I called for a very last minute appointment for curtain bangs - and was able to get a spot with Cynthia who was very pleasant and kind. But this was by far the worst curtain bang cut I have ever received. My bangs are incredibly choppy and not what I asked for at all. I asked her to start with it longer then we can see if I want it shorter - and she definitely just went ahead and went for the chop. I asked for longer ends and that didn't happen as well. Today I am off to go somewhere else and hopefully fix this. Super disappointed and REALLY wish stylists wouldn't accept a job they don't know how to do. read more

Got a really good haircut, the lady they have to wash your hair will make you fall asleep. She's the best

A friend of mine recommend I see Michelle at Vintage Sky, and I'm glad I did! First of all, I love this area of downtown Winter Garden, so it's not a chore for me to visit. The salon was super cute and just a few stores down from one of my favorite coffee places "Axum." The salon was peaceful. Michelle saw me right on time. I got the best head massage ever while getting my hair washed. She took her time with the cut and did a nice job trimming up my long layers (and I'm pretty picky about my hair.) She had a pleasant demeanor and was super chill. My hair turned out great! I also felt like the price was very fair for the service you get. I will be back for sure. I'm sure all the stylists are great, but I do recommend Michelle :) Tip 1: They do take credit/debit cards and you can leave tip on it! :) Tip 2: Parking may be a bit tricky. If you're not familiar with the downtown Winter Garden area, you may want to give yourself some extra time so that you can find parking and possibly walk a little to the salon. read more

Let me begin with that I am VERY picky when it comes to my hair. I moved to Orlando 4 years ago and in those 4 years I would travel back home to Miami to get anything done to my hair. But finally, 4 years later, I have found my go to salon! Vintage Salon is located in the heart of my favorite town, Downtown Winter Garden; Kaitlyn has serviced my hair twice already, blow dried twice and today she cut my hair. I didn't have to wait at all, she cut exactly what I wanted and it came out perfect! read more

Vintage Sky - Loving my cut! 5 inches off and loving it. - Nail Salons Near Me - Winter Garden, Florida

This trendy, rustic hair salon is in the heart of downtown Winter Garden. Grab a bite to eat, walk around downtown and the stop in for a trim. Schedule an appointment. Jenna is awesome! They offer beverages (wine, water, etc.) amd you can sit in a nice waiting room (instead of in the main salon) while being processed. The ladies in the salon are all young and do great jobs. Men are totally welcome! You can schedule an appt for nails as well. I think they have 1 nail tech. read more

I was desperately needing a haircut and this place was recommended by a friend of mine at work. I called on Saturday and was in a chair by Monday evening. My stylist was Kathy and she's such a sweetheart. She cut and styled my hair and I'm totally over the moon with the results. It's a great location, cute studio and wonderful people. I will definitely be back. read more

New to the area and turned to Yelp for help. I was able to get a same day appointment with Ashley. She listened to new requests and also asked question regarding daily routine. She did a beautiful job with my cut and paid attention to detail. It's obvious she loves what she does and knows what she is doing! I will be returning to keep this cut looking great. Way to go Ashley. Thank you Yelpers for the reviews that help me find this great stylist! read more

It's so unfortunate that the only review for this place is from a negative experience from nearly two years ago. I've been a repeat client, and I don't ever want to go anywhere else. Everyone there is warm and friendly - they want nothing more than to make you happy! I typically go for a trim/cut/color. The hair stylist I work with, Kaitlyn, helps me decide on my own flattering cuts and colors, gives me amazing advice on hair care, and is an absolute pleasure to spend a couple hours with. For the price, it's completely well worth it, I get what I ask for every time, along with a fun and pleasant experience! I look forward to my next visit!!! read more

Araena is amazing!! She always does exactly what I ask for and does a wonderful job. Best stylist I've found to date (and I've been to a lot)! read more

Just had my first appointment with Mandy. She is friendly, easy to talk to and does a fabulous job! I booked an appointment with her via text, got in quickly and immediately felt at ease. I recommend the salon -- location, location, location. I will be going back to see Mandy!!! read more

I'd seen Vintage Sky in downtown Winter Garden and decided to give it a shot. My hair hadn't been cut in over a year, had a horrible box dye on it, and needed help! Kristen was incredible; she got rid of the awful dry ends without taking off too much length, and managed to get amazing color out of my seriously damaged hair. Phenomenal job!!! read more

Loved my first experience at this salon, and am looking forward to returning soon. I called last minute to see if anyone had availability for a highlight/trim, and I got placed with Megan G. - and I'm so happy that happened!! Not only is the salon itself lovely and relaxing, but Megan herself is awesome. Very professional, personable, and I didn't worry for a moment about how my hair would turn out (which can't be said for every stylist in this world). Plus, Vintage Sky is in downtown Winter Garden, which means you can walk around and show off your fresh hair afterwards. ;) Love it!! read more

Just received one of the worst haircuts of my life. Asked her to take just a little off and not to make any drastic changes. Walked out with too much hair missing and a chunk cut out to the scalp. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

I used to live in Clermont and alway had Kat at Vintage Sky do my hair. For the last 8 months I've been living in Fort Myers and have missed having my hair done to perfection by Kat. Today I was able to have her do my hair perfectly again after traveling 3 1/2 hrs to see her ! Love love Kat and once again Love Love Love my hair! Thank you soo much Kat for all the time you spent making sure I was happy once again ! Wow you truly are a artist in your field of hair perfection. Since I live soo far it will be awhile until I can visit again but it will always be worth the travel! read more

Kristen continually gives the best hair color and cut I have ever had. The salon itself is beautiful and serene. Every time I go in I'm excited not only for the amazing hair but also for the "me" time in such a phenomenal environment! I vintage sky! read more

Loved Mandy at Vintage Sky. It was my first time at the salon & it was a great experience. She really knows how to work with curly hair. Being from Michigan I was hesitant to have someone new work on my hair, but she really put me at ease. Love my hair!! I can never get it this straight. read more

Carrie took my horrible strawlike hair and worked her magic. Used partial lowlights to tone down the grayness and added much needed warmth. The cut worked with my hair texture-fine and curls! Feels great and it'll be easier to maintain! Loved the salon and the folks were terrific. read more

I am going to start by saying I am very picky about who cuts my hair. I cut it about twice a year and always ask for the least amount off possible. I moved here recently and was in search for a hair salon. I found this cute salon and thought I'd give it a shot. I called in and they gave my appointment to Shayna. She was ABSOLUTELY wonderful! She took her time and was so careful knowing I get nervous about cutting my hair. She asked the entire time how I was doing, what I wanted different, and if I was okay with what she was doing. I was never worried about telling her to change something. I ended up cutting 5 inches off my hair and she put in lots of layers. It's amazing and I love it!!! Thank you shayna!! read more

Excellent haircut by Araena. She listens and takes time to explain what she is doing. Will return for color next. The staff is helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. read more

I've been trying to make a nail appointment since Monday. It's now Friday and I still don't have an appointment. The salon employees keep telling me to call this person and that person. "Oh I'm not working that day please call this person instead". Very unprofessional and a hassle to say the least. I have one free morning this whole month to pamper myself and I hope I didn't miss out on an appointment somewhere else while waiting for vintage to respond and figure out their employee work schedule. read more

I moved here 6yrs ago and have gone about 8 different salons. Most recently Vintage Sky and I am beyond happy with the color and highlights Jenny did for me. Thanks Jenny, you Rock! read more

As a former hairdresser I am extremely selective in who cuts/colors my hair. In fact, I have yet to find someone where I live in Colorado, thus I choose to come to Florida when I visit family and get my hair cut by hairdressers I know and trust. Vintage sky is an amazing salon filled with talented stylists. When I read negative reviews from patrons who clearly hadn't communicated what they wanted effectively, I get very frustrated. I asked for a long layered haircut and for only the necessary dead ends to be removed. I got EXACTLTY what I communicated. Why? Because my stylist took the time to listen while I communicated effectively. Often patrons think they are expressing what they would like, but often don't really know, and then get angry if a stylist tries to interpret said requests. We as patrons need to assume more responsibility rather than writing scathing reviews that read like a toddler having a temper tantrum, but that are ultimately damaging to businesses. I happen to go to Paula, the owner, but I witnessed several great stylists making people very happy. The best part is that they have an incredibly competitive pricing system, and an awesome location. Take the time to drive to Winter Garden, even if you are far away. You can have lunch on the quaint avenue and enjoy the local shops and scenery. Make an afternoon out of it, because you will have great hair, and heavier pockets for fun afterwards! Love to Vintage Sky, because you all are AMAZING. Thank you for providing such great service. I would also like to add that I hope to see my review online, as I have witnessed other happy patrons write reviews in the salon upon receiving their service, and they end up not showing up on yelp. read more
