i wish i could give less then one star but unfortunately i cannot, i walked into kim's nails with my mother and two little brothers so we could all get pedicures and me and my mom would also get manicures so we would've spent a substantial amount here. However upon arrival we were met with a incredibly rude owner of the establishment , we simply requested for a specific person to work with us since my my mom had been referred by a friend but the employee replied rudely and unhelpfully as the conversation goes by he is visibly and verbally uninterested in us we threw words and quickly left. My daughter and I went to Kim Nails yesterday. This was my first and possibly my last visit. I wanted a change of polish on my toes and my daughter got her usual pedicure. I have arthritis and although it's nice, I can't take the leg rubbing and hot towels. The girl who worked on my feet had a change of attitude once I said only change of polish. She stopped the water running and wouldn't let me soak my feet. That's the best part. She did my toes so fast and said next time you do full pedicure. It will look better. I said I'm unable to. She left me there, never put my sandals back on. I left a tip for her but would not have if my daughter didn't use them. If I go again I will try someone else. The gentleman was very nice. My friend and I decided it was time for a mani/pedi; being that we just got done eating lunch at the Cajun Seafood restaurant next door, Kim's Nails was a convenient location. We walked in, was greeted by a gentleman, I assume he's the owner. He answers all of our questions and even helps my friend choose a color. I was hoping for a memorable, positive experience, but it went downhill from there. My friend and I sat side by side in the pedicure seats and tried to relax. My friend lets her nail tech know exactly what she wants, and I do the same. I tell the woman who is doing my pedicure to cut my nails short, and she does. I want to relax, take out my phone and not have to worry about what she's doing, but I can't, not for long; she was very rough. I looked down and noticed I was bleeding from one of my toenails, and she tries to cover it up by putting my foot back into the water. My friend notices that I'm bleeding, too. I gave her the benefit of the doubt; it was just one nail, and mistakes happen, right? Wrong. By the time she finished cutting my cuticles, she managed to cut 4/10 of my toes! I was bleeding from FOUR toes. That is more than a mistake. It was ridiculous. I asked her to stop and to find someone else that could take over. I was so turned off from the entire situation altogether and was more concerned with getting myself home and soaking my feet in antiseptic to avoid infection. The manager apologized for her and even offered a discount, but I wasn't interested. Moral of this is: you can't trust every nail salon, and certainly not this one. read more

Consistently a great experience. I always get a spa pedi and gel nails using the match polish system, so many colors and styles to choose from. My nails look better and last many weeks longer than any other place I have ever been, and I have been getting my nails done for many years. This is extremely important to me because I dont get them done often enough. The same staff is on duty every time I go and they all do a great job. This is the first nail shop I have been to since I moved here to Orlando. First off I am very skeptical about nail shops because I have had bad experiences before. I have been here only once but my gel nails are on day 4 and they look as good as the first day I got them done! It's so surprising since I always get my nails done and after day 3 they tend to chip. I fidget a lot with my hands and even went hiking this weekend and there are no cracks! They have great prices and they do great work. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I went to Kim Nail on Good Homes and Colonial on July 31, 2019 to have a pedicure and I was dissatisfied. First thing when I walked in was, What color you like? I feel like when your having pedicure you should be seated and then someone can bring the color scheme to you so you can select your color while you having your pedicure down. That is so rude. Second of all, I am no stranger to pedicures. She didn't put no salt in the water. NONE. My water was clear, no bubble. I wish I took a picture, because I don't want anyone to think I am making this up. She didn't scrub my feet with no soap AT ALL. She even showed me how much dead skin I had at the bottle of my feet. This is a service that you are providing and that is cleaning peoples' feet. HELLO.........Thirdly when she was almost done with my pedicure, she started to cleanup her area up. SHE TOOK A TOWEL AND STARTED WIPING THE BOTTLES ( THE LOTION AND OIL BOTTLE DOWN) AND SHE WAS GOING TO USE THE SAME TOWEL ON MY FEET. I TOLD HER, YOU WILL NOT USE THE SAME TOWEL ON ME. THAT IS NASTY. So my experience was not the best and I will not be returning to Kim's Nail nor will I recommend this location to anyone. read more
