There is no decent ambiance in this restaurant and it's rather dirty and to top it all off when we came for lunch we were told they will not be serving lunch because all the waiters called in that day. So now I call before going in since it's kinda far away from me. The food though is absolutely yummy. It is always consistent and every single dish I tried is excellent

On today's visit, I made a quick pit stop to pick up a to-go order and the food smelled so amazing that it literally turned heads. In a world where most people avoid talking to strangers or are glued to their phones, Kimchi Time's food made strangers connect. A group of girls turned around to ask me what I was eating and where it was from. I like to think that like me they thought the smell was that irresistible! If that's not a sign of good food, I don't know what is. Hoping they take up my suggestion and stop by to try my favorite Korean restaurant in town. Whether you are eating in or taking it to go Kimchi Time never disappoints!

Such a fabulous place for Korean food. Food is easily shareable with classic banchan. The kimchi jjigae is pefect.

Kimchi Time offers a decent asian dining experience for Tucson. I got the hot Stone Bibimbap which had crispy rice with well-seasoned veggies, a fried egg, and just the right amount of spice if you add in the gochujang. Definitely the dish to try. The Kimchee Fried Rice was decent but very spicy for my non-existent spice tolerance. The spice flavor overpowers the rice, making it a bit one-dimensional. The side dishes were underwhelming. The kimchi was probably the best side dish. The other side dishes had rather interesting flavors. Overall, I'd say it's worth a visit if you are in Tucson and craving some Korean comfort food!

Quick and attentive service staff and good food. Our favorite was the soon du bu soup. Would love to try Katsu chicken and other items next time! Casual and chill ambiance.

Bibim Naengmyun

Came here with my mom after a hospital visit. The place was empty but we didn't mind at all. I ordered the Bibim Naengmyun and Kimbop but was a bit disappointed with the Kimbop as it was dry. It definitely needed some sort of sauce to not be so dry. I added some of the Naengmyun sauce and it definitely helped. I'm not one to write bad reviews, that was just my only complaint although I did not bring it up to the waitress. She was very nice and friendly. Naengmyun 6.5/10 Kimbop 4/10 | with sauce 6/10

Despite their name, they're very stingy with the kimchi. Food is good, but you get almost no kimchi even when you a so for a side of it.

Our favorites were the kalbi ribs, bulgogi, and spicy pork belly. We also grilled veggies. They have great banchan (small side dishes) that are refilled at request. We love the kimchi, fish cake, Tteokbokki, japchae (glass noodle), salad, pickled cucumbers in chili sauce were all delicious! For some reason they give you a seasoned salt and sriracha for dipping. You have to request ssamjang (korean bean paste mixed with gochjang (mild sweet chili paste) and other seasonings, which is a standard dip at KBBQs. Be sure to ask! The ingredients are fresh, and meat cuts are quality. Price for all you can eat is very reasonable. The doenjang-jjigae (fermented bean stew) and steamed egg are our favorites! You have to order these, they don't automatically serve. Service is friendly and great!

Service was good from the beginning after that it wasn't great, it was hard to get the waiter or waitress attention. My overall because this place was the only place and wanted to try this place out and I wasn't pleased.

We got an array of standard fare as well as some things that I don't normally see on menus of other Chinese restaurants around town. The dumplings were good, though I was underwhelmed by the lack of spice on the Spicy Pork wonton dumplings. The flavor was very good, but it was not spicy at all. For entrees, we got Curry Chicken and Cumin Lamb. I'd never had Cumin Lamb before, and it rocketed to the top of my favorites list! It was gorgeously flavorful, fragrant, and spicy, warming as I ate. The spiced oil soaked into the rice, spreading the flavor to every last grain. It's really lovely and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside, with a bright, cheerful ambience. Despite being busy, it never felt too loud, which was nice. The servers worked as a team and were very attentive. It was a great meal!

Huge portions, my leftovers were more than enough for lunch the next day and they were nicely packaged for us. Four for dinner last night, first time here. Our companions opted for the spicy broth versions and really enjoyed the heat. I went for the Taiwan BBQ with pork and mung bean noodles. The prices seemed a little hefty, but the portions were absolutely huge. They do a great job of packaging up your leftovers and mine was enough for lunch the next day. Dinner takes a while here. The root vegetables take a long time to cook. This was a good thing for us, as we were not in a hurry and a leisurely dinner was what we were looking for. Not a great place if you are in a hurry, so give yourself time. I really liked the idea that you really end up with a well-rounded meal. There are so many different vegetables provided in the standard serving, and even a couple of shrimp came with the broth. This place definitely merits a 2nd visit, it's really a lot of fun.
