On December 1st at about 1:30pm I received a report that our water main broke at the Lancaster Water Company, a mutual water company serving 22 homes in our neighborhood. After calling a number of Well companies and other plumbers, Johnny was the only one willing to take on the headache of a job at a fraction of the price the competition quoted. Johnny left another job to come assess the situation and less than 24 hours later our water was back on. He returned a number of times to ensure there were no leaks as a result of freezing temps, and everything was operating as it should, earning himself a spot on our list of preferred vendors. I love that Johnny's Plumbing & Rooter is not only a family owned and operated business, but they are also Native. Johnny and his sons are knowledgeable, honest and to the point. No beating around the bush here. I appreciate their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for their customers, especially in an emergency situation. They worked in the cold and the dark to ensure our water was back on! Definitely give him a call for any of your plumbing needs. read more

Great service knowledgeable, quick and affordable. I highly recommend this business for all of your plumbing needs.

I highly recommend Johnny's Plumbing and Rooter service he is the best person for your plumbing needs in the Antelope Valley. He did a HUGE job on my parent's house in Lake Los Angeles on 12-2023. My parent's house needed massive plumbing work. We had an emergency with a water leak and he was able to determine that it was a slab leak underneath the water heater. He was able to help us with all our water plumbing issues including replacing old damaged pipes, removing and installing a new water heater, fixing water pressure issues, replacing broken outdoor faucet hose valves etc.., He gave us the best estimate and explanation on everything. We had massively corroded and rusted pipes, so we decided to invest in a water filtration system that is turning out to be the best home improvement we have made in years. My parents were so happy with the upgrades they literally got teary eyed and super emotional to see how good everything turned out. Johnny went above and beyond and we are truly grateful to him and his team. He also made sure everything was up to code. He is a total expert in his field. He kept us informed on what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He was very patient with us and answered all our questions and was very transparent with all his work and parts. It was a blessing finding such an honest pluming professional. It was a pleasure doing business with him. We want Johnny to do the plumbing and bathroom home inspection when get ready to buy a house. read more

I've been putting off getting a plumber for a while but when i called Johnny and found out they could come out and fix my issue the same day i was pleasantly surprised! They came out and Johnny's expertise managed to help me fix an issue that would've just gotten worse and worse if i had continued to neglect it. They even managed to find a broken part that a previous plumber had routed poorly. They solved my issue and even managed to poor concrete and add an access box for future use! Had a great time watching and learning and i'm definitely going to stick with these professionals in the future! Thank you Johnny! Forgot to mention : every other plumber quoted me an outrageous amount for this issue but these guys did everything for a great value! and all in one day! read more

I had an issue with my water heater yesterday and contacted John through yelp, he replied right away and came to my house, gave me an estimate and advised us on what would be the best route to take. He came back in the afternoon and took care and resolved the whole issue, I highly recommend him, he was very professional, cleaned up after himself and left my home with hot water again. read more

Johnny won a new customer for life today. I contacted Johnny for a quote to replace a broken toilet flange. He was very accommodating and came out with his son about 2 hours later after finishing another job. Our toilet had an offset, which made the repair difficult, if not impossible. Two other plumbers I contacted immediately advised I'd need to cut tile and jackhammer into the foundation concrete to replace the flange. Not what a homeowner wants to hear. After discussing several options with Johnny, he was able to figure out an alternative and ran to the hardware store for parts. A short time later, he had the flange replaced and set in concrete, all without a big mess or unnecessary work. If you're looking for a plumber that is friendly, is reasonably priced, and provides quality service, I HIGHLY recommend Johnny's Plumbing and Rooter. read more

If u need ur water heater replaced or even looked at call John. They are super knowledgeable and they know what they are doing. Our water heater went out on us so I started calling around to find someone to come fix it for us. Everyone was either telling me they couldn't come until Monday or they wanted to charge an arm n a leg to replace it. I called John n he had Michael come out within an hour of me calling him and he was charging a reasonable price. The best part is he wasn't trying to con me into getting parts that didn't need replacing. Thank u so much John for getting my family and me hot water again u guys are a life saver!!! read more

Johnny always does a great job. Has been my plummer for almost 15 years now. Has done things as small as unclogging drains to major jobs like replacing my main line from the street and this filtration system. He is very punctual and gets the job done right the first time and always cleans up afterward. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

I was looking for a plumber to replace a leaking water heater. The leak was discovered late in the evening. Johnny communicated with me consistently to provide information and a competitive bid so the work can be started in the morning. His team showed up on time, reviewed the problem and started the repairs. Johnny did not take any shortcuts. He identified water damage and took his time to dry it before proceeding. The job was done well and Johnny is on the top of my list for all future plumbing needs. read more

He knows his stuff. Make sure you get a quote before hiring. I felt like I paid more than twice what I should have.

I have a rental property in Palmdale, that was leaking and low pressure with main system I called Johnny after seeing the reviews on yelp. and set up appointment with Johnny & my tenant. He was be there really quick. and take several times to repair all problem one by one. He called/texted me with the problem that he had found and the cost ahead. He did the job and let me know as soon as he was done. It was quick and easy and the price was fair. read more

Johnny's plumbing did an excellent job. He arrived on time, and got the job done in no time! He explained the problem and quoted a decent price. I highly recommend this company. A+++ service. read more

At first Johnny seemed like a really stand up guy. He came out and fixed my water heater for a fair price . He and his crew left some garbage behind but nothing major. Then I have him out for another job related to the sprinklers. Everything seems ok until I notice one set of sprinklers does not turn on. I call Johnny and ask him about it. He tells me he'll come out and take a look. He tells me this at least two times over the phone and never shows up. I do some digging and it turns out the set the wasn't working is no longer hooked up to the main water line. No wonder he didn't want to come out. Also, we agreed in a price and he ended up charging me 300 more. I didn't argue since at that point he seemed to be a good guy. read more

A Short Novel Johnny basically saved my marriage - well ok that may be a little extreme, but I am not a great plumbing fixer guy. Johnny came to my rescue a few times... Yeah - I suck that much :) Never really trusting plumbers I finally relented to my wife's insistence and started to look for a plumber. I saw that Johnny received a very high rating up here on Yelp and called him in the morning. He was willing to come out that evening (I have a 60 mile commute) He arrived before me and was super pleasant and friendly, knowing the kind of drive I have. After starting the first of 3 jobs, he at leased praised my efforts but told me I had no chance. He quickly fixed the washer faucet issues and gave me a fair price for the work. Wife was happy. Thank you Johnny. Later that week, a leak springs from the same pipe in a different spot. It turns out that the pipe was cheap and finally burst after several years. I opened the wall and Johnny came out that day and repaired the pipe. Another quick clean job, and another fair price. As we had the wall opened, I said - you know this would be a great time to do a Box instead of the wall faucets. We arranged for another visit on 2/5 and Johnny came out to do a complete rebuild of the pipes, drains and faucets. And while he was there - I mentioned that the water regulator to the house was very old. Yeah, we replaced that too. Finally - we were looking at the drain from the furnace and we both disliked the way it was set up. I said please feel free to reroute it and make it more useful. So after a full day of multiple projects, Johnny not only did a great job in doing the plumbing but he also did a great job with the drywall repair after all the work. Did I mention he gave me such a great deal that I actually gave him more money than he quoted because he earned it.. AND SAVED MY A$$ from my wife.... Lastly, we were talking about Las Vegas and he mentioned a great resort in North Las Vegas. We went there this past weekend. We never left the building, and we had a great time.. Talk about a man who can do it all... Johnny is on speed dial, I need a new Water heater and we are thinking Tankless. I conclude this Book with the fact that he is a great Plumber and an equally great man. Dean read more

While working on irrigation in my yard I found out that my Water Pressure Regulator for my house was no longer working. Johnny was one of the plumbers I called. His price beat the competitor, he was courteous in conversation, and was even able to come and put in a new regulator for me the same day! Before he left he answered a question I had about my irrigation project and he gave me some tape to put around my exposed copper pipes in my garage so when I insulate them I would not have to buy an entire roll for just a small job. Great Customer Service. read more

Johnny's plumbing service has earned both my trust and continued business. I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough. Whatever your plumbing needs, trust me... You cant go wrong with Johnny's (Licensed) Plumbing!! read more

Johnny was professional, and best of all, available when I needed him. He was able to fix some minor water damage from an incorrectly installed toilet, fix the plumbing, and even do some patching of the floor and ceiling, although he usually sticks to plumbing. As an added bonus, he fixed two leaky toilets that I had not even put on the "To-Do" list - for no additional charge. He's not the cheapest guy in town, but I would say reasonable, and he sticks to the quote he'll give you up front. Thanks, Johnny! - Mark read more

Johnny & Mike are fantastic! They arrived when they said they would, explained everything thoroughly and did a GREAT job! Thanks again for sharing your expertise. You'll be at the top of my recommendations. read more

Completely upset that I used this person, again feeling defrauded by plumbers. This person guarantees his work but will not even patch it up, overpriced and once hey gets his money he won't be as nice, keep away from people that don't keep their word, no integrity, he said he would come back to patch and then refused stating he was not responsible. I will never use this service again and neither should you. read more

I've had a rental property in Lancaster for 5 years now. I usually use Darryll Livermore's plumbing but Darryll was busy today and I needed a gas leak repair ASAP. I looked on Yelp and found Johnny with high stars. I called and set up the appointment between Johnny and my tenants. Johnny was so rude to the tenants. They ended up getting into a huge fight and I had to tell Johnny to leave the property and that I would never use him again. BTW. Johnny was 350 dollars to inspect and find the leak plus the repair. I found another plumber and just had it fixed... $140 total. read more

As soon as john got here he started working on my backed up toilet and shower. He went on my roof to find the clog but there was none so he had to dig up the pipes and that's where my problem was. He showed me everything that he was doing and tested all my pipes as he was working to make sure everything drained well like it should. He doesn't give you the run around and is a very honest man. He even discounted my price since the problem was elsewhere but he still looked for it in all possible places. If you want someone honest and not scared to get dirty call john. I'm very pleased with his work and will definitely be calling him back next week so he can run a camera through my plumbing. From now on he will be the first one I call when I have an issue with my plumbing. He's quality of work is well worth the price. Not to mention he has very good prices for a licensed contractor. read more

I have never had to call a plumber before but my kitchen drains were plugged. I called "after hours" and was surprised someone actually answered. I spoke with Johnny who said he'd be over in about an hour. Less than an hour later he was here working on our pipes and was able to promptly get everything running smoothly again. His prices are very, very reasonable and he did not charge me over what was quoted over the phone even though he had yet to see what the problem was. I will definitely be referring family and friends to Johnny. Thank you so much Johnny! read more

We had a leak in a hard to reach place under out mobile home. Johnny came over within an hour of my call and was really great at explaining exactly what the problem was - his pricing was reasonable and he really worked with me and my husband to give us amazing customer service. These guys are great... my house is in Woodland Hills so they have a rather large territory. Originally my contractor used them to swap locations of my sink and oven, which included a lot of plumbing both inside my home and down in the crawl space. Everything came out clean and very well done... I needed a line put in for my new fridge and again they offered very professional service at a reasonable rate. Thanks guys, much appreciated! read more

Excellent service, competent and so quick to respond! Definitely will recommend to friends.

I have never experienced such prompt and professional service from a plumber. We had a huge overflow problem in our master bathroom and woke up on a Friday morning to a bathroom covered in water. We called Johnny and he was at our house in 30 minutes. He found the problem, gave us an estimate and waited for us to get approval from our landlord to make the repairs. Once we got the approval, he came out on a Sunday morning. He was fast, and made sure we didn't have further leakage problems in the walls or exterior of the house (yes, it was leaking through the walls and floor). His bill was exactly as estimated and he was kind enough to speak with our landlord about the repairs for us. Very friendly and helpful, I would seek Johnny's services again in a heartbeat! read more

Our side lawn had a leak in it from the sprinkler system, read some reviews and decided to call. He went out that afternoon to take a look at what was going on, he made a couple guesses but couldn't say for sure until he was able to dig it all up. He said he would be there first thing to start work the next day to let me know what it might be. I was impressed to get a call by 9:15 to give us his diagnosis, he gave me a quote over the phone for all the work and supplies. He even went out to check out the other sprinkler stations in the front yard and noticed those were broken too. When my mom and I stopped by that afternoon he was finishing up and cleaning up for the night, said he would be back the next day to fill up the holes that were dug up and let the ground dry up a bit overnight. I would have given the extra star but after going back to the property a week later to check how the lawns were drying up there were still tarps and a pair of boots left behind, otherwise good work. read more

The sink in our office clogged up on a busy-crazy-how many more things can go wrong- kind of day! I turned to yelp for the first time. Johnny's Plumbing had 5 stars after 22+ reviews and I decided to give him a call. He answered his phone immediately, asked me to text the address and arrived at our office within 30 minutes. Took care of the problem, price was fair and even offered a 90 day guarantee when he typically gives 30 days. Very impressed!! If we ever need plumping services again, business or personal, we would definitely call Johnny's Plumbing. I highly recommend him and will tell friends and family. Johnny and his team are very professional. My problem (pipe broke in front yard) happened late last night. They were here first thing in the morning right on time.
