I called Antelope Valley Plumbing and was able to confirm the appointment time I was looking for, which was today at 2. The phone call was no fuss, no muss, and very straight forward. It's rare that it goes that smoothly these days so I was very happy. I received a text @ 1:30 telling me that the plumber, Joey, was in route. 10 minutes later he shows up, lays out the process in which the service will proceed, and it was very upfront and reasonable. In a very short time, my leak was gone, my front yard was no longer flooded, and Joey is a very personable individual who obviously takes pride in the work he does. Stay away from this company- they are not worth your time- here's my story- I had a toilet back up…read morelast month- my wife calls a hydrojetting company (roto rooter?) anyway we paid them $500 for the hydrojetting - we still had the issue 3 weeks later and then we called the pump company to get the septic tanks empty- they did it and we still had a blockage- they sent their partner company Art Hydrojetting and the guy just came and said he was here to hydrojet and has no info - calls his office multiple times- makes some videos to show how clean it is now ( btw it was clean before he even got there) anyway he leaves and acknowledges that he was not able to fix the issues- and can't do anything inside the toilet as it was some procedural and insurance issue- I told him that as he's not done anything I should be paying them minimum visit fee and nothing more- I received a text and bill for $550 - so thinking it's an error I text the owner stating the issue of inaccuracy and then the owner called me today and after threatening me and abusing me - I decided to just pay him as he wanted to see me as he knew where I lived- I was initially infuriated and then realized it's a toilet flush company- it is what it is- by the way- Kurt Kohler fixed it in 10 mins and no stress even helped me out with the mess they had created at a fraction of the cost- you should always research lessons learned- just not a happy experience. She was like "uh, um...send the form to me first then I will tell you when I can come over." I was like lady get your priorities straight. How can you not know when you can come over over to do a backflow test? Ever heard of a calendar? The concept of time management? Jeez, the worst! The second company doesn't even know what their right hand is doing from its left hand. They didn't even know if they do backflow testing nor have any answer to my questions. I was put on hold multiple times so they can figure out if they do backflow testing, how much it would cost, or when they can even come over. They finally got their isters together and said the best they can come over is a month later. A month! You do know they threaten us by shutting off our water if this is not done? Guy that came out didn't do his job correctly and just told me my septic tank is full and charged his fee. Called Kurt's and they were able to see me that same day thankfully! Beau was AMAZING!!!! Not only did he ease my anxieties and worries about the septic possibly failing, but he was kind enough to give me a crash course on how septic tanks work. After thoroughly emptying, cleaning, and ensuring all was well, I was informed that if any other issues arise shortly after, it will be the main line and to call that plumber back to do his job. Fast forward not even 5 days later and my bathtub and toilet are at it again. Called the plumber back and informed him of the current situation and how I really needed him to come snake the main line as I had hired/payed him to do but was told that he would charge me again. Didnt want to deal with that so I decided to call Kurt's yet again. This time Bret came out to service my main lines and was a trooper at handling the few problems that popped up. He was able to find a clog in the lines and took care of it all right away. Once again I was educated and informed that moving forward if anything else fails, then it'll be time to replace the septic and/or leech lines. Although it was really pricey compared to other service calls, it was well worth the price knowing the job was done right.
