I contacted We Care when I heard scratching and gnawing in my living room wall (no droppings inside…read morethe house itself). I had read glowing reviews on Nextdoor.com. Tom came out and did a thorough inspection including conning hazmat gear and crawling around the crawl space under my house to see if he could find openings where the critters might have entered. Nothing there at all. So after examining the perimeter of my house and identifying a couple of possible entry points, he went up on the roof. There he found an opening near the roof vents, found both mouse and rat droppings. A few days later Alvin came to place a one-way trap...a rodent could exit but not re-enter. He also sealed other openings nearby so it had to go out the trap to get food and water. The plan was to return within a week. I actually heard a rodent go out the trap and try to re-enter but couldn't. The gnawing stopped right then. I still heard scratching, which stopped after 5 days. Alvin came back, removed the trap and fully sealed the opening, then moved the trap to another area. He'll return in a week to fully seal that area and hopefully exclusion will be complete. I was particularly impressed by both Tom and Alvin's deep knowledge about rodent behavior, and their enjoyment at sharing their wisdom. And I was also impressed by the thorough inspection that Tom gave as part of the free consultation. Problem hopefully solved permanently, but at least now I know where to turn. And knowing there is no sign of holes in the crawl space helps me feel much more secure. Thank you!

We were having intermittent power issues in our home in Windsor. We called PG&E who verified that…read morevoltage coming from their transformer was within range. He recommended we call an Electrician. I didn't know any so I headed for Yelp. I contacted two with good reviews and they discovered a scary arcing issue in the breaker box. We ended up hiring Ongaro & Sons and felt calmer the minute I called. Jeanne in the office was so professional and helpful. She set up a site visit right away. When Corbin arrived, his confidence, his abilities, and knowledge were impressive. He understood exactly what the cause was and the solution. Unfortunately, the remedy was a replacement panel $$$. We agreed. He knew about a recent change in PG&E's "Green Book" that would allow our panel to be installed in the original footprint but he explained that the new system would need to be grounded to water and gas. He immediately contacted PG&E and Town of Windsor to start permits and scheduling. Chad and Alex showed up on Monday morning at 7:30, ready to go. They professionally prepared the site for PG&E to turn off the power and then they got to work on removing all of the breakers and installing the new set of Eaton breakers. They used the crawl space under the house to run the grounding wiring and the work was completed by early afternoon. They left the site clean and did an excellent job of making a new wood frame for the panel. Alex showed us everything that he had done and it was an awesome sight to see after multiple days of worrying about the arcing issue turning into something very serious. Thank you Ongaro!
