I get my nails done occasionally when I can sneak away, and I just had to come back to update my previous review! I've tried at least five other nail salons in the area over the years for convenience or timing, but Ellen at 436 is truly the best. She's kind, listens, and always delivers beautiful results. She fits me in, works efficiently, and leaves me with perfect SNS on my natural nails every time. I've also seen a few other techs for gel pedicures and have always left happy. Fairly priced for services. I did a walk-in on a weekend morning and they had time to take me in. I got a manicure (powder) and pedicure (regular polish) I believe the total was almost $80 which wasn't too bad. Staff were friendly, cleanliness was ok. I noticed that they did not really disinfect or clean the manicure tables between customers.. I saw that once they finished two women, they let the next round of people waiting come and they didn't sanitize or wipe anything off the table which is a little unpleasant. Went to 436 nails today and at first the customer service was very great. I arrived around 6:05 PM and there was other people inside getting their nails and their toes done. I sat in the first chair and a gentleman. Did my nails mind you they close at 7:30 but as soon as the other guest got done every employee that was a woman left and locked the door behind them leaving only me who is a younger lady and this guy in the building by ourselves, which was already uncomfortable and then I proceed to check out any tells me my total of $70 He added a $15 design charge when I did not get a design I got a full set acrylic French tip. The full set on the board is $35. The French tip is an extra eight dollars plus however, much the gel is. I don't know how that all added up to $70 but he explained he added $15 extra for a design. I have no design on my nails I paid $70 and the nails did not even come out how I want them I do not recommend this place. I was extremely uncomfortable and it was very unprofessional of how they went about things. read more

I had a wonderful experience at 436 Nails earlier this month. I was greeted upon arrival and the pedicure chair was ready for my appointment. For my pedicure, I changed my polish color at the last minute from the chosen blue and requested white. The nail tech pulled the most optic white polish color and it was perfect! When i inquired about a summer color french manicure, the staff was extremely transparent about the cost (more for multi-color). I went with the soft blush base color and hot pink french tips. I was super happy with the finished look. Overall, the salon is clean, experienced nail techs, personable owners and reasonably priced. I will definitely return. read more

Clean salon and convenient location. That's where the compliments end. My nail artists' certification was expired. They wanted to charge me $95 for my acrylic full set with tips, and a $25 design fee. They also put gel polish when I asked for regular and of course charged for that as well. I had a great experience at this salon. My nails looks great almost 2 weeks after getting my fill.y pedicure was amazing! I appreciate their patience with letting me see the Spa Pedicure options. I have sensitive skin and eczema, so I have to be careful with what is used. The 15 minutes message with your pedicure is worth the extra spend, it was just what I needed. The offer a beverage when you get. It would be amazing to have wine. LOL The only reason I did not give it 5 Stars is because the front of the salon when you walk in. This salon is hands down the best nail salon ever! I've been going here for well over 7 years and I've never had a bad experience!! Each and every tech listens to what you want, how you want it, the colors- everything! If they don't have that exact shade, they recommend one that's close! I've never heard them turn down any kind of design! The pedicures are incredible (plus those massage chairs!!) the prices are extremely fair and Ellen is the most incredible nail tech! I get so many compliments on my nails at work. I have an extremely physical job and my nails can break easily. She makes them thick without looking crazy and her artwork is off the charts! Although I don't typically get my nails done, I decided to splurge before a wedding and am so glad I came to 436 Nails and Spa! I opted for a light pink gel nail manicure, and was happy to see an incredibly wide variety of hues to choose from in that shade range. My nail technician was kind and were attentive to details. She meticulously cleaned up my neglected cuticles and carefully applied many layers of gel until my nails were a perfectly opaque pink. I accidentally nicked my nail on the drying lamp and she happily fixed it for me. Despite being so attentive, the manicure was completed quickly, which I really appreciated. I was in and out of the salon within 40 minutes, with no appointment. For $30, I think the service was an incredible value! read more

And she kept moving my feet to make it easier for her but it was so painful to have my feet on that plastic. The towel was not thick enough to do anything. Good selection of colors. They give you a coupon for a dollar off next service if you pay cash. They have a frequent flyer card they check off and after ten visits you get some service free or cheaper, I can't remember. I was impressed with their attention to detail, I'd even use the word fastidious to describe the way he cared for my wife's feet. I finally found a nail salon that I love. Great prices and great service. I've been recommending this place to everyone of my friends. I came in and was greeting kindly and was asked to grab something to drink from the mini fridge, which was included in the price. I had an appointment which I read was recommended. I was pretty much seated immediately after I chose my nail color. I love the fact that the regular pedicure included so much for the price. Then when I was done, I got my sns nails done by Ting Ting. She was so focused on doing a good job, and even gave me a shoulder machine while I waited for my last layer to dry. I can't wait to go back and get pampered. Even after three weeks my nails still look great.
