highly referred by local folks. Job was a little more difficult than estimated but they kept to the original price. Very ethical. Friday morning, my kitchen, bathroom, and hallway were flooded. Daryl's Plumbing was able to come out that same day and snake our main pipe. Larry and his assistant were great! Unfortunately, due to all the crazy rain we've been having, our plumbing backed up again. Larry was wonderful and came out again the following Monday. We have a leaking faucet and called for a service. We were given an appointment for between 11-1 on Friday, 2/26. I tried to call them on Friday afternoon to see if there was a problem but got a message stating that they weren't making anymore appoints for Friday, you would have to wait until Monday.Well they never showed or called & I still have a leaking faucet on 2/28. I called another plumber for a service call on Monday. So I have been saving the water and watering my plants. I have used them before with great success but I'm done with them. When you don't call a customer and let them know that a. you are running late, b. you are not coming c. have a way for the customer to contact you You have lost a customer & it's your fault. read more

She was not sure plumber could install on same day but would call me back but in the meantime we scheduled for Tuesday morning. Later Monday afternoon no call or message received. Next day Tuesday no call, no message received, no plumber. Waited till noon and called DP regarding no show! read more

I have avoided this review for months bc I don't want to be harmful to this company. BUT! We had a water heater moved and I pulled a permit for the job bc I want to sale my house some day. WELL Daryl and co ignored the permit. When I pointed it out he said, "well if this a permit job I have to do everything different to code" WHAT!!. Btw the house water was off and all the water pipes were dead and open , Then he went on the tell us that if we wanted code the water would be off for an additional 3-4 more days, blah blah blah. Well being caught completely off guard by this my hubby said just finish the job. Well now I'm sitting on an incomplete plumbing permit with the city and the underground plumbing will have to be dung back up, which means breaking through the foundation again, and inspected and redone TO CODE this time after Daryl insisted everything was to code. Im sorry if this hurt business but if you have a serious issue other than a clogged toilet do not call this guy. Now I have to pay double the cost to get the job done right. read more
