His guys were a few hours away with the camera and hydro jet. He hung out the entire time till they got there. He said we are in this together! Soon as the boys showed up he informed them on what we knew and got to work. They cleaned out the roots and the clog. They located the septic tank with pin point accuracy. Valley Sanitation was true to the pricing they quoted, unlike other companies that jacked up the price after quoting a lower price on the phone (bait-and-switch). They quoted pump out prices this time last year on par with what we were paying eight years ago before all the inflation kicked in. Since we had concerns about the condition of our septic tank that other companies had failed to answer, despite prior efforts to obtain a camera inspection, the owner and his son spent quite a bit of time investigating our concerns and educating us as first-time homeowners of a home on a septic system. It took a lot of stress off of us as owners of a 45-year-old system with a concrete tank. On another call, the owner and his son were also able to confirm with a camera check that we had a functional RV pump out off our driveway that did not come up during the sale of our home. (It had been covered up for years by a mound of dirt off our driveway.) We appreciate the service we received, enjoyed talking to them and will call Valley Sanitation again for future work. read more

Terrible service, everytime I call I hear kids in the background screaming and crying. I scheduled then to show up on a Tuesday. Come Tuesday they never showed up. I call 4 hours after missed appointment and they put me down for Thursday. Its thursday and 4 hours later I call back and ask what's going on with my appointment. Lady tells me she will call me back ASAP. 6 hours after missed appointment she hasn't called me back, so I call back and her excuse is that she was having problems with the phone. And now it turned out that the driver is held up on a job from yesterday. Then tells me its another week before I can have them come out. Terrible service, unprofessional attitude and service. Unreliable and overpriced. I scheduled Valley Sanitation to come out for a routine septic tank pumping. I asked to get a phone call in advance so I could take time from work to meet them. I did the digging myself to make it as easy as possible. They called me and said they would be there in 1 to 1.5 hours. After waiting for 2.5 hours, I called to find out what is taking so long. The worker (the owner's son) said "lunch took longer than expected". When it was done, the bill came out to $595 for a simple pumping job (not including my extra time from work); about $200-300 more than I have paid with other companies. read more

We call and they asked a few questions and showed up a few days later. Let me tell you that these guys are amazing. Very respectful and I'm a female so that went a long way for me. I don't often write a review but these guys were so terrible I felt I had to let someone know. The 2 employees they sent seemed more interested in looking at their phone than actually working. They sp a very short time looking for the access to my septic tank without any sucfess. Then they told me it would be an ex $500.00 to have someone else with a camera locate the tank.At that point I asked them to leave and they said they would but there was a$100.00 fee for the service which was absolutely nothing. I paid them grudgi to get rid of them and told them not to return. They never even bothered to fill any of the holes they had made.Avoid them if you can! read more

I received a call last night at 7pm from a tenant that just moved in that there was sewage bubbling up in the back yard. I called a couple of the other companies in Yelp that stated they were available 24/7 and either got their voicemail or answering service. I then called Valley Sanitation and Mike answered right away. He had just finished a pump and his truck was full and there was no place to empty it that was still open. I got the feeling he would have headed over there right then and there had that not been the case. He stated he could be out there out there in the morning after he emptied the truck. The next morning my handyman was able to get the plumbing flowing. I then called Mike and he reviewed my situation, gave me a great education on septic service and did not try to sell or scare me into any services. Excellent service! We've saved money in the past on plumbing by having one of those machine drain cleaners that snake through pipes. This time the first machine kinked up and we bought a second machine. No success. It appeared that there was a clog between the house OR that the septic tank needed to be pumped. Paul of Valley Sanitation took the call and was very helpful, and gave some good advice on what to try. I wasn't ready to make the appointment yet - my husband was going to come home early and try again first to find the clog before we checked if the septic tank needed to be pumped. Mike of Valley Sanitation stopped by in his big pumping truck to check our progress and took a look at the septic tank, ran a hose for a while to check the leach line, and pretty much came to same conclusion that there was a blockage between the house and septic tank. He left, no charge. After work, he came in his own vehicle to see what progress had been made. My husband was tired, discouraged, and it was so wonderful that Mike projected such a positive Can Do attitude. He helped my husband get the clog unblocked in short order. Again, no charge. We are going to get the septic tank pumped in the near future and get a polyethylene riser and lid installed for easier access. When I went up to his truck he mentioned that he could not understand why his truck was only half full..well that is because he did not bring (or use) enough hose to reach the bottom of my pit (I had my blueprints).
