This place is inside of the H Mart in Long Island city. It's the new food court, and it was so pleasant to have something tasty and fresh in a food court for a change. I had the fish cake soup, which was delicious broth and fish cake inside definitely needed on a cold day. I also tried the spicy tuna roll, which was super yummy. I definitely wanna try this again. The Service was quick and easy and the food was super fresh. I say again.

Came here enticed by the siren song of a 30% promotion for the new food court. Who could resist? The food was aight. We got the spicy tuna kimbap and the dolmyun dukbokki. The kimbap was great--no complaints there. But the dolmyun dukbokki? Let's just say it was the culinary equivalent of a hot mess express. Everything was overcooked and mushed together like it had just survived a blender apocalypse. The rice cakes were soggy and had the chewiness of wet cardboard. And the portions? Generous, yes, but they must have gotten a discount on cabbage because there was so. Much. Darn. Cabbage. I felt like I was in a rabbit's dream buffet. Overall, it was average. Nothing really noteworthy that would drag me back for a second round. If you're a fan of cabbage, you might enjoy it more. For the rest of us, it's a one-and-done deal.

We came here with the 30% off promotion. There's no water offered in the food court so we bought some from H mart while we were waiting. We got the signature 돈까스, which was not very good - breading wasn't too crispy and there wasn't much flavor in the meat although the sauce was good. We also got the spicy tuna 김밥 which was very good. Curious to try their other options.

KimGaNae, which also has a restaurant located in Flushing, just recently opened up at the LIC HMart, along with a few other food stalls. All food stalls are currently running 30% off promos until June 6, so there are long lines. However, the line does move fast, and you can always order first, get a ticket number, walk around HMart for a bit, and pick up your food later during really busy times. They have a monitor that shows current and upcoming ticket numbers. There is a good variety of food to choose from if you are stopping by for lunch, dinner, or even for a quick snack. Currently, their menu includes kimbap ($7.50-$10), dukbokki ($10.50-$18), triangle kimbap ($5), rice dishes ($13.50-$16), curry pork cutlets ($15-20), dumplings/dumpling soup ($7-$15), and noodle soup ($8.50-$14). You can view the full menu on KimGaNae's website. I got the Bulgogi kimbap and enjoyed it. There were about 10 pieces, all stuffed with bulgogi slices, carrot, egg, pickled radish, and a type of green veggie (looked like choy sum or yu choy) with just the right amount of rice. Tasted pretty good and it was a good portion. Would love to try other menu items next time. Note: There is a shared seating area across from the food stalls, but it may be hard to get a seat during busy times.

Just opened in the HMart LIC new food court. They have fresh made food upon ordering. On the menu are kimbap, triangle kimbap, fried dumplings, noodle soups, dukbokki, rice dishes. There is a long line and long wait. Line to order took about 10 minutes. It takes about another 45 minutes for your order to be ready, depending on what you order. They give you a number and they will announce it. Order first and then shop inside HMart. You can wait in the ordering area for your order, but it is crowded. You can also order Gong Cha, hot dogs, Rice Boy or bakery items at the other stands. They have a few tables, but it fills up quickly. If dining in, they have reusable plates, bowls and trays. The food is delicious. My favorite is the dumpling soup and the kimbap. Also had the pork cutlet rice and the janchi noodle soup, which is only kimchi, scrambled egg strips and scallions. The soups are flavorful. Will have to try more of the items on the menu. There is a grand opening of 30% off until June 6. Great time to try it out.

Food is pretty decent. I had the squid over rice, but I think it's alittle too salty for my taste good thing it came with some soup to wash it down. It comes with corn, little bit of salad and yellow pickles. They had 30% off for grand opening so it wasn't too bad. You can get a meal for $10-$12. They stay really busy during lunch time. The place usually always packed and no where to sit. Take advantage of the 30% off when you can.

Ate here today by myself for dinner after work and helping out the school book fair at P.S. 152 Q as a substitute paraprofessional. I had brought the spicy octopus over rice with a can of soda. In addition, since it was newly opened, I got a 30% discount and it was worth it. Overall, it was definitely delicious and yummy. The service there was good but it took a while to sit patiently to get my order correctly. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

This located in a Hmart supermarket in LIC Queens, there is plenty of parking upstairs, you take an elevator down to store. It is a small food court with several food stalls, and tea store, and bakery. We ordered kimchi dumplings soup, the dumplings and soup very good, and fried pork cutlets. comes with two cutlets and slaw, corn, rice and gravy, cutlets were little on dry side.

Even though the promotion was supposed to end June 6th I was still given a 30% off discount. I tried to Kim ganae which was just rice cakes and fish cakes. I read a previous review stating it was over cooked and mushy however mine was cooked perfectly fine. I liked the sauce and i would definitely come again when im shopping at hmart. They had other meals so I hope to try them since they were advertising them very well to another woman while I was waiting in line.

We got in line around 7:30 pm on a Sunday and waited about an hour to order our food and another 20 minutes or so to be seated. You pick all the seafood you want first and how you want it prepared. Once you're seated, you get another menu with appetizers and other cooked dishes. Your seafood gets brought out along with any other dishes you ordered. Everything we got was really good and cooked to perfection. It was such a unique experience as well. There's a reason why the wait for this place is so long and I would recommend anyone to come give it a try!

Their move and expansion on Ditmars Boulevard was a massive improvement. The soul of the kitchen didn't get lost in the extra square footage; instead, the chaotic sidewalk scramble has been replaced by a much smarter, vastly improved layout. Make no mistake, the lines still form and the room still buzzes with heavy energy, but the experience is entirely elevated. The food remains exceptional, a lesson in Mediterranean-Egyptian execution. The grilled shrimp carries a beautiful, smoky kiss from the fire, and the scallops are pristine, sweet, and perfectly seared. But the real heavy hitters are the giant prawns--and a rich, nutty tahini served with warm bread that acts as the ultimate anchor for the table. It's a spectacular, unpretentious feast where the ingredients do all the heavy lifting. Food (4.75/5): Elite tier. The ability to choose your own raw seafood and have it perfectly dialed in to order is unmatched. The prawns, scallops, and grilled shrimp are flawless, and that tahini is a MUST. Decor (4.25/5): The new, expanded space is a huge upgrade. It's cleaner, better organized, and breathes much easier than the old spot, while still holding onto that authentic, bustling seafood market energy. Customer Service (4.25/5): Despite the relentless rush and the inevitable crowds, the staff manages the counter and the floor with sharp efficiency and welcoming hospitality. Price: Around $60 per person. When you consider that you are paying by weight for high-grade, incredibly fresh seafood customized exactly to your liking, it is worth every dollar.

I tried the fried calamari appetizer, garlic noodles, garlic bread, Cap't Louis mild sauce with snow crab legs, shrimp, clams, scallops, sausage, and broccoli (steamed or boiled). Each bag already comes with a potato and corn. Scallops were fairly large. Snow crab legs were easy to eat and delicious. Clam shells were large, but not much meat inside. The seasoning was tasty and had a decent spice kick. The more pounds you order, the more sides you get. They have a list of market prices. They don't have alcohol, which seems like a missed opportunity. We would've loved to have a drink. It is nice to have a seafood boil option in that area. They give bibs, gloves, and a disposable dish. I wish the water was served in washable cups for less plastic waste. There is meter parking.

A very helpful woman behind the counter guided us through the seafood selections and clearly explained the different preparation options. The food absolutely delivered. The space was very clean, and the overall vibe was immaculate. Definitely coming back here again.

The ones we had been to in the past usually allows you to also pick different type of cooking style or seasoning but this place only cooks it their way. It's good for people who are indecisive but disappointing for people who want variety of flavor. They usually have a section of appetizers and drinks you can order on a separate menu as well. The staffs were very low energies when we visited on a weekend night. The overall ambiance and interaction made us feel a little uncomfortable. We ordered: - eggplant dip - fries - Greek salad (large) - cooked fish - calamari - octopus Honestly I was so disappointed with the food. It didn't taste as fresh and was overall too salty. The eggplant dip had a weird taste. Friend fries were not as crispy and unevenly distributed portions of salt. The calamari was nothing special. The fish was okay, and the octopus was so salty we actually sent back the dish. It was very difficult to enjoy it. The staff was so accommodating and actually took the dish off our bill. (Thank you!! - great customer service!). My favorite item was probably the Greek salad, but then again it's hard to mess up a salad. I would say this is my least favorite counter order style seafood restaurant in Astoria. My friend said great things about it prior to my visit and I really wish I would have liked it.

Although, next time I'd probably skip the Craken taco and verde aguachile even though these two are a top recommendation. My favorite dish was probably the grilled shrimp.
