My friend told me about this spot over a sesh so I decided after to satisfy my munchie craving . When I showed up I was a little confused at parking I guess u just find a spot and throw it in P. Inside it's very mom and pop ish few tables for you to dine clean and simple, good service straight to the point . I ordered the house fried rice it was bomb tasted fresh no hard rice or anything like that . I also ordered the beef kebab and it came with like a side of salad type stuff together it was the one! Tasted great and the meat was tender and juicy with the crisp from the salad paired well with a lil sriracha also . I also ordered this noodle with veggies and beef that's where they won me over tasted very authentic and flavorful they also hooked it up with a bone broth soup I never tried before super bomb the taste threw me way off as it was unexpected delicious. Definitely coming back .

Solid noodle spot. I haven't had their rice dishes. I need 85 characters to post this review

A sweet place to get comfort food. This local spot has been around for years. Even though it's new owners, it's still a great establishment with the same great taste and recipes. My favorite go-to is their Hainan chicken or beef loc lak. Ice coffee is 5/5, you just have to try it for yourself. Service is always quick and everything seems to always be cooked fresh. The ambiance is very comforting and well-maintained.

Chewy almost inedible beef

I was hesitant to write a review, in case the food was good. I went and first off customer service was horrible. I asked for rice and beef w/ broccoli and stir fry noodles with beef. She then repeated noodle soup so I said no soup, stir fry. She said she didn't understand, understandable but she tossed the menu at me saying just point. The total was almost $36. Which was iffy to me but whatever. Fine okay, when she hands me my order I asked if there was soy sauce, she never once looked up at me and said in there. I asked for chopsticks ( seeing as how there's two people and two plates) she tossed one on the counter still not looking up and I asked for another one. She then tossed them on the counter without saying anything or looking up. When I got home there was a chicken soup on top of my two plates, so she charged me something I didn't want. The noodles WERE HORRENDOUS. I had to pull them apart by hand, they were sticky and all stuck together (picture provided after I tried pulling them apart myself) there was only one soy sauce and the beef was super chewy and hard to break down. This was a very horrible experience here.

Nothing but Cambodian goodness! Soup was great, noodles excellent, broth was clean, soothing, and tasty!

Picking up Mama Lê's favorite dish for her birthday seafood egg noodles. I got the Phnom Penh noodle soup, and chicken chop suey. Broth was perfect for this rainy weather in Cali this morning. The famous Noodle Shack was packed, so I went up the street to another small local favorite to try theirs for the first time, it did not disappoint! And for $8 a giant bowl?! That's a steal. Dad hasn't eaten much lately and hasn't enjoyed his food, so he has lost a lot of weight. He ate his whole bowl!

Went here because my son recommended it. Had the Beef Lok Lak delish! Came with a soup (don't know what kind) clear broth. Good as well.

Hai Nam Chicken w/ Bai Chai Steamed Chicken with Fried Rice

This place is such a hole in the wall. It's a small restaurant with only 8 tables so it's best to come early in the morning. Especially on weekends. I always order the Hai Nam Chichen with Bai Cha. (Steamed chicken with fried rice instead of white rice) my partner introduced me to this combo and it's a game changer! It also comes with a small side of bone marrow broth, cucumber, and a delicious garlic sauce. My partner orders the Beef Noodle Soup, it's packed with flavor! Just make sure to add lime, hoisin sauce, sriracha, and the bean sprouts. For drinks, we order the Thai iced tea and Iced coffee. 10/10. Service is good. There's always one woman handling the front so if you come here please be patient, and kind!

This place is listed today as having outdoor seating. Is it still available? If it is, is it covered or heated? How many people can sit there? / June 8, 2023

Since I have eaten there I have not seen any outdoor seating. Maybe during COVID-19 they may have had it but I never saw any tables outside.

Anyone knows if they change ownership?

Yes they also accept card now

Celebrated a Birthday dinner here tonight! Even though the restaurant was super busy, the service…read morewas still amazing. Our waiter Karn stayed friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time, which honestly made the experience even better. We ordered the Thai Iced Tea, Calamari S&P, Crab Rangoon, Seafood Medley (medium spice), Orange Chicken, Pad See Ew with chicken, and Spicy Fried Rice with chicken (medium spice). Every dish came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The Calamari S&P was crispy and seasoned perfectly, the Crab Rangoon had a great crunch with a creamy filling, and the Seafood Medley was packed with seafood and had just the right level of spice and leftover sauce for the white rice on the side. The Orange Chicken was crispy with a flavorful sauce, the Pad See Ew was rich, and the Spicy Fried Rice had amazing flavor with a nice kick. The food, atmosphere, and especially the service made this such a great experience. You can tell the team works hard to keep everything running smoothly even during a rush. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Every dish we've tried has been full of flavor and genuinely worth ordering. Surprisingly, compared to other Thai spots, it's usually not overly packed and honestly I'm almost scared to say that because I don't want it to change. The service has always been great, the food comes out quickly, and the portions/prices feel reasonable. So far, our favorites have been the pad see ew, tom yum soup (medium spice), egg fried rice, fried calamari and the beef BBQ which was so good we immediately ordered a second plate. The mango sticky rice is also really good, but the portion is on the smaller side, so we ended up getting two orders since one plate is hard to share with more than 2-3 people. Parking has been easy for us so far since there's both a parking lot and nearby street parking. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants that's officially in our regular rotation.

I've tried almost everything on the menu over the years, from orange chicken to the short ribs, and most dishes are delicious. The portions are huge and perfect for sharing family-style, especially with larger groups. They've always handled big parties well, though I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time since they can get busy. The ambiance is probably the one area that could use some improvement, but the food and portions more than make up for it. If it's your first time, I'd recommend the chicken corn soup, sweet and sour chicken, green onion paratha, and Mongolian beef.

Condiments in the tables have a slimy film on them obviously not cleaned in some time. We should have left but thought the food may be different. We ordered Braised Shrimp (average), Cashew chicken (fast food quality) and Combo Fried Rice (Gross). There were pieces of beef in the rice that were dried out and had a bad taste as if food stored in a freezer the quickly thawed. Overall it was a huge disappointment. Gross, dirty. And they come to your table in hurry making us feel like we need to hurray and get out so that can seat others and make more money. Very Bad!! Look at the "inside" photos on yelp. That will explain

I lunched with a friend and shared two things: -moo shu chicken ($13.95) -salt & pepper tofu ($13.95) I've never had moo shu anything before and I am now a moo shu fan 4ever. Apparently the version here come pre-wrapped, but I didn't mind since I was a first timer. The wrapper functions a lot like a tortilla, but much more delicate. I like the mixture of chicken, wood ear mushrooms and cabbage maybe? Textually it's crunchy and I like that in the soft wrapper. The salt & pepper tofu is sautéed with jalapeños which give it a nice kick. It's not your classic version of the this dish because the tofu is cubed into bite sized pieces and tastes a little more peanut-y than salt and pepper-y, but I didn't mind it. It was great over white rice. L V is perfect for a quick Chinese fix. Lunch specials are just a bonus.
