Called booked appt. Very unprofessional. Never showed never called to cancel or reschedule. Spoke to owner/plumber and immediately started trying to upgrade to major repairs when I said I had a clogged drain. Suddenly when he heard I had slab foundation it was a major corroded pipe and a large job. Then it was a tree root then it was we need to use a camera ... ffs. This is a clogged kitchen drain Took a real plumber a few minutes and a snake to clear it. Do not have this guy out. read more

Called the company to have someone out same day for a slow drain. He quoted me $185 and when I asked about his $85 drain clean special he told me that since I saw that it would be $125. We agreed that he would be there around 12 which I was fine with because I understand it's a Sunday and he would come after church. I halted my plans for the morning and early afternoon to make sure I was there when he arrived. When 12:30 came around I texted to check in and he let me know he wouldn't be there until around 4. Based on his previous timeline I assumed that meant 8 or 9 so I went with another company. I don't mind the time change, it's the lack of integrity and accountability that concerns me. He texted me saying it's Labor Day weekend and most people aren't working, I guess implying that he was doing me a favor by coming out. Do yourselves a favor and use someone else. read more

Our kitchen sink was clogged. I called and Richard was so friendly and helpful. He sent Manny in about 40 minutes to our home. Manny did an amazing job. we called empire plumbing to fix septic line, Richard came out and said the line needed to be replaced, it didn't need to be replaced, then septic tank needed to be replace, it did. He said he could do it, we said ok. Big mistake. He would say one thing and do another, every time. he talked big but didn't really know how to do it. A two day job turned into more than a week and he complained the whole time, blamed me for his difficulties, didn't show up when he was supposed to. after a few days said we will have you all hooked up today and able to use the bathroom. That didn't happen. I told him to be careful of the 100+ year old juniper close by and he said no problem. I had to leave for a few hours, and against my better judgement I left. I told him I wasn't comfortable leaving him alone but did it so he could get this done. When I came back he was gone and so was half of my beautiful juniper. He used a tractor and actually ripped it apart, tossing the branches aside, onto another juniper breaking big branches on that one. He said he had to trim a couple branches after he had done it, just destroyed it. he did everything wrong. had to come back three times to level the yard, he didn't know how to operate the tractor, he said he was a master, it became obvious he was not. I could say much more but you get the idea, it was a nightmare. He doesn't communicate and acts like he knows everything and doesn't listen. I would not recommend him for anything. My husband called Empire Saturday morning August 19th. He wanted drains around the pool cleared before it rained since he had been noticing they would back up quickly. I called The Empire Plumbing and Drain 9:00am and was told rather rudely that someone will come out at 1:30pm. That was strike 1. I was also told that the $29.95 any drain deal was really $29.95 per clogged fixture. That was strike 2. Finally, after waiting until 5:00pm I was told that they were very busy and would send someone out first thing in the morning. Strike 3 You're Out! That's when I canceled their morning service called and immediately called The Plumber in Lancaster, Ca who sent a technician out in a hour after 5:00pm and fixed my mainline drain issue in 20 minutes. I found The Empire Plumbing and Drain to be misleading in advertising and unprofessional in customer service and keeping their word. I would not recommend this company. Very disappointed. read more

I had a small sewer line replacement job, just 25 feet. Had several companies over to give estimates and they were over four thousand dollars each! Saw an ad for Empire advertising so much "per foot", so I thought maybe they'd be more receptive to a smaller job, not the usual 80 feet! They were nice on the phone, came to estimate the very next morning, arrived right on time, didn't scoff at the job, gave me an estimate in writing that was 1/2 of what the last company quoted and we were off!! They started digging that afternoon, arrived right on time again the next morning and were done by mid-afternoon! Two holes dug 12 feet down in 108 degree temp's.....WOW! They were pleasant, hard-working and did a great job!!!!! YOUVE GOT TO SEE the telescope replacement method.....IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! We first used Empire Plumbing to repair a bad plumbing job done by someone else. They did an excellent job. Shortly after, our water heater went out, again we used Empire Plumbing to replace the heater. It looks better and cleaner than when the original heater was put in.
