There was definitely a lot of options. The desert area was pretty empty though. I didn't get the opportunity to try their hibachi grill area, but it was the reason I wanted to try this place. However like I said a lot of options, I was surprised with the amount of crab they offered. I can't speak on the staff because they didn't really come around often so we never got any refills. Well I just learned that KB is a chain. We have 2 out in Utah, though with much better and more enthusiastic service and far fresher food. It could be that the food is less fresh due to Covid, I'm not sure but the quality offered at this location is undesirable. Went at an odd hour to avoid the crowds. There were very few people in the restaurant when we went yet I did not feel comfortable with the level of cleanliness and social distancing practiced here. read more

It's OK for the $16 e/a for a dinner buffet but some of the food was over cooked.. they have a little of everything but the sushi was Dry some of The warm food was cold. with the pandemic they make you wear gloves to serve the food... and that it's OK The service is not friendly. The few negative reviews notwithstanding, the majority of Yelpers have pretty much hit all the right notes on King Buffet. Not the restaurant's fault, but parking is pretty tightly packed - not a bad idea to park at the far end of the strip mall and walk - an easy solution to the parking issue. Grand opening was very busy, and they still are generally busy. Again, not necessarily a problem as they have multiple dining rooms with lots of seating. Several Yelpers have commented on it being clean - given large crowds, families with kids, yada, yada, yada - they really do stay ahead of the drips, dribbles and spills on both the floors and the buffet lines. Very pleasant and attentive servers - never a dish or chopstick that didn't get picked up before we were back with our next plate or bowlfuls. Many have commented on the variety, and indeed, ambitious doesn't really do it justice. Mongolian BBQ with the usual noodles, veggies and proteins, but also including whole steaks - never saw that before on Mongolian BBQ. Huge sushi selection. Substantial salad and fruit bars. Boundless desserts. Several rows of steam tables with entrees and sides out the wazoo (sorry, I was running out of adjectives). It's going to take us a few years to try everything, but no complaints from our party of three about anything we tried. It's still a buffet, but it's a good one. Prices? All inclusive dinner for $15.59, or something like that. The competition? Great Wall Super Buffet. $22.99 for adults at Great Wall. Comparable selections. Service is better at King Buffet. Food is better at King Buffet. Better food, better service, and $7 per person still in your pocket when you leave - King Buffet gets my definite vote over Great Wall. read more

Server went back & took our ticker & change our Ticket $47++ which is $10 more for what we Pay.. so I ask for manager to questions.Manager say Crab Legs are extra because its Memorial Day,, ??? I told him We don't have problem paying that but atlease put a sign when you come in.. 3.5 stars is about right. The buffet food was decent. The price was reasonable. I brought my 4-year old there and they charge him $9 for dinner. Which I think is a little steep because all he had was a couple chicken wings and ice cream. I gave it an extra half a star because of the Mongolian barbecue. Surprisingly they did offer steak in the Mongolian barbecue so that was good option. The sushi was not fresh. The food at this place was okay you could say. It was itching better than HuHot. However the service and ambiance were great! The servant came up to you took your drink order then left and let you go start creating your meal. When we needed a check there was someone always there taking our plates, checking up on us, and giving checks out. WOW, I have been to a lot of Chinese buffets some good some horrible. I am not overly picky or critical of most of the places I have been to but with all of the 4 and 5-star reviews that must have been written by employees or paid for reviews. I have to warn people away from this place. Cons: 1) Most of the food was extremely overcooked and under seasoned. The salt and pepper crab claws were rubbery (the shells were rubbery) and the meat had zero flavor. All of the shrimp that was cooked in the shells were overcooked with no flavor and they do not devein the shrimp. The sugar-coated donuts were so saturated with oil it was disgusting. The cheese mussels were tasty but almost broke a tooth when I crunched into a very large piece of shell in the cheese. The crawfish are steamed and have no flavor besides dirt. All the chicken dishes I tried were way overcooked and very dry with very little flavor. 2) My server never smiled and acted annoyed when I asked for no ice in my soda. He seemed to have an attitude that he would rather be anywhere else than there. 3) One of the seafood bars smelled as if they had recently used a very harsh cleaner on it and it smelled horrible a sweet sickly chemical odor (not a bleach smell). 4) The absolute worst was the chocolate fountain. It tasted amazing but I will be surprised if I do not get sick after what I saw. The skewers are just tossed in a plastic bin and you cannot help but touch more than one skewer when grabbing one and then piercing the fruit to put in the fountain. I saw one child reach in touch multiple skewers, pull one out and stick the blunt end in his mouth before unsuccessfully trying to pierce a strawberry with the blunt end that had just been in his mouth and walk away leaving his saliva on the strawberry still in amongst the rest of the fruit. [I have seen chocolate fountains done well at cheap buffets where the kitchen stuck the skewers in the fruit and then placed the pre-skewered items into a flat piece of foam so you could grab one skewer and not touch all the other skewers.] 5) The rest of the staff around the buffet area acted as if you were in their way and would nearly run you over while bringing more food to the buffet bars. I was at the salad bar waiting to get some tartar sauce while the lady in front of me was getting dressing for her salad as soon as she finished and walked away, an employee rudely cut in front of me to fill a couple of small cups with ketchup. I am not a small person I am 6'8" tall and very large and if I was almost run over by an employee pushing a cart loaded with food, I feel sorry for any of the multiple children running around there. 6) The layout of the restaurant was very poorly done. Instead of being a large open area with tables they installed large walled-off rooms with tables and booths crammed into the spaces and small doorways to get into the rooms. The buffet bars were way to close together and became really congested and hard to move around in. There did not seem to be any sort of organization to the buffet bars either as to what food was on each bar. Pros: 1) There was a serving spoon next to the chocolate fountain that can be used to put chocolate on the soft-serve ice cream and when the chocolate touched the cold ice cream it instantly hardened encasing the ice cream in the delicious chocolate. 2) The baked fish was one of the only items that was well seasoned. The button mushrooms were also very good. The seafood soup broth was amazing (super clear your sinuses spicy) but do not eat the shrimp it is still in the shell and extremely overcooked and tasteless. 3) The dessert bar was good but I suspect most everything on the dessert bar arrived in a can or prepackaged before being placed on the bar. 4) My soda was never empty there are several servers walking around that will refill your drink. Golden Corral is nicer and more upscale than this place and their food is better, which is not saying much. I eat at a Golden Corral about once a decade. Cinzetti's for a couple of dollars more is a much better value with much better food. Updated 01/07/2020: I was sick for two days after eating there. If you really love your bathroom then this may be the place for you. read more

Truth be told I'm not a fan of buffets. They are not my cup of tea so I try to not review them because of that bias. King buffet I can give an unbiased review on though. The good: The service, our waiter was extremely nice and very attentive. The ok: The sushi. It was made fresh in front of you. I stuck to cooked rolls and can say they were good. A little above what one would expect. The sesame balls were great and honestly the only thing I ate that I truly enjoyed. The bad: Majority of the food is all fried, fried, fried! There was no escaping the trays upon trays of fried items. The buffet area was very dirty and this is due to the patrons more so than the staff. I was actually afraid to eat anything because I would watch the patrons take the tongs and just throw the handle onto the tray of food. They would spill sauce or food items all over. It was very unnerving and I quickly lost my appetite. Unfortunately I did not eat a full plate of food because I didn't want to risk getting sick from people's bad manners and carelessness. I ate a spring roll, a few pieces of the sushi and the sesame balls. I tried to eat some of the General Tso's chicken. I took one bitee aNd found it to have a very funky texture and taste. I actually had to spit it out into my napkin. Like I said I'm not a fan of buffets, my little sister suggested we try this place out. I was hesitant, but it was one of those evenings where it's a Sunday night, we are tired from the weekend and we can't decide what to eat for dinner. So low and behold we decided to try out the sister's suggestion. Lesson learned. read more

5 stars! The selection is great. There's something for everyone here. The highlights for me were the sushi bar, Mongolian area, soup and salad section and the wide variety of desserts! The service was fantastic and we never had to wait long for refill or plates to be cleared. My check came during dessert which was perfect. The only thing that was inconvenient was the parking lot. Don't waste your money, for the price there are thousands of things that are better to eat. Only decent thing here is the Mongolian wok and the sushi, but you can tell the sushi isn't fresh, I didn't trust eating anything raw there. The cleanliness of this place is really something to write about. Definitely the cleanest buffet in Colorado. I would not think twice eating food off their floors (okay maybe I would). When you walk you in, won't be able to see the actual restaurant because the lobby walls hides the magic. But once you walk passed the host table, you immediately see the Mongolian bbq station and the buffet rows. It is going to be hard to follow the host to your table because you will be immediately be drawn to the deliciousness. This place has Mongolian BBQ, Sushi, and various seafoods (crawfish, bluecrab, shrimp, calamari, etc). Sorry snow crab lovers, this one doesn't have what you lust for. They also have the other dishes that every other Asian buffets have and from what I did taste, were delicious. They seem to rotate the dishes regularly and they didn't seem like they sat out too long. Next time I come back I will be sending my hungry ass to the sushi and bbq stations.. King Buffet, you have been warned. What I wish would change is the blue crab. Please have another option and not just with garlic sauce. Have a fried option, maybe put the heads out. The food here is so0o0 mediocre, unauthentic, and so Americanized. And I love it!!! This is exactly what Chinese buffets are about. The true CB experience. And it's actually clean, which is a bonus and the service is good which is definitely a pleasant surprise. I think those people who give this place a bad review have gotten it totally twisted. You're supposed to come here to enjoy one of the seven deadly sins. (two deadly sins for some people I.e. grabbing two plates and taking all of the crab like it's gonna run away). It's not supposed to taste amazing. You're supposed to question whether you're actually eating beef. You can't come in here as a food snob expecting fine dining. definitely will come here every once or twice a year when I am craving some of this Mindless Chinese food experience. read more

Salt Lick! The food is really really salty which is why they are always asking you if you would like more water so that you don't eat as much food and you leave full. The sushi is mediocre. The food tasted delicious. Service was great! However, 12 hours later I got severely ill. Probably the worst food poisoning I have ever gotten in the United States. For 48 hours I had terrible symptoms. I'm assuming that either it was the raw fish /clams or possibly the crabs or crawfish? No way to tell as I ate a bunch of different food. I called restaurant to report the illness to the management but they blew off my concerns by telling me that their restaurant was not to blame. I will never eat here again. I didn't get any pictures but the food was all delicious. I didn't try any raw fish sushi but did try the imitation crab sushi and it was good. So many options and everything was fresh especially the salad bar. Was a very nice surprise after reading the bad reviews. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely go back myself. As buffets go, this is definitely a nice surprise. Good selection of the traditional Chinese buffet assortments. Food was hot and fresh-a standout for us was the salt and pepper shrimp. Sushi is pretty standard fare for this type of buffet-small sushi, fish was fresh but not particularly flavorful and same applies to the rolls. Chinese BBQ ribs had that light char su flavor profile Good selection for Mongolian BBQ; beef was cut thin but a little tough. There is a selection of sauces and spices but you are on your own creating a sauce for your BBQ. My bbq had a strong burned flavor so the grill may be a little over seasoned. What really sets King Buffet apart is their attentive, friendly service. Beverages checked, plates bussed promptly, and the food lines were kept clean. Overall a nice experience. read more

A delicious dinner at the best Chinese buffet in town. This place is always busy, which guarantees that the food is always fresh. The egg rolls and crab rangoon are out of this world. They also serve some American food such as french fries and pizza, so the kids can have plenty to eat, also. There is even a chocolate fountain for dessert.
