She was being taken for thousands of dollars by another company. They convinced my friend she had a water leak coming from the main off the street, through her water meter, and the leak was somewhere under her driveway. They wanted $10,000 to repair it. She had already spent thousands having a problem fixed that was not a problem at all, all she had needed was a disposal put in. Daniel Plumbing came out, showed us that there was NO LEAK. Explained how there was no leak, showed us the water meter dial was not turning, because there was no leak! He charged NOTHING to come by to give an estimate, and saved her THOUSANDS. Dealing with home warranty companies can sometimes leave you pulling your hair out. You're stuck at the mercy of the company and pray they will send someone out that is not only qualified to complete the repairs to your home, but will also act in a professional manner. Well, Daniel Plumbing and Maintenance met the criteria of being qualified and professional! Once our request was dispatched to Daniel Plumbing and Maintenance, a Representative from the company called us immediately to schedule an appointment. The conversation with the young lady scheduling the appointment was extremely professional, and she made sure all my questions were answered before I hung up. I was provided a service window between 8:30 am and 10:30 am. Robert and his assistant (which was his son), arrived at my home at 9:15 am. I was pleasantly surprised, because service technicians usually run on the later side. They were dressed professionally, neat and clean, and were wearing face coverings. I especially liked the fact that they wore face coverings not only to protect themselves, but the home they were about to enter. We have two plumbing issues to service. A leak between the garbage disposal, and a leaking valve in our guest shower. Robert and his son assessed both problems, explained what was going on, and immediately began the process of repairing the items. His son is clearing learning the trade, and it was nice to hear Robert explaining in detail how to repair the items, and the right way to do them. This was incredible to witness, because Robert was passing his passion and professionalism onto his son. Even with the extra time he took to explain things to his son, the two jobs were completed under an hour. They were extremely thorough, very professional, and left my home spotless. Daniel/Robert came to my house on an insurance work order. He came out of the appointment time that I scheduled and confirmed twice. Looked at my sink, twice, and left. He was advised to contact my insurance company, explain what the job would entail and fix it. He did neither. I called him to find out what happened and why he didn't work on my sink and he began yelling at me. I was appalled at his demeanor towards me! I'm horrified by the lack of professionalism. I reported him to my insurance company and will never call this company again! I would never recommend this company. read more

On 03/20/2022 Old Republic Home Protection sent Daniel Plumbing and Maintenance out to repair the kitchen Faucet that was leaking. I was told by the technician and owner of the company that it would have to be replaced and OROP would only cover standard Faucet at $150.00 and I would have to get the upgraded at $225.00 more because the standard faucet was not available I paid him the $225.00- for the new faucet. I later checked on the faucet he installed was not an upgrade at all it was a Delta Model 16932-SD-DST and at lowes it was only $119.00. I have called ORHP many times and finally they agreed to pay me back $150.00 But they already paid Daniel $150.00 for Faucet and Plus the $225.00 i paid him now i know why he did not leave a Warranty Card with the part number. Daniel Plumbing is very dishonest and takes advantage of disabled senior citizens so BEWARE THEY ARE MISLEADING AND DISHONEST and i will be filing a complaint with the state of California contractors division read more

This company sent a very rude man named Robert to fix a leaming faucet. He flipped the hot and cold water in the shower. When I called him to get it fixed he wouldnt return my calls. Finally got thru to him today and he advised me that there is no way the water could be switched and they will not come fix it. If a plumber is to stupid to know how to hook up hot and cold, just imagine what he could do on a more complicated job. Robert represented himself as the only person I could speak too. I had to google to get his offices actually number to let them know this has happened. They should be sending somebody out immediately, yet has to get back to me. read more

Robert is one of the nicest most genuine people you'll find in the business. As most of you know, this industry is known to rip off customers, similar to auto repair. I called multiple plumbers for quotes and Robert prices were more than fair. He installed a 50 gallon Bradsford White including a sentiment trap and an exhaust B vent pipe. Robert the Plumber hooked up my water wrong. Hot is cold and vice versa. He has been quite rude about his inept plumbing skills. He has indicated he is perfect and incapable of making such a mistake and has refused to fix it. He lied pretending to be customer service and stated multiple times he wasnt the man who came out, even though he was. He hung up on me and will not accept calls to fix it. If he cant hook up water right imafjng what he will do to your bigger job. I have now called the actual office and rather than sending somebody immediately to fix their companies error, they stated they have to look into their process. It's a good me or my child didnt get burned due to his dabgerous plumbing skills. AVOID. read more

Daniel Plumbing was assigned by home warranty company. I did not have a pleasant experience. He did not want to listen to any thing I had to say, although I already had a previous plumber come and diagnose the problem. He INSISTED there was nothing wrong, but he assured my son and I he would not "close me down" with my home warranty company or leave me hanging with this issue and would make sure they would send another plumber out to give a second opinion. Well after speaking with the company, he in fact reported I was just unhappy with my current water pressure and that there was nothing wrong, really! You got all that from running my water for a couple of minutes, did minimal diagnosis and did not even measure the PSI. So with his "final" report I am stuck with a closed case and having to pay for any fixes for this problem out of pocket. His attitude towards me was condescending from the beginning, not personable and the raised argumentative tone of his voice even brought my son out of his room with concern. He was disrespectful and in the end by his actions with the home warranty company, he proved to be both dishonorable, unprofessional and ultimately untrustworthy. There are too many other more respectful and efficient plumbing companies out there to ever deal with this company again. read more
