I chose the $42 pedicure. I chose gel, which usually amounts to $10-$15 max as an add-on. When checking out, the lady explains there is a $1 fee for charges over $50 when using a card. She says the total is $57. She then asks if I want to add tip and I say $11 (20%). She pulls a pen and paper to write it down and writes 58+12, already adding two dollars not discussed. My experience was horrible. I came in on time for 3pm on Monday and this man named ben had me…read moresitting in stagnant water for 30 mins. The water eventually got cold so I took my feet out. This man cut my toenails down so low you could see the nailbed. Not only were my toenails too low but they were cut crooked. Common sense would dictate that even though I told him to cut down low, nobody would mean past the actual nail bed. Then he rubbed my feet so hard with callus scrubber that it left a gash on my pinky toe. It is now Friday and I still cannot wear closed toed shoes. Because the sides rub on my toe and it not only hurts but it makes it bleed again. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They hire people who don't know what they're doing and cut you. These asians must not want repeat business from blacks because they are all the time drawing blood from me. I specifically asked the leader to give me someone that would not cut me. And it's not just ben, it's been at least 7 other asians that have made me bleed. I don't have thick cuticles so I don't know what they're cutting so deep for.
