Rather than calling our Home Warranty company and potentially waiting days for a plumber, we gave Loyall a call. We had used them once before through the warranty company and they had done good work. Loyall, the owner/plumber arrived right on time with a mask on. I appreciated that during these times of COVID. He has a great demeanor, communicates well and clearly knows his craft. Now, towards honesty and integrity.. he asked if we still had a home warranty, which we do. It's not with one he is contracted with, but he said "you know, they would cover both of the repairs you're requesting". How kind! He was willing to give up a job to help a customer save money. I wanted it done right away, though and had him proceed. Ultimately, we only paid $20 more than we would have paid to the Home Warranty company! Our faucet apparently only had a loose insert. He tightened and tested it to make sure. He could have sold us a new cartridge or faucet, but that's not his style. Gave me the service fee up front and said they could have a tech present between 10-12 today. Joseph was at my house at exactly 11:00am and went right to work. With the help of a factory tech at Navien, Joseph was able to quickly diagnose and correct the problem associated with that code and didn't require an new parts to make that happen. As I am not a professional, I would have taken Joseph's direction if he had wanted to up-sell me, but he did NOT exploit that opportunity. His honesty, competence and desire to invest in repeat business overrode the pure profit motive and that will serve both he and his company very well. I would not hesitate to contact them again should I need any further service in the future. It's rare to find such honesty in the trades these days.

We've decided to go with a full replacement of our water heater, which we confidently feel that they will do a great job on.
