Although I appreciate a 15% discount, but not at the expense of 1. Not putting any sort of soap in the water for my pedicure. 2. Using polish that has nail polish remover in it. Therefore, my GEL polish is sliding off my toes. 3.My toe and finger nails are capable of having straight lines. Why are they slanted?? Holiday special pedicure - Peppermint. It was very good. Was not necessarily a fan of how my toes were painted but I was in a rush and didn't feel like addressing it. BEWARE OF TERESA! This is the very first review I ever posted on Yelp, and there's a good reason why Teresa's horrible service drove me to this. Teresa absolutely destroyed my nails. I went in for a removal of the dip I previously had and manicure. What she did instead of soaking my nails to remove the dip as they usually do, she filed them off. And she filed wayyyy beyond the powder that was on my nail bed. She filed so much off that she left my nails with these low areas and extremely think and weak. It's nearly a month after I received this service, and I am still paying the price for her negligence. I can't touch anything with my nails, some of them are so low cut because of them breaking to the point it looks like I bite my nails. THE WORST PART OF IT ALL IS HOW SENSITIVE THEY ARE. Really cute little salon, went in late morning on a weekday as I was running errands. Angie did my pedicure and did a great job. She was very friendly and helped me out when the color I wanted wasn't available. Charged $35 for the pedicure which I feel is pretty standard. They also give out croissants if you want one and they offer water, coffee and juice while you're getting your nails done. Angie was a great nail tech, very fast and efficient. I would not recommend going to this nail salon. I went here recently for a nail fill and the guy completely changed the shaped of my nails from square to coffin. He also did not know how to properly drill my nails he kept burning me with the nail drill. They also made me pay 10$ higher than the price what on there website then disputed me for it. Don't spend your money here ! I got my nails done Saturday May 18th and here it is May 22nd and 3 nails have already fallen off! There should be no reason why I paid 55 bucks just for my nails(didn't even get my toes done) and they are already popping off! I understand why people haven't really reviewed this place. It's old. Really old. It's also not very sanitary. Everything from the chairs, to the towels, and most importantly the tools just seemed really worn. Nothing came out of a package and the nail polish colors were severely lacking in variety when compared to other salons in the area. The manicurists were all very quiet... except when speaking to each other. For some reason they seemed to be very loud even though only a few feet apart. My particular manicurists was not as engaging as I would have liked her to be... this may be in part to the severe language barrier. sigh... Will I go back? Not unless I bring my own tools and polish.Can't willingly put myself at risk for diseases. Would I recommend it? No. Unless you're really desperate for something. I've had a not so great experience with almost every technician in this place...from one male nail tech constantly checking their phone while working on me, to another nail tech speaking to me disrespectfully, to another nail tech completely butchering my cuticles with the buffer (causing immediate bleeding/pain and scabbing days later), to realizing that their equipment is not being sanitized after every use. I tried to give this place chance after chance due to location and price, but my final straw was the attitude and lack of regard to my concerns on my bruised cuticles. I came in for a pedicure and manicure also to get my eyebrows done which were all overpriced. For a full set with short nails/cuffin shaped which i usually pay $35, I was charged $50. Went here on 2/28/2016 for a much needed pedicure ($35) and decided to get a get manicure ($25). When I arrived at roughly 11:25, there were about 4 clients there. I was greeted immediately (by Johnaton, I think) and told to choose my colors. The color selection here is great, the gel colors have matching "regular" polish which is nice. Once I chose my color, I was led to the back where the pedicure chairs are. The very first thing I noticed was that it smelled like cigarette smoke, which I attributed to the older guy doing a pedicure. The chairs are comfy and the massage was great! The woman who did my pedicure did a fantastic job, she even managed to scrub my feet without it causing me to writhe in "tickling pain" (my feet are VERY ticklish and that part generally tickles so much it hurts). My gel manicure was painless, she didn't cut me or anything and she took great care in applying the polish. Here's why I am giving this place 3 stars: It's now Wednesday...a mere THREE days later and the polish on TWO of my nails has now peeled off. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. A $25 manicure should last for a week at the very least. In the interest of full disclosure, I've been here before to get gel fills and they lasted the full 2 weeks and would've likely lasted longer had my nails not grown so much. I'm not sure I'll be going back to get a gel manicure here, though I would go back for a quick pedi. read more
