Homemade sauces everything made from scratch super delicious found this looking for German food but ended up finding Mediterranean food. It is super bright in here but food and service is great the owner who also owns the barbershop was super polite and was keeping the dining area tidy. This place could definitely get busy so keep that in mind.

First time here since change from previous establishment. Took me a while to review the different menu. Ordered two Doner gyro sandwiches to go. Nice change, sandwich was very tasty and filling. Indoor seating as before. The bread is made onsite. Will be back.

Stopped by for lunch recently. It was a happy accident because we thought we were coming to the previous restaurant, but since we were here, we decided to give it a try. I'd never had a döner or dürüm döner before but I figured it would be good since this was basically their whole concept. I got a chicken dürüm döner as is, no adjustments to it...it was AMAZING! So vibrant both in presentation and flavor! It was tangy, saucy, crispy, salty, fresh...DELICIOUS! Because it all comes in a flatbread, every bite is packed full of yummy goodness. If your tastebuds have been bored, this will wake them up! Also, the staff were really warm and welcoming. I'd totally come back here!

Döner Plate, chicken, over rice (no vegetable option) and potato salad with a pita

One person working. She's very apologetic because she's the one prepping and making good, taking orders and cooking. The place claims to be a Döner restaurant but it doesn't taste like they know how to make Döner. The dough or bread doesn't taste like it should. Some dishes are served with pita and the pita does taste homemade. The German potato salad is merely called that. It's not served warm or made with red cabbage but the parsley is fresh and ample. The Döner plate is served over Mexican rice. The ricotta pistachio cake isn't cheesy. The pistachios are mainly in the dough. Portions were good and the price was reasonable for the amount of food you get. There are some dedicated parking spaces out front. Overall this place falls short, especially sully if you're looking for something even remotely authentic. But I feel badly for the lady who is working here all be herself.

Never tried döner before and I'll say these are so good. There are lots of veggies inside and different types of meant to choose. The sauce combined ingredients well, and the tofu in the wrap was soft and well seasoned. Both döner and wrap come with a drink of your choice. The owner is also so friendly, definitely will come back again and try other dishes.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and they were very busy! Husband and I split the chicken plate which had rice and salad buried under an enormous pile of shaved shawarma chicken. I didn't order the sides because I don't eat potato or bread. So double green house salad it is, lightly dressed with lemon only. The chicken had a great flavor and I enjoyed the rice. Asked for sauce on the side but it didn't come that way, there was still sauce under the chicken clogging up the rice. Next time, maybe they will get it right!

Amazing! I liked the spot that was previously here but this is wonderful as well! My husband picked up my take out for me here, it was ready on time and easy pickup. I ordered a falafel pita which also had other stuff in it like cabbage and tomatoes and sauces, and a side of fries with spicy sauce. Prices were totally fair for the massive amount of food I got. I had about half of my food leftover. The falafel was delicious, not overly fried or mushy, seasoned well! Fries were yummy too, I liked the creamy spicy sauce (wasn't too spicy!). The bread is amazing too. This spot feels authentic for sure. Look forward to coming back!

The Kings Liver Bread was absolutely amazing. The hummus was spectacular as well. Best hummus I have had in a long time.

Absolutely spectacular food. Everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wow. Just wow. This place absolutely blew me away. I stopped by this German doner halal spot in Phoenix and got the chicken salad with a side of hummus. Let me tell you, every bite was perfection. The chicken was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor. None of that dry or burnt stuff you get at other places. This was next level. The herb sauce? Unreal. I could honestly drink it. It brought the whole dish together in the best way. To top it off, Jessica (the manager who helped me) was one of the warmest, kindest people I have ever met. So friendly, so genuine. You could tell she really cares about the food and the people who walk through the door. Everything was fresh, delicious, and fully halal. I already cannot wait to come back. This place is a gem. Do yourself a favor and try it. P.s: the owner Aner showed me how he made the beef donor at the back. It's made completely from scratch, no restaurant depot stuff - see the video for yourself!

We found this hidden gem and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious from the falafels, hummus, Noodle salad, cigar burek, fries, dürüm döner and döner bread. Everything tasted so fresh and made with love. The falafels were some of the best I've ever had. It had a nice crunchy golden exterior and a soft interior. With the hummus it was heaven! The fries were really good with the special seasoning they put on top of it. It was very addicting. The cigar burek is filled with cheese and parsley. The döner was so much bigger than I expected, loaded with tons of flavors to appeal to your senses. These are German styled döner and my boyfriend is from Turkey, but said this is the best he's had of any kind of döner in the states. It's a new restaurant (now over a month old), but if you're looking to get some good German styled Döner this is the place to go. Thank you for the hospitality and the delicious meal!

For me, it was a big hike up to the north side- but totally worth the haul! I grew up in the Midwest, occasionally going to one or two German restaurant/ clubs, so this was not an unfamiliar atmosphere to me. It is definitely a "seasoned" vibe, having immediately taken over the space by a former western bar/beer hall that had been in existence for 50+ years. Their menu says "German and Hungarian" but all I read was German. They have a solid European beer selection, including taps and bottles and some cocktails with a German twist. The one that threw me for a loop (in the best way) was Kriek! So ofc I got a pint. We shared a (fairly large) pretzel to start, which comes with beer cheese. Tasty, but I was genuinely shocked there was no mustard. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (pork) and just overall the meal was as expected as if I was in the Midwest - amazing, delicious, insert chef's kiss. I wish I could have joined the clean plate club. The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. It wasn't horribly busy so it didn't take forever to order and get everything we needed. Our server was super nice and patient. She even gave a bar suggestion that ended up being a nice cherry for the top of the evening.

I was impressed with the size of the schnitzel portion. By the end of the meal I was very full. I know there is a beer garden behind the restaurant but it is probably better at night or in the winter as it was over 100 degrees when I was there. The wait staff was very efficient and my food was ready when I arrived. Parking should be easy except during very busy times.

I ordered the big Smokey beef bratwurst, it was really good. Probably the best I've tasted. It was juicy and had a great smokey flavor and wasn't salty. It came with German potato's and sauerkraut, best sauerkraut I've tasted. My BF ordered the traditional beef roulade, it comes with a side of red cabbage and spaetzle. He said he tasted better elsewhere for what it cost.

We arrived at 4:30 and every table was full! Considering that they opened at 4, it was hard to believe it was so. We had to wait for about 15 minutes, but it was worth it. The owners are from Germany and the food is as authentic as it gets. There is live accordion music also on the premises. When we were seated we were immediately brought fresh baked rye bread and real butter. Our drink order was brought and companion had a Warsteiner beer and I had an Ayinger Dunkel which is a dark beer. Both were from the tap and were ice cold. For the main course, companion had smoked bratwurst with red cabbage and German potato salad. I had the jaeger schnitzel which has a mushroom grave, with red cabbage and spaetzle. Both of our main courses were delicious and large portions. Last was dessert. A big piece of apple strudel swimming in a vanilla sauce. To say we were full is an understatement. A motorized wheelbarrow would have been nice to get out to the car! The restaurant is rated with an A from the health department and it shows. When the bill came it was not to be believed. I've spent a lot more for a breakfast than for this dinner. Including 2 large imported beers the entire bill came to $55.00. I give them 5 stars for outstanding authentic food, good service, and cleanliness.

There are so many combinations of foods you can try, from only pierogis, potatoes, sausages, cabbage rolls, to a mix plate of any of the above and more! I wanted to try a little bit of everything, so I got the potato and sausage plate, which came with 6 pierogi, 2 potato pancakes, and smoked kielbasa. With the pierogis, you can also choose from a wide variety of options: potato, meat, and/or cheese. I feel like you really can't go wrong with any of the pierogis as they are the star of the show. Even though it was a random weeknight, it still got pretty busy with all tables occupied at its busiest. After dinner, we checked out the market attached to the restaurant.
