I hired Econo West to replace some parts in my heating unit while we were in the middle of a…read morekitchen renovation. Unfortunately, after the repair, one of the parts they worked on caused a significant water leak that resulted in substantial water damage to my home. To their credit, Econo West came back out and corrected the issue with the heater. The bigger problem came a few weeks later when mold began appearing in the walls affected by the water damage. I spoke directly with the owner and went back and forth with him about the situation. Rather than taking responsibility for the mold damage, I was told that I couldn't prove their leak caused it and that the mold could have already been there before the water damage occurred. The owner also wanted to speak with my contractor because he was concerned that we were trying to get an excessive amount of money out of the situation. Ultimately, I had the damaged areas repaired as part of my renovation and decided not to pursue the matter any further. Had I not been doing renovations, I might have pursued it more, but at that point, the time and stress involved simply weren't worth it to me. I'm leaving this review because I think potential customers should know about my experience. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated that Econo West returned to fix the heater issue. What disappointed me was how the resulting damage was handled afterward. When a repair causes a major water leak, I believe a company should stand behind not only the repair itself, but also reasonably address the damage that resulted from it, especially when it has the potential to cause damage to someone's health. Unfortunately, based on how my situation was handled, I would not use Econo West again. Edit: In response to the comment below, the drywall was not replaced behind the cabinets like you said. In fact, it was my contractor that completed that job. The fix you guys made stopped above the cabinet and the mold was found behind the cabinet, directly below the work completed by your team. I have pictures if you would like to see for yourself. This was all discussed previously with the owner. If what you said in your reply is in the notes, then they are falsified.

It was a very warm day (at least 100 degrees) and I wanted the fastest option because going without air conditioning in the Antelope Valley is not pleasant. I decided to have the aging system replaced entirely, and the team at Pennies got right to work. My HVAC unit was completely replaced by the end of the day. Everyone was professional and courteous. The lead technician on the installation was great at communication. The installation of this unit was much better than when we had the old unit installed ten years ago. The workmen were careful with my carpets, cleaned everything up when they were done, and did a great job installing the unit. Great service! They found some wire underground that they decided to tap into for the job and proceeded to run conduit along my wood fence (it was supposed to be along the house and NOT from underground) which was not what we had discussed as the plan for that job. I voiced my concern about how it was done and they came back out and did the job as it was originally planned to do. The whole time the job was being worked on, my windows were open and I could hear the apprentice complaining about having to dig and how the dirt was hard (I get manual labor isn't for everyone, be professional at least) but they "corrected" the work and that was the last I called on them. Fast forward a few years and we have more work being done in our yard only to discover the wire they ran underground to one of the outlets not only was bare once it was in soil (I was under the impression it was run with conduit underground), but also only buried about 4-5" deep in most places. Although Joe has always been nice when he has been here doing work, his staff comes off lazy and incompetent and the work they completed was a HUGE safety hazard we were unaware of. I don't think I'd ever hire these guys again.

We just bought our first home and it came with its share of plumbing issues. My wife called Patriot Plumbing and spoke to Larry and shared our concerns based on our home inspection. Our appointment was set up for the next day. John came out and started immediately tackling the issues. I appreciate that he explained all that needed to be done, from the process to the materials he would be using. There were several issues with our new home and a second associate showed up. Chris and John dedicated several hours to all that needed to be done in our home. The jobs were completed in one day, they were both very professional, and overall extremely reasonably priced. We had leaks under the kitchen sink, in the kitchen drain line, in one of our showers, one toilet, and one bathroom sink. We know these issues where what was wrong with our house because of the home inspection and two other plumbing companies that came out for a quote. We truly are grateful that Patriot Plumbing was not only the most reasonably priced but that they work with integrity. I would not hesitate to recommend either John or Chris or the company. There's a reason Patriot gets 5 star reviews! I have only positive remarks about the service. My 7 month old water heater went out; couldn't get the pilot to stay lit, after days troubleshooting with the manufacturer, I was referred to Patriot. Arnel arrived soon after I made the call (and in 106 degree heat) and stuck with it for some 4 hours until he found a couple serious problems as a result of installation (not installed by Patriot). Arnel was courteous, kept me informed on progress and what he was finding. He even went to Lowes to buy pipes and vent and a co-worker made a run to California City for some flex pipe. I was totally impressed, like I said, it was 106 degrees, it would have been simple to to make some excuse for not applying all the effort it took to get the heater to work. Arnel went beyond any expectation given past history with contractors; and I am totally relaxed about the proper operation of the heater; gas is a scary thing;I have all the confidence that Arnel knew what he was doing and took no shortcuts! The all around experience we had with Patriot plumbing was outstanding. Called at 8:30 in the morning they answered right away and listened to our hot water heater problem, told us what the problem was and they could have a technician come out today and look at it because everything we told them lead to one problem, but we chose to just have the whole hot water heater replaced due to the age of it. They schedule an appointment same day and called before the technician was on his way due to the travel distance. Once the technician Chris got here he was super nice " he had to answer a few calls due to him being on-call. He was very nice to the kids while he was installing the hot water heater as they kept talking to him. He got the hot water heater installed in what seemed like super fast and did an amazing job. We now have full hot water pressure and are super happy. If we have any other problems we will be calling Patriot plumbing again. We did have pay a travel fee but it was WELL worth it in the end. I called Patriot Plumbing because I heard running water in the bathroom. They promptly came out and in under 10 minutes found I had a hot water slab leak. They immediately turned off the hot water and capped preventing further damage. I am thankful for the fast thinking and immediate action John and Zo took. They talked me through everything that needed to be done and again as they went through each part of the repair. After the plumbing part was complete they explained the bill, how to file my insurance claim and what I would need as well as set me up with a dry wall person. They were always on time, courteous and left the house clean at the end of the day. Hopefully you will never experience a hot water slab leak but for any plumbing needs at all I highly recommend Patriot Plumbing. We had water intrusion into our living room and were unsure as to the source, our home water, exterior landscape irrigation or septic system. We were concerned it was a water line leak in our slab. We called Patriot and Mike and Blue came out and performed a thorough system leak detection test and determined there was no leak within the home water system. They also performed camera video inspection of our septic line and irrigation drainage. It was determined, while working closely with our landscaper, that our landscape drain was at fault and we had it repaired. We really appreciate the thoroughness of their troubleshooting efforts and ability to clearly explain to us their findings. We are very happy with the service and want to recognize the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness that Mike and Blue showed us. We definitely recommend Patriot Plumbing. read more

Arnel was super nice ( and he came right on time) and tried to help me save money because I got the wrong part. The next day Mike and (I didn't catch the other friendly man's name) came back and I bought the wrong part again ! And they went out of their way to get me the right part and did not charge me extra for it. I just can not get over how friendly, and professional these guys are. They definitely made my life easier and were super helpful. Also, they had it fixed within 10 minutes! The best plumbers I have ever used!!!! Larry, the owner, actually came to my house twice to make sure my shower was fixed correctly. We hadn't had any water pressure in our shower since we bought the house. Larry and John found the problem. Tiny pebbles and sand clogging the cartridge. Once they got all the dirt and stuff out, the water pressure is amazing. John kept me updated on the parts. My shower parts were hard to get, but they contacted the manufacturer and got the parts. The price for all their effort was amazingly fair. If you need an awesome plumber at a good price Patriot Plumbing is the answer. We won't use any other plumbers from now on and will highly recommend them to friends, coworkers and family. Five stars really aren't enough. read more

We needed our emergency water shut-off valves replaced so we could install our new faucets. Called multiple plumbers with little response - until we called Patriot Plumbing. I left a message and within 10 minutes received a callback. Not only was the estimate Derrick provided half the cost of another well-known national plumbing business, but they arrived on time, came in FAR under the estimate, and completed the work within 90 minutes (the other business quoted 4 HOURS!!!), which included installing the new faucets. Derrick and Larry were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. I work for a property management company (Roberson Realty) and we have two water heaters at different residences that needed attention immediately. I called another company on Monday (today is Wednesday) for the first property and they never reached out to our tenant to schedule the service. So when the second tenant called for service on their water heater I reached out to have both properties serviced and they were there within an hour. The other property is scheduled for tomorrow. Had a great experience with Patriot Plumbing today. We have been dealing with kitchen sink issues since we bought our home in November 2019. After being told it would cost $4,000+ to fix our sink issue (without trying very hard) Patriot came in and wouldn't stop until they exhausted all options. I am happy to say we didn't have to pay anywhere near that amount and our sink is working amazing! They were knowledgeable, explained where the issue was and what they did to fix it. They also wore masks and remained professional throughout the service. In addition, they also educated us on how to maintain the sink blockage and to do follow ups yearly to ensure there was no more issues. Definitely recommend them! Great job!!!! read more

When I just moved into my house a few years ago, I had a bad experience with a plumber that was recommended to me back then, so when my pipe and sprinklers broke, I did NOT want to go through that experience again. I went to find someone else with good reviews and so glad I found these guys. Everything about Patriot Plumbing was great - Mike, the guy who came out, and his assistant were friendly and professional, the price was very decent, and most importantly the job was well done. In December, my wife and I noticed we were not getting hot water and that our floors were swelling and hot. I was out of town for work and my wife called them. They came in very professional and diagnosed my slab leak. We scheduled a repair and they came on time, we're very professional and weren't out to break my wallet. Our kitchen had a new countertop and sink installed on a Friday. On Saturday we couldn't use the sink until we found a plumber. The contractor didn't have one that they could recommend. We simply Googled plumbers in Palmdale California and one of the companies open on Saturday was Patriot Plumbing. The good reviews on Yelp were well founded. Mike came to our house within 30 minutes and had our garbage disposal and faucet hooked up and running within an hour. I had the main pipe to the house burst after hours.. Many plumbers advertise that they provide 24hr service however when I went through the phone book calling each and every one, leaving messages with their answering services, not one returned my call until the following day. Patriot actually answered the phone, no answering service, an actual person. I needed to have 2 Flushmate pressure tanks installed due to a recall. At first a Sears tech came on behalf of Flushmate & he said he couldn't replace the tank due to rusted nuts & bolts, so he put my toilet back together with the old tank & I had major water leakage because he didn't put it back together correctly. Patriot Plumbing will now be our go to plumbing business for our home in Quartz Hill. We needed two toilets adjusted and a shower valve replaced. We were quoted $165 to $225 over the phone and ended up only being charged $155! We were given a two hour window of 2:00-4:00 p.m. The business had a cancellation, so they even called and offered us an earlier appointment time! We have used Patriot Plumbing on two occasions. Both times were exceptional! The explained everything they were doing step by step. The most recent experience was when I thought our water heater was going out. They quickly found there was a water leak in the wall behind the water-heater and and took care of it. When I tried to restart the water heater, I couldn't get it to come back on. My wife called and asked it they would take a look and they got it fired up in an instant! NO CHARGE for coming back out to help! I highly recommend Patriot Plumbing. They are a great bunch!!! read more

Patriot Plumbing is the best plumbing service out here in the Antelope Valley!!!! They were efficient and super helpful with my leaking and overflowing toilet. They came the same day that I called them. I called another company who tried to fix it first and charged me a ridiculous amount but the problem persisted and Patriot was the only one that fixed it! It was at a lower cost too. They were so friendly and their service is top notch. I won't ever call another plumbing service except for them. Bravo! I would rate them 6 stars if it was possible. I've called Larry at Patriot plumbing on several occasions to deal with plumbing issues. He and his guys are always on time and very professional. They always do a good job, whatever the issue - I've had them replace two toilets, replace a tub faucet and controls, fix an outside hose bib that was leaking inside the wall, pulled my dishwasher when we replaced out kitchen floor, and replace a shower control. The work was quickly and efficiently done and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend Larry and his crew to anyone ! read more

The estimate was ridiculously high, which was dissapointing because I used to use their services previously in the past. Plumbers like barbers nowadays are pricing themselves out of jobs. I called another company and got the work completed for a fraction of the cost and I spent more time talking with the plumber after the work was completed than the time it took for my repairs to be completed. From this experience alone I will not use The Plumbers services again and my refrigerator magnet with their contact info is going in the trash!

Antelope Valley Plumbing reached out to me with a local number (all the others were 888 numbers and there were no answers when I tried calling). I called Antelope Valley Plumbing and was able to confirm the appointment time I was looking for, which was today at 2. The phone call was no fuss, no muss, and very straight forward. It's rare that it goes that smoothly these days so I was very happy. I received a text @ 1:30 telling me that the plumber, Joey, was in route. 10 minutes later he shows up, lays out the process in which the service will proceed, and it was very upfront and reasonable. In a very short time, my leak was gone, my front yard was no longer flooded, and Joey is a very personable individual who obviously takes pride in the work he does. While the repaired pipe was going thru it's curing time, Joey took the time to discuss some other projects I am looking to get done in the future. He didn't have to do that, but he happily did. Based on the communication, the response and repair time, and the price, this was a 10 star experience for me. It was stressful watching my yard get more flooded by the hour. Exceptional Service…read more LA County only allowed three backflow testing companies to use so my choices are absurdly limited. The first one I called couldn't even tell me when she is available. She was like "uh, um...send the form to me first then I will tell you when I can come over." I was like lady get your priorities straight. How can you not know when you can come over over to do a backflow test? Ever heard of a calendar? The concept of time management? Jeez, the worst! The second company doesn't even know what their right hand is doing from its left hand. They didn't even know if they do backflow testing nor have any answer to my questions. I was put on hold multiple times so they can figure out if they do backflow testing, how much it would cost, or when they can even come over. They finally got their isters together and said the best they can come over is a month later. A month! You do know they threaten us by shutting off our water if this is not done? Yes, this is true folks. I was like screw this! The last one was like getting a little slice of heaven. They provided solutions for everything; not problems: Excellent customer service (thanks christina....i hope this is correct), immediately set up a date and time of service (within a weeks time), knew exactly where to service the device, and I didn't have to be there. It was so easy to take care of this due to their effectively managed service from phone call to testing. Mind you, these are the only approved testers and this company is pure success.
