I ordered a white chocolate mocha with almond milk and added cold foam, and it was actually really nice. The flavor wasn't too strong or bitter, which I appreciated, and it definitely didn't disappoint. It felt like a good starter coffee if you're not someone who drinks it all the time. The workers were quick and efficient, which made the whole experience smooth. I was in and out without any hassle, and everything came out just how I ordered it. My only note is the price, it came out to about 8 dollars for a small, which is a little on the higher side. But overall, it was a solid experience and worth it for a good treat.

Sweetened Macha, Iced - 8/10 Not overwhelmingly sweet, tastes like high quality matcha. I like the amount I got for a medium too, not bad for the price. Sausage Breakfast Burrito - 8/10 Decently sized, wrapped in a flour tortilla and came with country fried potatoes, sausage, cheese, and eggs (good amount of filling). Super delicious, much better than I expected. For the price and accepting aggie cash, great for the weekends. Turkey, bacon, caprese, spinach, and tomato panini - 7/10 Very nicely toasted bread with a buttery taste, the inside does not spill out too. Cheese is melted and nicely gooey. No one thing overpowers the panini, works well. Bagel Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich - 7/10 Nice soft bagel with everything nice and warm inside, gooey cheese is a nice touch. There is a good amount for the price, though it's not my favorite.

This location seems to have the same great items and a beautiful and bright interior space for people to hang out and enjoy. If you like coffee on the sweeter side, I highly recommend the horchata cold brew. This drink is the perfect mix of coffee and horchata. It goes down so easily that I finished my cup in no time at all. I wished they actually had larger sizes because I would definitely go for that. I did, however, find that they sold canned versions of the horchata cold brew. I picked up a 4-pack and I'd say the canned versions get about 85% of the real deal that you order at the cafe. They are a little pricey, but if you want some on demand at home it's not a bad option. The breakfast sandwich is also a huge stand out. The sandwich is big and fluffy. It's much better than you can get a bigger name coffee places and fast food places. The egg inside is fluffy and filled with delicious peppers. It was so satisfying to eat! This may be my favorite breakfast food item in Davis. It is well worth a try.

So far, I've had just the pho and it actually had flavor to it which is something that university-related food just did not have before. Based upon just this one dish, I will return to try the others. I saw sushi sitting in a cooler- may not try that, but I hear there are tacos as well. Even Indian food somewhere! I'm very glad that there are OPTIONS now and not just prepackaged/refrigerated choices. Probably would have stayed on campus much more often had this been present back in my Aggie days. Site of future lunch dates. For sure. Current Aggies: you are SPOILED with this variety at the MU. "Back in my days here..." ;-) So cash is archaic I guess. They take cards and wireless payments now. It's a large open space and I liked the windows and the high ceilings - could definitely see it being a nice hangout spot. I got a lavender foam topped cold brew which seemed to be a seasonal special since I love lavender flavored coffees, but the foam didn't really provide creaminess or sweetness to the cold brew which was quite strong and bitter. Mixing it didn't really help either and the foam curdled a bit and I ended up not really being able to taste the lavender because it got overwhelmed by the cold brew. I think I probably just picked poorly but I can't say I really enjoyed my drink - perhaps a latte next time!

They sent a text about these picture perfect heart shaped tarts. I sent it to my husband and he was able to snag a whipped chocolate ganache and strawberries and cream. When I say my heart sang a song and this ray of light hit the spectacular tarts, it happened (yes. I turned the lights on). I wasn't fully convinced yet. I have, time and time again, been disappointed by the flavor although the presentation was intricately made to be too perfect to eat. I'm not a big chocolate fan so that was the first one I tried. Well, the chocolate was rich but balanced perfectly with the perfect amount of caramel and the pastry that held everything together. I made coffee to reach a different level of richness and bold flavor. The strawberry... I was so thankful I was sitting down. The way my spoon cut through the ganache, the subtle sweet paired soooo well with the white chocolate curls and the strawberry mousse on top of the compote. There were so many textures. It wasn't pudding. It wasn't grainy. It was a beautiful orchestrated symphony of flavors and texture. I know that Valentine's Day is one of the Hallmark celebrations that can lead to lover's quarrel but it has never reached my household. Until February 14, 2026 when these tarts entered my house. I was fending off my husband and my son. Needless to say, get some before they leave for the season.
