Pressured to upgrade my pedicure. She called me cheap. This happened in your Clermont salon. It took her only 15 min. The last 2 times I was very pleased. Very unhappy read more

If I could rate it a 0 I would, honestly I'm just over the whole situation that happened today, long story short I asked for a simple thing on my nail, nail tech said no, color is too light it won't show up. Great I'm a simple woman please give me the light color that's what I want. She refused and tried to say she can do something else 5-6 times. I then said no it's okay let me just pay for my nails and go, they then proceeded to keep bringing people up to the front to "help me" which btw no one help. My anxiety couldn't handle everyone trying to help all at once, I asked to pay 4 times at the front and then kept offering things to help. No I asked first for something specific I don't want anything else just let me go. I left in tears and my husband had to go back in to pay for the nail prep and acrylic, no color just plain nails. read more

My mom and I treated ourselves to pedicures, and we were fortunate to be seated promptly. We adore this place because they always have special offers that match the season. On this visit, they were offering fall pedicures, which came with a soothing massage using massage oil from a candle, and they even included a glass of wine to enhance the cozy fall vibes. It was a fantastic experience, and we left with great-looking toes!! We're definitely planning to return for more pampering. I highly recommend it! read more

Been here twice times and both times were treated with kindness. The employees are efficient - even when it's been decently busy my friends and I have been helped quickly and able to sit together. Nails turned out cute for everyone. It's pricy - but not as much as some others in the area. I think It's pretty on par with most other nail salons of this type. read more

Great ambience and very skilled nail technicians. I showed her a picture of a nail design and she duplicated it wonderfully. Can't wait to go back! read more

I had made appointments for pedicures today!! When my wife and I arrived for our scheduled appointments, we were told that they couldn't honor our appointments because they had taken too many walk-ins and still have several with appts waiting to be seen because they had taken too many walk-ins. This is highly unprofessional and we will think seriously before choosing to return here again. Do Better!!! read more

Great experience for me. I got a pedicure and a full set. Needed to remove the powder nails from a previous nail shop. As they were past their prime. The staff took great care of me. They also clean their pedicure bowls every night. Thank you to the friendly staff at Cocoon nails in Clermont. read more

I typically visit the winter garden location but made the drive out here to get pedis with my friend. The decor is rustic and comfortable. I loved their saltwater fish tank! We both got the spooky pedicures for $55 which was amazing. It came with a cinnamon bath bomb, exfoliant scrub, and a warm 15 minute candle massage. They also massaged you for the exfoliant so it felt like a bonus. Heavenly experience all around. They also serve wine on request so that was a nice touch. We really loved it here and will be back for pedis! read more

The facilities are good, the customer service is good, but the service is not very good. I just left the living room to do my hands with gel, and it looks like I've been doing it for 10 days. In the photos you can see better, they moved the paint away from my cuticle a lot. I don't think he'll come back read more

My sister in law informed me that a friend of hers got her nails done here and it was very painful. I needed to get my nails done asap for vacation, and my sister in law works close by.. she needed a ride home after work one day, so I decided to give the nail salon a try before picking her up. ABSOLUTELY loved my nails. Very friendly, kind, and cute nail artist. It's not the fanciest place but the people are great and I love my nails! read more

I walked into the building with a French Mani style that I had from 2 weeks ago that Ken did for me. I was happy with the style so I went back. The lady they gave me literally ignored what I asked for and made my nails pink and the tips blue nothing like a French manicure. When I asked her why she did it she said because my nails are too black. What a racist! I advised you that if you are a black woman and do not come here. Furthermore, the owner insulted my intelligence by telling me that the color is going to change on its own in 4 days. What an insult! read more

I recently walked-in for a mani-pedi and decided to cut my losses and leave after the mani. Frankly, I should have left upon entering and noticing that the energy in this place is off - at least towards me. First off, the tech I was assigned, began rushing me to choose a nail polish color. Once I chose my color, I needed to use the restroom, when I returned, I was assigned to someone else. Again, in retrospect, the energy seemed off with this person - I should have left. However, I sat in the chair for the mani. My new nail tech began filling the tub with hot water before allowing me to roll up my pants. Then, she walked away and in passing, asked me if I wanted 'salts.' When I responded yes, she carelessly threw the salts at my feet, in mid-step (without even pausing). So unprofessional, and also completely rude. It was down hill from there. Overall, my nail tech seemed inexperienced and uncertain of how to provide a pedicure. Mid-way through my lackluster service, I opted for no polish as I just wanted to leave as quickly as possible; and I did not feel like having to go home to remove shoddy looking nail polish (by this point, I had to assume that she would not be able to effectively apply nail polish). After she slathered my feet with an excessive amount of oil, I got up, and slipped and slid my way to the front desk to pay. Again, poor energy from the man at the front desk. I paid, and was relived to leave this establishment. This place has OK decor and the restroom, although disorganized, was clean. Hence the 1-star. Due to the lack of professionalism, poor service, inexperienced and careless nail tech, and toxic energy, I would not recommend this place to any of my friends, family, or even acquaintances. You're better off going somewhere else. read more

We had an appt, but walk-ins were taken in our place. I found out the lady who was choosing people for each person based on service is named Nga(not Joann like she told me). My service started 30 min after my appt and took 1.5 hours as there were 3 technicians(1 didn't understand my requests and caused me to bleed, another who destroyed the shape of my nail, finished them up haphazardly and went back to her customer, and the 3rd was good but I later found out she's still learning and not licensed(also probably why my polish is lifting less than 5 min after leaving the salon). This doesn't even include the absolute rude and unprofessional tounge lashing I got from another tech(Amber) or the customer who was told to sit at someone's station(after waiting a half hour) and waited another 45 min because no one came over and she left. Today was not a good day. Many of the techs were talking about why...saying the owner was out because it was his daughter's bday(he's absolutely able to celebrate...but that shouldn't be an excuse why all hell broke loose(there should be someone competent enough to manage the place...the guy works hard and deserves a break!). Not very happy right now. I actually called the salon and spoke to the lovely receptionist about my concerns and she told me to come in to get them fixed. She brought me over to Nga(who already had an issue from earlier) who started grabbing my hands and telling me I always come back in(I think I've had an issue 3 times in 4 years...it's bound to happen when you go in 2 times a month!). She then told me I need to show the customers around her to look at my nails because I'm "crazy". She refused to fix them. I saw Lam(the other receptionist who actually finished my nails earlier in the day) and asked her to help. She doesn't really know how to do much(her words and not mine). I now have to file my nails from being jagged and hope that the polish doesn't lift any further. I wasn't going to put a review online as I generally have a great experience...but Nga told me I should go on Google(i guess i should add Yelp)...so here I am. My mom is not a fan of this location, and I am, driving 45 minutes to come here(it's usually that good!). Today, I sadly feel very differently. I was also told I should "fight my card" so...I guess that's what I'll do too. To add: all I needed was a file, and maybe some acetone?(however they fix lifting gel). I don't have access to those read more

I like coming here to relax while getting a manicure and pedicure. An appointment is not necessary, but I would recommend making one, they are always so busy. This salon is next to a good sushi restaurant and a movie theater, which makes for a good time out. Ask for Julie and try the hot candle wax treatment! read more

I would not recommend this salon if you're not seeing a select 3 people. The owner, Ken(t)?, and a lady next to him do the best jobs. I've given this salon 3 chances, only once have I come out with nails I was okay with, which was 2 years ago. The other 2 sets have been clumpy and thick. You have to often remind the technicians of what you want, and if you get a manicure I found I had to ask for cuticle work, oil, and lotion, all things included with a manicure. Again, I do not recommend this salon for walk ins or appointments with anyone but the three above. read more

Favorite place to get my toes and nails done. Friendly and know what their doing. One of the ladies remembered my allergy to lavender and didn't put the lavender sea-salts in my foot bath. I've read all of the reviews on here and thought I should give my 2 cents. I have (had) been going to Son, the owner, to have my dip mani done for several years, spending a significant amount of money there. Sadly, though I like Son, he is always distracted by what is going on in the salon. He has opened a new location in Windermere (Winter Garden?) and his focus is on that salon. He travels a good bit with his family (to very exotic and expensive places) and I have lost my confidence in this location. When I go for a gel pedi, I always make an appt with Tina. She is friendly and competent. I no longer get the good massages that I used to as they tend to rush. All in all, I would say this place has gone downhill since he opened the new location. read more

I've been coming here for years. Over time the quality of service has decreased big time. The last time I was in was the worst nail experience I've ever had. The nail tech put the wrong color on my nails, she filed my nails so thin that they peel and tear, which has been painful. I'm so disappointed. I've tried to call to discuss this with the manager, but the line is perpetually busy. read more

My sister, my mom, and myself were all gifted gift cards to this place so we went one Saturday as a walk in to get pedicures. It was an hour wait which was fine so we left and came back. We were seated immediately and the first tech to approach was pretty nice and understood what we all wanted. My sister and mom got started almost right away while I had to wait a while for my tech to come from the back. She rushed out and I told her I wanted the basic pedicure (listed on their price list) just with gel polish. I had to reiterate that a couple times because she seemed confused.. she did a decent job on my feet but she wasn't taking her time. When getting a pedicure you don't know if they are giving you gel or not until the end....... and in the end she still did not do what I asked of her which was gel.... she finished and rushed away. She didn't even give me a pair of the disposable shoes to put on so I just sat there.. To make things more clear they should just have gel listed as a $15 add on to the regular pedicure because me saying "I just want the basic pedicure with gel polish." clearly was not translating and I see how that could be confusing for anyone and the language barrier didn't help, plus every time I said it she was almost like brushing me off in a way. I never get gel on my toes because my pedicures usually last quite long....... it's been about 2 weeks and it's already chipping. ‍ It was an ok experience for it to technically have been free since I had the gift card but I'd never go back. read more

I liked this place. The environment was very peaceful and nice they had a steady flow of people coming in however we did not have to wait no be seen. I had a full gel set and my technician really took her time and was very precise with my set o was very pleased I showed her age color I wanted and she got as close as she could get, I was impressed. However full set for my daughter and I was $84 I thought that was a little pricey usually nail shops are about 30 to 35 each for gels. read more

I chose Cocoon after hearing good things about them. I made an appointment to have acrylic nails put on and for my 5-year old to have a mini-manicure at the same time. Son did my nails and explained the different options. We decided on acrylics with gel. They are perfect and beautiful! He is exceptional! Have been here numerous times and often see Julie. Made an appointment to take a friend who visited with me all the way from East Africa this week for a mani and pedi - Saw Bella and Dianna - so disappointed with both ladies - They talked so much that Diana did a half ass job on my friend's feet. Didn't take the time to scrub - showed no enthusiasm for doing a good job plus there was a price increase with nothing new. I am done! Need to find a new salon! read more

Waited 10-15 min for a seat (no big deal). Got a gel manicure afterward-- but 2 days later it's already peeling off. I've washed some dishes and done some minimal typing for work. That's a little ridiculous. This is not worth $25 read more

I think the only good part was that I was seen right away...or maybe that was my sign. I felt like they were trying to get everything done in the fastest time possible and not really working towards quality. There was a time when getting a regular manicure was good enough - now they look down on you if you don't want GEL. Seriously...for the money and time they give you - you might as well go to Walmart. The people that worked there were nice but the person who did my nails did such a poor job. I am not sure I will be back- although my friend says she has her person there that does a great job. read more

Before I start I do want to say I have had a pedi done here with no issues.... one bad experience spoils it all...So my nail tech did ok on the shape of my nails but did not clean up the polish that got on my skin and did not clean up my cuticles she also did not talk to me the whole time but asked me to move over in the middle of my nails being done so her next person could sit down to pick her color like really on top of that she talked to the lady the whole time while finishing up my nails.. she sits in the chair close to the wall in the first row when you walk in the door I did not get her name because she didn't say anything the whole time, also did not mention that my shape was an extra $5 just assumed I knew but I never pay extra any where else for coffin shape never going back. Honestly the owner doesn't even deserve a star. Had my nails done 1 week ago for my sisters wedding paid extra for the "dip" on my nails. Joanne one of the nail techs told all 7 of us that it is exactly the same as gel. So we all Assumed it was including pushing ur cuticles back!!! I even told my nail tech needed them pushed back and cut. Hence the reason why I go get ur nails done to begin with so they look good. Well after a week my nails look like they grown out 3 weeks only bc I pushed the cuticles back my self and cut my hang nails . Went back in my first opportunity since having them done and the owner told me sorry I am not getting what he's saying . They only way they would fix it is if I paid the $45 again and oh the extra $5 to push my cuticles back!!! Just for everyone's references they don't to a manicure either no lotion no massaging no pushing cuticles back Or cutting hang nails with the dip nail polish On the back of their brochure it states customer service satisfaction guaranteed big fat LIE.!!!! read more
