Thank You Mr. Tommy and Ms. Van for making me feel worthy and new! It's so nice to feel pampered and cared for. This salon has been my go to for over ten years. They take their time, they don't judge, no matter how bad my nails look.... They are great when it comes to fixing the broken toe nails and ingrown. Today I came in after not getting my nails done in a few months... I have to admit I don't know how to trim the toe nails properly and they end up awful. Today I was able to come in and get both a mani and pedi. I did the gel on my hands, Mr. Tommy did an inspo design and then regular citrus pedi with regular polish. I am in love with the whole experience and finished look. I feel renewed and so very happy. I am always treated with respect and kindness. weather I come in and Ms. Mindy is available or Ms. Carol, Ms. Kim or her wonderful daughters, Mr. Kevin and of course Ms. Van or Mr. Tommy, I know its going to be in a clean, well lit, well care for environment. Found myself at Kim's Nails while visiting the Claremont area to meet a client. With time to burn, I decided to get a mani/pedi, along with a bit of waxing. No fuss - no wait - Mindy had me quickly seated for the deluxe pedicure. Advertised as a 40-50 minute service - including all the bells and whistles - my service took an hour and five minutes. Covering all the bases, Mindy took additional care with a couple of toe nails that weren't growing properly. Pedicure chairs appear relatively new and provided a great massage. Manicure covered all the bases and took about 25 minutes. A buff finish rather than gloss, I was happy that my nails were cut short as requested. A bit of wax around the ears and I was looking good. Clean establishment and polite staff. Plenty of plexiglass and other safety measures throughout the place. Had I lived in the area, I would return to Kim's Nails. William E. I was in the area and needed a pedicure and manicure. My pedicure seemed rushed, and not done by a professional. I then got a powdered manicure, everything was going fine until she used the electric machine to shape the nail after the powder. She kept getting my skin (which obviously hurt!) and at one point lost control of the machine and hit my ring, I quickly checked to see if there was any damage.. she laughed and said "no problem, it barely touched". My nails were poorly shaped, and left thick and chunky. Lastly, I went to wash my hands after all the powder and there were no towels in sight. I tried grabbing a hot towel they had right next to the sink, and got yelled at by another employee asking why would I get that. I've been to many nail salons and they often offer you a hot towel after a manicure. Overall I had a bad experience and will not return. read more

The guy who did my nails was very rude. Wouldn't speak to me and seemed annoyed that I wanted a design. He cut me 3 times and said nothing when I pulled my hand back and said ouch. My nail beds BURNED when he put the acrylic on so I think it was MMA. I'm a licensed cosmetologist and this was the most unrelaxing experience and it hurt. My friend and I didn't even get sat next to each other. In a pinch they're okay but I definitely won't be back as a client. I rarely ever write a review, today was Mothers Day. I called 3 places, all of which either said no, or to come by another time. I decided to call Kim's nails at around 430. Mind you they close at 6 PM. When I called a nice lady, answer the phone. I asked her if she had time to do a pedicure. She advised me that she would have time just to get there before six. I got there around 5pm. They told me they would be tending to me shortly. I waited around 20 minutes, which wasn't bad due to the fact that I got there late. Finally, they advised me to sit down where they made me feel comfortable even though they were tending to others, I shortly met with a nice woman who did my pedicure and took her time even though they were closing. She then asked me if I wanted a manicure as well. I told her it was OK due to the time she insisted that it was OK. She did my manicure and I could not have asked for a better nail tech. Table #6. The reason for my score, I went for the first time yesterday, April 3. I selected my nail colour and the lady proceeded to choose other colours for me. I know what I want hence the reason I picked it. She didn't listen when I ask her to cut my toenails down and around, she did her own thing. But she had no problem, trying to upsell me on service. When it was time to do my dip I ask her how much to put rhinestones on my nails. She didn't understand a word I said and just did my nails in solid colours. She didn't care that I was in pain when she was cleaning around my Cuticles. Overall, I was very disappointed and I will not return back to this salon. read more

I'm just gonna leave this here and y'all can decide I went to Kim Nails I arrived at 1128 and left at 150 spent 45 bucks on a pedi and full set and was told after all that time that they couldn't do my eyelashes which was extremely disappointing but ok not the end of the world. What sucked was they put me in a pedi chair and forgot about me took clients that came after me forgot about me to the point they had to add hot water because it went cold. I asked for short rounded nails and smh ‍ most of them are slanted, lesson learned I won't be returning that's just my opinion this place is hit or miss some people are good and others not so much ...FYI I still tipped 15% cause I can't be "that" person read more

Clean and helpful! I enjoyed that all of the pedi bowls were lined with disposable liners and all of the tools were wrapped for single use. I went in for a pedicure and did wait for quite a bit (I went the day before Valentine's Day so realistically, I should've known better); however, the wait was definitely worth it. I had a gentleman who listened to my requests (I'm really ticklish in certain parts of my feet!) yet still did such an incredible job! Well today I tried Kim's nails and it was very shitty point blank period. I walked into the store with a friendly hello and I was asked "how may I help you" I said "I would like a full set please" he said pick a color I say okay then in the middle of doing so he's rushing me to pick my color I didn't mind that but then I sat Down in the seat to a lady I ask can u do this she said yes I said okay (it was a powder design) and the whole time I'm sitting there the lady is filing my nails so low that it started burning I ignored that after she finish putting the acrylic and it was time to polish. As she was polishing it was so damn clumpy I was pointing out all the mistakes and etc to her she seems to be blind because it was nonsense going on. Anyways it was time for the powder design now and this lady going to pull out paint omfg I was about to blow I just said can I pay and leave like now! Every one of my nails have air bubbles and look retarded I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone at all! read more

First time here for pedicures with two of my girls. We were greeted at the door and told it wouldn't be long and it wasn't. All metal tools are wrapped for single use. We had excellent service and our feet look and feel wonderful. Only paid $65 for all three of us (my youngest is 10). We will definitely be back. read more
