I've been going to Venice Nails for quite a few months and was very happy with Holly. When I called for an app't,, I was told she quit, but I he assured me I'd get the "best" tech. My pedicure was rushed. Did not get the sea salt scrub or the lotion massage I paid for. When I had my new fill for my nails, I had a different tech. He did a good job, but did not clean the inside of my nails. Totally disappointed. read more

I have never had such a bad experience at a nail salon and ive been to plenty. they were rude, and did not listen to what i wanted at all. the man who took care of me refused to do the shape i wanted and yelled at me for asking to shape them how i had asked (and also showed a picture of) i wa sso embaressed i cried.. they have absolutely no customer service skills, my nails are bumpy and poorly done. i truly feel like i was treated so differently because i am a 22yr old with lots of tattoos and piercings. i was kind the whole time and kept my composure but still would never recommend. this nail salon has always been terrible and when i saw new owners i thought maybe id try again. i know they will never respond and/or reemburse me for my poorly done nails and their disgusting attitude. read more

I stopped by without an appointment. I had a picture of what I wanted - a pretty basic American manicure. There was a bit of discussion among the staff on how to do this which made me uneasy but I stayed. The end result (see picture) is great but not what I was looking for. The salon is pretty and clean, with comfy customer chairs. I did feel it was a bit pricey. It was a bit different than other local salons as I wasn't offered a drink or anything. I wasn't able to relax and enjoy what was supposed to be an hour of pampering. The technician not speaking to me at all, rather engaging in conversation in another language with someone across the salon. She also had a wart on her hand in a spot that my hand was supposed to rest on as she painted my nails. With no glove on. In hindsight, I probably should've left but I'm prepping for an event and am short on time. The work she did was good but not what I wanted and was stressful for a pampering service. read more

I travel back.and forth from NJ. I use Melissa the previous owner. When she sold she gave me her cell very secretive. The first time I went to her she said my current set was bad and convinced me to take off. I left pay 100.00 for removal and replace. Ok I paid for the service. This last time she said your acrylics are thick and some are lifting. She proceeded with the fill which included cutting away the lifted edges and filed my nails thinner asking Mr if it's ok to do it the way she does nails. I was ok with that. She whispered to me it will be $60 instead of $40 because she had to file them down. I told her it's all part of my fill. She said no took longer. Mind you they were not overly think. I told her I will go else where and complained to the owner and left. I feel she does this to a lot of customers. She should have discussed this prior if that was the case. I've been getting my nails done for 40 years and this isn't done. A fill is everything unless you have a broken nail or a replaced nail and if your a regular they don't charge. I understand you need to make a living but this is unethical. So going elsewhere. Just a heads up read more

The first clue that this was not going to go right was when the old crone who was going to do my manicure didn't bother to change the gloves that see had worn all day. That and the fact that she didn't seem to be able to trim my nails correctly. The equipment they used to file and shape my nails were worn out, please people, by a new nail file for gods sake. For what you are paying for the service you receive, go somewhere else and get it done right. Won't be going back and will recommend to my friends and coworkers to go anywhere else. This is the most unfriendly place I've ever been!! My daughter was treated very poorly. The person who did her nails was rude and rough and didn't care what she did. If I had known it, I wouldn't have paid for the service much less given her the generous tip. No one would pay for a poor product: why pay for ugly service ?? The person who did my nails was only ok, and sort of blasé about the service... and not at all friendly. We won't be back! I tried to give them benefit of doubt but never ever again I actually lost a nail in 4 days called my nail tech didn't respond till 4hrs later went to another nail tech in groveland they explained my nail is damaged I said no way I literally haven't done my nails in 3 months they said whoever did my nails then filled to much & almost went to my skin now I have to wait till it recovers my toe nails are crooked one side is glossy the other side big toe isn't cause she was rushing out that day & forgot to put gloss on it my eyebrows are crooked very uneven & yess I reached out to Mellissa to tell her she said you knoe I was rushing that day but yet they charged me $115.00 for full set eyebrows & gel polish on toes management also reached out said I shouldn't blame them but if you manage you also take responsibility for who works for you sorry Mellissa but really very disappointed in your work this is the second time no more chances read more

Melissa did my nails for me when I went to Central Nail Salon, she asked me a series of questions and then got right to work on making my dreams come true! DANGER DANGER STAY AWAY!! horrible to deal with. we had been going for some months and it was excellent. the person who usually did my nails was not in so someone else did them. it was a guy who filed my GOOD REAL NAILS TO THE BONE. i told him repeatedly to STOP and do what i ask, he said he knows his job. i called when i got home i was in such pain and at least 7 of my nails were bleeding from his cruel handy work. RUDE RUDE NASTY. PLUS did a terrible shape i asked for a certain shape and he just did want ever he felt like. he said he would fix it, but i went in (3) times because they even said they would charge me AGAIN to fix their mess up!!!!!!! i show them not to touch the natural nail bed well this guy filed them all. my fingers were rare for weeks and still are. i have one nail still with BLOOD in it from this jerk filing them to the bones of my hands. he was nasty rude, said HE KNOWS what to do. WELL you best learn who the customer is. I highly recommend everyone to stay away too bad there are some great techs in there, but you never know who claims their a pro and they are terrible, do not listen to their customers. up to you if you want to take this chance. never again. i think also he saying OH come on in and i will fix them and the shapes every nail differently!!!!!!! sound round some square some OMG ridges in them. they said they would do them over and all he did was file them worse than before. The manager and everyone here are very friendly, I always feel so welcome and relax here. Their services are really good. They frequently have coupons, discounts and such... I went to this place because of the reviews and was so amazed by Helen. She did an amazing job in fixing my crooked acrylic nails that another place had messed up by rushing. I gave this a 4 Star because I returned and someone else attended to me, since Helen was on vacation and I had her take off my fake nails and give me a manicure with a blue gel color. She didn't do a good job and I didn't really feel like paying $35 dollars for it. To top it all of I gave her a 5 dollar tip, not because I felt that she deserve it but because I know she tried. I can't wait until Helen arrives, she is the best so far, and don't think I will go to anyone else!!! read more
