Pedicure gone wrong. I tried to contact the Salon manager prior to this review but I have had no reply. One of the ladies does a good job on my dip Nails. Sometimes there is still a bit of miscommunication though. I had a pedicure with someone different and it ended up being quite rough. I did not know the extent of it until the next day. The pumice stone was used in places where I do not have calluses. The skin was clipped all the way around my toenails, not just the cuticles. In areas that you should not cut unless there is a hangnail. I had asked her not to dig to clean/dig out underneath the toenails. If she felt, she needed to do further cleaning to use the nail brush. She proceeded to use the nail brush all over the top surface of my toenails and allover the top and sides of my feet as a misunderstanding I am sure. At this point , the feet had already been clipped and sanded. The block buffer, to file the surface of the nails from polish stain, was left with very sharp edges and was sanding my cuticle and the skin behind the cuticle several times. I do not bruise easy, have a bleeding disorder, diabetes, or any of the other disorders that something like this might happen very easily to. If I did, this, could be very dangerous. This is four days later and even with antibiotic cream, the areas are still showing redness all the way around. I just want to get with someone that is professionally trained properly. She appeared to be very thorough and gave a really strong leg massage. Honestly, she could be a very good tech with proper training. I truly hope this review spurs them to do so. I would hate for someone to get injured enough that they ended up having to go to a doctor for wound care or worse. read more

As with ALL nail salons you have to get the right technician. I always ask for Ana or Jenny (there's a guy there in seat 5 that does great work also). My nails are ALWAYS perfect...I show a pic and they deliver. I keep my nails short and get acrylic as opposed to dip (I don't care what anyone's read online, it's ALL bad for your nails, lol, I did dip for years...same wear on the nail). I'm in and out for a fill in an hour, when I add a pedi it's only an hour and a half. read more

Could not be happier with my nails. I have been to this salon twice now and have gotten the same woman (forgot to ask her name) but what a gem she is. She takes it so seriously and puts so much time into making sure my nails are the same length, smoothed them out and made sure they were painted perfectly. I showed her a picture of what I wanted both times and wow she got it from a quick glance. I have NEVER had such a good experience with getting my nails done and I can't stop staring at them! Don't bother. With all the nail salons available, this one, sadly, is a waste of time and money. I used to go here pre-covid and come to find out... the two guys that used to do my nails are no longer there. I explained how I wanted my nails done. Not only did she argue with me about it, she painted them crooked and had the audacity to charge me 50.00 for my nails. Did I mention that she watched videos the whole time she was doing my nails? I went here for my first pedicure yesterday, and for my third manicure of my life. I never get my nails done because I always ruin them since of my job- touching cars and car parts. It was a pretty good experience for the most part. The girls that did my nails and my boyfriend's mom's nails were pleasant for the most part. My boyfriend's mom has been going here for years now. I went here for the first time to get my nails done and let's just say I wasn't happy at all. I asked The man if he could do this design from the jump he told me yes and that he would be able to do the length as well. so he gets started and he's doing my nails and I all of a sudden he starts cutting them down really short and now I'm like oh I wanted them a little bit longer and he was like oh I can't do that long of a length. but I was like you know what it's fine I'll try out short nails so he starts doing the design that he said that he could do and all of a sudden he can't do the design it's such a big problem he doesn't know how to do it I need to pick something else. anyhow he ends up doing the design that he couldn't do and we're done doing my nails and I absolutely fucking hated them they were crooked they were leaning and they just didn't look good at all. i'm gonna show y'all what I wanted and what I got so you guys can see why you should never go there read more

Let me first say that my opinion is not against all of the technicians but more against one particular and my overall experience. As one person mentioned, there are way too many choices in orlando and I won't be coming back. If they have time to take care of their clients, they typically do a good job. I continue to come back because of the quality of work. My nails never budge and they last a long time and it's for a fair price. My problem is with the customer service. Today, I went in for a full set and to have a pedicure. I like my nails to look clean and to remove my cuticles and always ask to have them cut but they are never done. I typically let it slide but today, the gentleman who did my nails did not only ignore everything I asked him to do but he even forgot to clean off my nails with alcohol, apply a top coat nor cuticle oil. If I just wanted my nails done without the complete experience I would have done them myself at home. To add to that, they never even did my toes! At the end of it all, all I could do was laugh because I too work in the customer service industry and can clearly tell when people don't care about their customers and I'm okay with that. I just won't ever be back and I won't recommend anyone to come back AND I will ensure people know what happened to me during my experience. If you don't care for service or experience, absolutely come here as they do a good job but I wouldn't go the extra mile to tip anyone. Those who are like me and want my moneys worth including the experience then please don't waste your time here. read more

Bottom Line: I wouldn't go back. There are too many other choices. I would describe the $22 manicure as the same quality and effort my ex husband would put into a foot massage when he knew there was nothing coming in return ;( It was barely a step above a polish change. OK - she washed them too - but there was nothing that came close to "scrubbing". And the massage was non-existent. I kept thinking it was coming then the next thing I realized - she was polishing. I was recommended by a co-worker of mine and took the leap of faith one day and haven't looked back since. Irene is my eyebrow angel- she's sweet, super friendly, and most importantly, she listens and gives me exactly what I want every time. My friend and I are searching for a good place to get pedicures, we decided to stop by here because it was recommended to us by a neighbor. My experience here was just meh.. it wasn't anything special.. I would've given 3 stars because they put the polish on properly and its not chipping a week later, but the woman who was doing my pedicure gave my feet these massive blisters! I'm standing and walking around all day at work in flip flops and I had to leave early the following day because my feet were in so much pain. I first started going to this place when I was in high school years ago but I went recently and got a mani pedi and I did not like the way the girl did my gel mani, she didn't get the corners of my nails very well and the polish just looked cheap. My reasoning, in +/- list form: + very affordable pricing + walk-in availability - sign on window praises having sterile tools, but when asked about a fresh pack of tools for my mani, she replied with a sassy, "it's been sanitized." I asked for fresh tools and she said she'd just taken it out of the machine. At that point, I gave in. - not the biggest selection of colors - their pedi chairs have seen better days + the woman was gentle + killer arm massage + the music playing was coffee house female singers covering blues and seventies rock So I'm still between star ratings.. I've been to a few different nail salons all over the Orlando area and out of all of them I definitely reccomend this place! Li always does a FANTASTIC job with my acrylics, I never have to worry about my nails lifting or breaking. His freehand designs are also amazing! Not to mention that the polish and gels ALWAYS lasts 2+ weeks! I now make the 20 minute drive whenever I need my nails done. He's definitely my go to nail tech. i called and actually asked if they had time for a shellac since i just got off work i just drove from lake mary and i was 5 minutes away at 630 and i saw they closed at 7 so i called- they said yes they had time & i got there and i get someone in a hurry at #6. seemed like a nice girl till she was in such a rush she actually cut my cuticle and made me bleed. still had me pay the full price and did a half ass job on my nails. & not to mention my bandaid on my newly shellaced finger. read more

It may not have been the most gorgeous nail salon I've ever been in but the people were incredibly friendly, they squeezed me in but did not make me feel rushed kindly enough, and did a great job with my nails! I got my eyebrows done as well and it's possibly my favorite I've ever had them look. Okay my mom has been going to this place for 19 years and every time I've gone I've had great service but the last 4 visits have been hell they've know me seance I was born and they been doing a halfa** job. I originally wanted a French on my feet but my toe nails were too small n I didn't like it!!! So I told the lady I wanted to do full color instead and she got snappy with me n told me she was still charging me $27 dollars(French is $5 more) ! I normally get my upper lip waxed here because it is fast and cheap, and is pretty good. Not today. I went in and had someone I've never had before which was cool, I don't care. Except she put the wax on both sides of my lip and pulled it down to my jaw- not cool. And then she didn't put the strip on the middle of my lip so when I got home, I still had wax on the middle of my upper lip. She slowly pulled the strip off of each side, which does not do anything... She did both sides TWICE and then used the same strip for both sides on the second go-around. Finally she was putting some gel on my upper lip and ended up globbing it all over my LIPS. I am pretty sure my skin is going to be raw for a while from the excessive wax and pulling. I am going to have to just try and tweeze what she didn't get (aka a lot). Needless to say, I will not be going back there. read more
