On September 11, 2021, I was a new client at Wild Blossom Salon. Upon my arrival I was never greeted, it wasn't until my stylist finished with her client then sat there for a few minutes on her phone that she asked me what my name was and introduced herself. When I first sat down in the chair I showed my stylist a picture of the hair color that I wanted to aim for (see attached picture A). The stylist indicated that she most likely could not get me this light during the first session and she wasn't the type of stylist to over bleach which I understood. During the foiling process I noticed she left multiple stands of brown out and I said "Is the brown going to blend in?" In which her response was "ugh no... I'm confused?". I then reiterated that in the picture I showed her the bottom of the hair was all blonde, with no brown left in it. She then said "I'm doing a dimensional balyage, look it up." I was completely speechless as her response was very rude and I didn't even know how to react. I wanted to trust the process and looked up pictures and thought ok, maybe this could work out, it still wasn't anything like what I asked for but I had no idea what she was doing. She continued on and said one spot of my hair was not lightening as much as the rest and applied more bleach multiple times, which confused me as I thought she wanted to see how my hair reacted and not over do it. During the whole process she kept checking her phone because she said she had a client coming in at 3:45pm. Additionally, my daughters and I were never offered a drink or anything of that sort throughout the 3 hour process.. Luckily I brought my daughters each a bottle of lemonade and drank out of their bottles. Once my hair was washed and dried the stylist said my hair was in really good shape and that I didn't need a hair cut, which I wanted no matter what as my hair was uneven and I expressed that. She said "Yeah, we can still trim it up". She kneeled at the back of the chair and trimmed my hair and then took my cover off and sent me on my way. I was never offered a mirror to look at the back of my hair nor did I feel I even had time to examine it as her other client came in moments before my hair was complete and I already felt rushed. I went home not completely thrilled with the results but thinking that I could deal with it. I told my boyfriend everything that happened and he examined it and noticed the displacement, uneven colors, and uneven cut and told me that it was for better words "messed up." (See attached picture B and C)I then texted my stylist and told her about the issues. She stated she could add more dark and light spots to even it out. I told her I didn't want more dark spots as that is never what I wanted. She had multiple excuses as to why my hair wasn't all bleached at the bottom including: "I offer sessions, not 8 hour marathons." It would not have taken an addiotmal 5 hours to bleach the few strands she left out and if she didn't have time she about have rebooked to the correct timing. read more
