I can't say that I'll be back. The new owners are cutting corners and it's not the same. The older lady, as sweet as she is, doesn't speak English and she doesn't understand any of my requests. I have natural nails and they're strong and grow fast so cutting my cuticles and using the mechanical buffing tool isn't the best for me. Something as simple as asking for my nails to be filed manually is a huge task as I have to wait on someone else to explain to her what I'm asking. Then she huffs because I asked to manually file my natural nails. If I had acrylic nails then I'd understand the pushback. The other annoyance is that most of the matching gel polish & regular polish are now missing. This is the 2 trip here where they couldn't find matching colors. I normally get normal polish on my feet and matching gel polish on my hands. The new owner came over and asked if I would be okay with 2 different colors this one time, I politely said no. Why would I spend extra for gel to not be happy for the next couple of weeks every time I look at my nails? This last straw for me was that she pulled out tools from her basket which I have no idea if they'd been sanitized or not. I pulled my feet away and asked her to spray it alcohol... sanitizing and making your guests not second guess your cleanliness should be top priority. I've been going to this nail salon for a couple of years and could always count on cleanliness, pleasant conversations, matching polish colors, and a well organized staff. Last time I had pedicure this relaxing and comprehensive was in Asia. Totally hygienic place with a solid clientele of men and women who come here. Vivian was excellent with the pedicure and reflexology. I got the #2 with scrub and massage. So awesome. Sounds prissy but after a long work week this was sooo cool to experience. I didn't intend to visit Debonair Nails but an appointment got pushed back and I was in the area so I figured that I would use the time to relax with a pedicure. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and immediately took a seat to start my pedicure. There is a list clearly posted in front of the chairs that outlines the different pedicures services and the cost. The technician was polite, focused and chatty if you want conversation. He told me that his name is "B." If you want an excellent experience and a strong foot and leg massage ask for "B." The salon was just open when I arrived so things were pretty quiet. They play soft music and have a couple of T.V.'s playing HGTV on silent. There are lots of nail colors to choose from and offer all of the standard additional services. read more

Okay, so I've waited to review this place for while because I wanted to get a few visits in before giving my opinion. After five visits, I can say that this place is great for SNS nails. Each visit, my nails have lasted at least three weeks ... and I'm not delicate with them. They probably would have lasted longer but I just want new color after a while. On my first visit, I was getting hard gel nails and but was talked into trying SNS. I was hesitant because I've had SNS before and wasn't crazy about them. However, they convinced me to try it again and I'm so glad I did. I've never had the powder nails last this long or found someone who doesn't leave little bumps on the nails because they didn't see them or were in a rush. They do it right here! I've seen three different technicians as well and each one does a really good job. I've been super happy each time. I do recommend making an appointment if you can, rather than walking in. They can get pretty busy at times so call ahead! read more

I'm happy that I found a place that does pretty nails at an affordable price. I had a classic pedicure and manicure done. I did feel like the girl tried to upgrade my selections but it's a business so I guess that's part of the job. The staff is polite and professional. I didn't catch the name of the girl who took care of me but she did a wonderful job with my nails. I am very pleased and I love the color. They have a big selection of nail polishes. Showed her what I wanted initially and she couldn't "do it" there was too much lines is what she said‍ there was just three lines so I settled for a long French tip which shouldnt be hard right --wrong. She recommended dip brow instead of acrylic and it was still an overall awful poorly done job. She could barely control her nail machines and would graze me continuously. I was looking for a salon where they would do gel manicures for the right price. I yelped this salon and saw all the good reviews and came in my first experience was good but my second experience was even better with "Na and Amy". They are super sweet and funny, they both take their time in doing each session of service and pretty fun to talk too. Towards the end of each session of service they add a small massage in it which is honestly the best part and so soothing!! All of their utensils are clean and packaged. Very new to the area so i was looking for a new nail salon. Went here since they had the best reviews and great prices. Should have walked back out when I noticed on a Saturday at 1:30 they were completely dead when the other nail salon in the same shopping center was packed. Sat down and asked how much a full set of acrylics were with gel polish, $40. Acrylics with regular polish, $20. Ridiculously more expensive. So I got regular polish. You could tell the woman was mad I didnt get the gel. I could understand $10 but $20?! I can get 2 sets for that. I knew something was wrong when she didn't prep my nails, did not buff the nail, but glued the nail on. She then asked how Short I wanted them, I said on the shorter side, she took out scissors and chopped the nail so short they couldn't do the shape I wanted anymore. Barely did anything to my nails but did a little buffing and that was it. Then she had the nerve to tell me that my color is going to come off if I touch anything because I didnt pay extra for the gel polish. Sure enough it was because she didn't paint them well enough. Just kinda slapped on the polish and that was it, didn't even clear coat the edges. Maybe I didnt want gel that time but if they did a good job I was going to go back and get gel but I can tell you after that, I wont be back at all. 2 days and a nail popped clear off. My coworker and I decided to treat ourselves to pedicure after a long Monday. We called to schedule an appointment, which I am glad we did! There was a lady who was waiting to get her nails done and while we were there, another lady came in and decided to leave. There were only 3 nail technicians working, which I am told is typical for a Monday. I was more than halfway through with my pedicure before another technician was able to start working on my friends pedicure. We both decided on the Honey Citrus pedicure, which I would highly recommend! The service was great and at the last minute I decided to do manicure! The prices are great and the spa is very clean and offers a ton of nail polish options. Both technicians that worked on my nails and my friends nails were skilled and experienced. Hmm, I'm disappointed in this place. The reviews on here are impressive, but my experience wasn't great. I went in for a gel manicure and was assigned to a male manicurist (not sure of his name). He seems bothered and rushed through my entire manicure. He didn't ask me what shape I prefer, he ripped at my cuticles without ever putting cuticle oil on my fingers, and filed all the whites of my nails down. When I tried to stop him, he looked at me, huffed loudly and said "but it's fine." When he was finished with my nails, he got up and left. Didn't say a word to me. It was the strangest service. I really felt unwelcomed and was upset to have to give them my money. I'm not one to cause a scene, so I paid my bill (no tip) and left. I won't be returning. My recommendation is if you get a guy to do your manicure, you ask if there is someone else available. read more

The whole experience was terrible. The tech was complaining the entire time how she wanted to go home and didn't know I was going to get a gel pedicure. I call ahead of time to see if they had the availability and the lady on the phone told me that they did. My sns was done so poorly! I have never had such a bad experience doing my nails before. The sns is so thick and there's areas she missed with the dip powder. I had to correct her over and over again. To the point when she was buffing my nails she was doing it so rough and I believe it was on purpose because I called her out on her sloppiness. I wanted to get the SNS Dip Powder to strengthen my nails but I also wanted a rose gold chrome color (which they did not have or do not make) so Phebe managed to use the Dip for my nails and then top them with the rose gold chrome that I wanted. She did such an amazing job they were better than I even expected. I recommend either calling ahead or making an appointment because they are almost always busy. I absolutely love this nail salon! When I am in Orlando, this is the only nail place I get my nails done and eyebrows waxed. THe price for a mani+pedi is reasonable, as well for the eyebrow waxing. The workers are majority Vietnamese and do an absolutely rockin' job. And at times the workers have cool pedicures that I try on my own tootsies. The place is pretty clean and the workers are sanitary. I have never got a nail infection from here (watch out for cheap asian nail salons....if they do not post their licenses near their work stations BEWARE!!!). I moved from New Jersey in November and decided to give a walmart nail salon a try and had a very bad experience so this time around I decided to put my trust into yelp reviews and boy am I glad that I did. This salon is amazing! Absolutely clean, relaxing and offers more than just nail services, they have lash extensions, waxing, and facials. I came today on a friday and got serviced right away. I had Amy and she treats you like a best friend! Makes you feel completely comfortable right away. I got the debonair (probably spelled wrong) package with a green tea sugar scrub because it came with a complimentary eyebrow waxing. The massage during my mani and pedi was amazingggg. This has by far been my best spa experience. Li gave me a milk pedicure and a gel nail manicure with amazing art! She took her time and didn't rush at all. The pedicure was so relaxing after a long day at work. Everyone was very kind and courteous, and the salon was very sanitary and clean. The atmosphere was also nice and relaxing. So, I really did like this place at first for gel manicures. They lasted about 2 weeks, which is good enough with my workout regimen. Recently I went on a Saturday and got a French gel manicure and I was already wondering about some imperfections during application about whether it would chip (I did address this and he made an attempt to fix it). Regardless, after only 4 or 5 days 4 of my nails had started to chip already. I called Thursday after work and they said to come in at 6pm on Friday. I ended up coming in a little early and the guy was busy so I waited until a little after 6. I didn't mind since I was the one who was early. He removed the chipped nails and we re-did all nails (not French). I had had a terrible stressful day and didn't question anything, maybe I should have. At the end I asked what I owed him, kind of expecting "nothing, this is to fix your chipped nails", but instead I was charged full gel manicure price. I was too emotionally exhausted to argue so I silently paid and left, again, maybe my mistake. But most nail salons guarantee the gel for at least a week if not more. It had been under a week and they were clearly chipping (not just one nail). While the re-do looks great, I don't think I will be returning to a salon that doesn't stand behind their work. This is sad because I really did like how my nails looked here and that they seemed to take care of them well. EDIT: So here's an update to my earlier review. As mentioned I was hoping it was all a misunderstanding. Na contacted me to talk about the experience and offered me a new manicure/gel nails free of charge the next time I come in. We also discussed their policy on repairing chipped/broken nails. When I came in I ended up getting a pedicure and brought a friend and my nails look great as usual. I'm genuinely disappointed - horrendously disappointed - downtrodden, despair-filled, just absolutely destroyed about this experience. I haven't ever been for a manicure, after reading the reviews before choosing a place, I figured they knew what they were doing and I shouldn't question. I was wrong. I went to the salon, showed a reference picture and asked for what I saw in the picture. (picture in gallery) It was for a black manicure with a thin gold stripe. My only change was that I asked for a matte top coat instead of a shiny black gloss coat. I sat down and the lady told me it wouldn't be a problem. She then upsold me on a gel manicure, which I questioned, because I wanted a matte finish but she assured me that she could mattify the gel coat and that if I opted for a gel manicure that it would last much longer. So I said - sure - and then she said that she didn't have gold but had a rose gold and asked if that would work - I said, sure - I can live with rose gold instead I'm not unreasonable, it happens - and so she got to work. 20 minutes later, I'm walking out with a $38 manicure that looks like I did it at home. She didn't use foil for the thin gold stripe but instead opted to use polish and it turns out - the way you "mattify" gel polish, is by taking a cotton ball full of acetone and sweeping it over the shiny gel leaving an uneven finish. The edges of my nails were rough, the nails misshapen, the polish uneven - there was even some left over of the polish I had on BEFORE the manicure itself. She seemed to rush through my manicure to take care of other waiting clients. I would rather have waited an extra 20 minutes and gotten good service than waste my money. I am all for maintaining loyal customers and treating return customers well but who says I wasn't going to be a return customer? The only reason that this review is getting two stars instead of one is that my friend who came with me got acrylic stiletto nails and they are flawless. Her experience with the gentleman who did her acrylics was amazing. She said she couldn't have been happier and he was courteous, genuine, funny and very considerate. She smudged her nail in the drying process and he didn't mind repainting it for her. He was a superstar. Also - her acrylics cost $35 - which I thought was strange considering my regular -albeit gel w a "decal" (if you could call it that) - manicure was $38. I'm not one to try to get something for free - even when I'm dissatisfied and I'd rather not make a big deal and then make the workers resentfully "redo" my nails. That doesn't make me feel safe. I am also not one to skimp on a tip either so almost $100 dollars later, I walked away from this situation heartbroken. This is a great salon for acrylics, a really cute place and maybe my lady was just having a bad day - but now I've got a gel manicure that I have to look at for two weeks that is miserable. read more
