    Chicken Curry & Rice

The owners were very kind and friendly. It's a nice cozy place to hang out and play games, with good food as well. The lady that made my chicken curry was so sweet and gave me watermelon on the side.

Came in at around 9pm. Workers said they usually close at about 10 but stayed open an additional hour for our benefit at the drop of a hat. Very warm and accommodating. Felt like spending the night at an old friends house. - Chance G.

We just hosted my brother and sister-in-law's baby shower here, and it was such a success! The Kin Games establishment is a family owned business, and not only were they accommodating and easy to work with, but their prices were very competitive and they were just the kindest people. The venue itself was enormous and was able to host our 50+ people, with tons of additional room if we needed it for more guests, who were comfortably seated in the café area. From a gaming cafe, astonishingly, the food was also quite tasty - I would highly recommend the chicken curry over rice dish. Also, most of the tapas and appetizers like the potstickers, tapas, and scallion pancake were also a hit. The games were also entertaining enough for our young guests, even one of my nephews enjoyed the virtual reality station in the back. Ambiance-wise, the venue is a bit eclectic but all of our photos turned out amazing. The lighting in there is superb day or night, cathedral ceilings were a wow factor, and the large windows brought in natural light. Cynthia, the manager was very communicative during the whole entire process, and they made everything seamless, straightforward and easy. The owner, Cynthia's father, even helped us out during the set up of our party. Cynthia's mom, the chef, also went the extra mile and gave some of the children there a few flower crowns as a parting gift. This family is beyond generous, kind, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this establishment for parties or gaming needs.

kin/games is awesome! The owners were so kind and friendly, the food was tasty, and there was a selection of 75+ games or so. Great for a low key night with friends or family. We paid $5/person to play board games and there was no minimum spend for food/drinks. I appreciate them color coding the games from green (easy) to red (more difficult). Street parking or lot parking nearby. This is the kind of business I want in my community!

This gaming cafe is wonderful. It's spacious, they have big tables for boardgaming, the food is great, and the staff are very sweet. My board game group met here. The cafe has a well-curated board game selection. I was really impressed with the Spanish omelet and the coffee. Our food was delivered by a robot! They also have videogame stations.

I absolutely love the server, they are both so sweet and nice! The space in there is very big too. Gives you enough space for a party.

Do you guys still have pcs available for gaming? Like for games on steam

Hi, Tuguldur. Yes, we continue to have 8 really nice gaming PCs available for an hourly fee! Steam already installed.

Hello! may i know how fast the internet ping, upload and download speeds are? thank you in advance :)

Hi, Loki. We're at about 60 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, with a ping of 23ms. Ping does, of course, vary across games, but the majority of big games are on average at sub-60ms response times.

Can I plug in my switch?

You can! We have two of our own Switches, but we also have two more empty docks just for others to plug in their own.

    How many PCs are available?

Hi, Derek. We have 15 PC stations and 4 console stations available.

The games offered in each room change depending on how many people are in your group. And there are different levels, so once you beat the game, you can return to the same room to advance to the next level. If you fail, you leave the room for it to reset and then can return to try again as many times as you want. I'd never done escape rooms or anything like this, and was really impressed at the sophistication and technology. You get 1 hour and 45 minutes to play, and time flies fast. Came on a Friday night at 8pm and there were only about 2 other groups. Free parking in lot. The man showing us around (Tim?) was really nice. Overall a great experience to try. I'll be back with other friends for sure.

We beat at least level 1 on all the rooms except one--the marble contraption. I enjoyed that there was a good mix of skills required in each of the rooms. Some of the physical ones really tired me out! I think this would be a good birthday party activity for 7/8th grade kids and above, as long as they're semi-mature and the type of kids that enjoy puzzles.

Seemed to work fine to me, but my kid found a problem with the contrast and/or screen when he tried to play Christmas morning. We took it back to the location on Campbell Ave where I bought it. Showed the manager/owner and provided receipts. He said they would fix the DS because it was sold "refurbished." He said it would be ready in a few weeks, after the new year, and took my contact into. Never heard back. Called the store after the first month came and went. No answer. Months go by and my kid keeps asking about it. I keep calling the location but then I read on their instagram that the shop is permanently closed. But they they're still doing business online. So I reach out to their instagram and email the address on their Shopify, where in fact they are now selling a metallic blue DS, just like the one I bought in December! Still no reply. Hope to hear back now that I'm posting about this problem.

I had been to the church before, but I didn't remember the massive coffee hangout there! It's so spacious and offers plenty of seating. How long has this place been here? I wish it were closer to where I live in San Jose! I could easily imagine sitting in one of the comfortable nooks, studying or grading papers. It's also a fantastic spot to meet up or chat with a group of friends. It was definitely a nice place for a date! When we walked in, there were hardly any available seats, but the line at the counter wasn't long. We found a quiet corner to sit and enjoyed our breakfast. I ordered a hot latte with maple syrup in the name, though I can't recall the exact name. It paired nicely with my pastry. The almond croissant I ordered was delectable, with just the right amount of sweetness and flakiness. My partner enjoyed his cappuccino and savory bacon croissant. We walked up two steps to the restroom and were surprised to find more seats and tables. I wish I had noticed that area when I was looking for a place to sit. Oh well, it was comfortable where we were. The girls should have more playdates with their cousins so we can come here more often. Is it really called a "playdate" when the kids are 12 and 15, and their cousins are between 21 and 30?

The salted maple latte was just ok... sadly it looked better than it tasted. Ambience is great for studying or getting some work done.
