I had my very first manicure here and they were very patient with me. I then came back for another gel manicure and my first pedicure which was wonderful. They seem sanitary, and had a good selection of colors. They have loads of drink options, and it's a nice big open space so it doesn't feel cramped or dirty at all, which is very much appreciated by a germ a phone who rarely goes to places like the salon. I don't have many other experiences to compare to but overall I am impressed with a royal pampering and am so glad I found them through Yelp (& my trusted Yelp buddies). I decided to cheat on my regular nail tech today and try A Royal Pampering bc of all the reviews on Yelp and being Elite how could I not give it a try. I made an appointment with Priscilla thru the Yelp app but they take reservations on Vagaro also. Priscilla was nice and took her time making sure the pedicure was perfect. Highly recommend her! I found the place quite easily and parked in the Fuddruckers parking lot. From the outside, it may look a little scary to some but inside was very welcoming and I found the atmosphere more relaxing when you have an "appointment only" place vs a "turn and churn" nail place. She came highly recommended by several friends and fellow Yelp Eliters, so I had to see what all the hype was about. I love that I could set up my pedicure via text instead of having to call and play phone tag. Her suite is in a non-descript office building on Fairbanks, and I was a little nervous since that's not what I'm used to. When I walked in, however, I was pleasantly surprised. There was a room to get a manicure in, there's separate room for pedicures, and yet another separate room for massage and waxing. I was only there for a pedicure this time around, and I got to sit in a super comfy oversized chair, one that you'd have in your living room. Her assistant brought me a cup of tea and honey, and then Paula brought in a huge tub of hot water for my feet to soak in. She sat on the floor and worked her magic. Her pedicure appointments last an hour because she is meticulous and doesn't want her clients to feel rushed. Her foot massage was thorough and deep, nothing at all like what you get at a strip mall nail salon. I was so relaxed by the time she was done that I wanted to pay her again to start over from the beginning! We chatting the whole time like we were long lost friends. Her pedicures are a little more expensive than what you'd pay at a strip mall nail salon, but you're paying for quality. I had no issue at all with the price, it was absolutely fair for what I got. I will definitely be back for mani's and pedi's, I may give her a go for waxing (since I'm not loyal to my current girl) and I may try her for eyebrow tattoo feathering (I don't remember the name if what she's doing). Can't even begin to describe how great this place is and how amazing Paula is. I live almost 5 hours away but I was going to be staying in an area north of orlando for a few days and was eager to get microblading done on my eyebrows so I did some thorough research and this place had the best reviews. I read it was appointment only, it was Wednesday and I needed the appointment for Friday so I was concerned there wouldn't be any availability. I reached out to Paula through Yelp and explained my situation. She told me, as I had suspected, that she was booked for weeks but also said that if I didn't mind going in late she would see me after close of business!! I was beyond excited and so grateful that she would accommodate me on such short notice. I got a little lost in the parking when I arrived but I made a call and immediately one of the ladies kindly stepped out to direct me. Everyone greets you when you walk in, everyone is nice. The pedicure area is lile nothing I've seen before and I loved it. Paula was kind, gentle, polite, explained every single step of the process. I had a friend with me and not only did she allow her in the room while she worked but she was telling her all about the process as well. She played reggae which I love but I'm sure she would play something else if you asked. She said I could bring headphones for the touch up if I wanted since many people are bothered by the noise the microblading machine makes. The pain wasn't terrible for me and the noise wasn't that bad either but to each their own. I came across Paula's place after admiring a co-worker's nails for some time and asking about the cleaning practices at A Royal Pampering. You truly get what you pay for and Paula's pricing is truly great especially for what you get (and don't get like the antibiotic resistant infections I've seen from a chop shop). Paula's impeccable standards and meticulous eye for detail apply to the service she provides and the hygienic environment she provides those services in. My pedicures look fresh 4 weeks after they've been done and as a long-distance runner whose feet take a beating that's impressive. I tried a gel manicure for the first time and wow 3 weeks later my nails look great, the growth is the only indicator that they were done 3 weeks ago. I have had nail services done at luxury spas that cost double the pricing at a Royal Pampering and they looked ragged within days. Paula is a great conversationalist and is conscientious of whether you're in a talking mood or simply wish to relax quietly. I love this Salon! The ladies who work here are so friendly and very professional. Linda is the tech who works on my nails and they look so much better than they ever have before! Pedicures are a standard hour and include a leg scrub, lotion, and hot towels! Linda also suggested doing the nail dip as an alternative to acrylic and it lasts 2 weeks plus and has left my nails smoother and stronger! This salon also takes sanitation and cleanliness to a whole new level! Their tools are in sanitizing solution after every client and use disposable products for every client!
