I love a good dive bar, and Kilo Bravo fit the bill. I found it browsing on Yelp while in the area. I originally was hoping for a frozé, since it was a sunny and warm November day, but they were doing a boozy Frosty instead, with cold brew moonshine. So glad I got that, because it was delicious! It came in a yellow cup with a branded Kilo Bravo sticker that made it look like a Wendy's cup - it was super cute and kitschy. We didn't get any food but they do have a menu of burgers, sandwiches, wings, etc. The tap list was pretty decent, and Nate got a stout that he enjoyed. We just sat at the bar and hung out for a bit watching the TV, which was showing some great throwback music videos. We also chatted with the bartender, who gave us some great recommendations for other bars in the area, including the Levee, which was another awesome dive bar. They had some good drink specials here, like 3 Jello shots for $5, pitchers of beer, etc. - I definitely would stop by again if in the area, and if I lived nearby, this would be one of my go-to spots.

Interesting bar, I came with my friend to redeem our Tipler cocktail, which was a froze with a watermelon topper. The froze was nice, it had a bitter aftertaste towards the end. I was a bit off when I noticed the bartender gave a larger serving to another group with the tipper and he gave Jell-O shots to everyone but us. He also mentioned how he loves when people come in with the tippler because they leave large tips. Not sure if he was being sarcastic or not. The bar is cool, the bartender on the other hand is not. Check this place out if you're looking for something low key!

Stop in here last night for a couple beers and maker mark shots to kill time while my girlfriend treated her mom for her birthday a block away at Spa. And by law I had to order something off the menu I opted for seasoned curly fries of course! Very crunchy like I like and seasoned well. Outdoor dining was available as well as indoor dining. It was just me. I opted to sit in a cozy social distance corner in the front. Temp was check, tracing form complete, sanitized upon entry and I was on my way. Katy was helping me a first and she was super sweet and then I didn't catch the bartender name that replaced her, but she was very attentive because you could barely see me and easily forget I was there. Overall experience for my quick drop in was 5 star treatment OH! I can't forget the free Makers Mark winter hat Hopefully when I am back in the area I have time to stop by again.

The Hot Toddy was warm, unsweetened tea. No honey. The cinnamon stick didn't help.

I've been here multiple times and each time has been worse than the last. Pros: spacious inside, bar staff is friendly Cons: Cocktails aren't good, food is hit or miss, cell service is spotty (ask for their wifi) The food is bar food. The buffalo cauliflower (that they call "vegan wings" are good. The buffalo wings however taste really gritty which makes me question the freshness. As for drinks, I would stick to beers because actually cocktails are rarely good if they require more than 2 ingredients. This is clearly a neighborhood spot, but there are better places in the area that have better food & drinks within the same price range

Found it to be dive bar- food not good. Messy and can do better. Not sure why not better organized ....

This place has seriously fallen off! I came here with a friend to redeem my Tippler drink, their "signature" Beam Me Up, Toddy on (11/5/21 around 7 pm) . We also ordered other food and drinks off of their menu. The Tippler drink was extremely underwhelming. It gave me boiled lemon water vibes. When I told the bartender that I no longer wanted the drink; she told me I couldn't send it back because it was free. I told her I was well aware and was sending it back because I wouldn't drink it. I then ordered the Spiced Hot Cider drink. The bartender handed me a cold cup containing a cold drink. I sent that one back and about an hour later was provided with a lukewarm drink. I observed the bartender making the drink and these were the steps: 1. A clear liquid (what I hope was liquor) was poured. 2. The cider was then pour, 3. Hot water was then added on top. 4. The drink was not mixed at all (hence the separation in the picture). While handing me the lukewarm beverage, the bartender stating that if the drink wasn't hot enough for me she would provide me with a hot cup of water on the side to add to the already watered down drink. I declined. As for the food, that was also underwhelming. My friend ordered Buffalo wings and the sauce was almost paste like and gritty. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and those were extremely salty. While asking for the check, I observed the same bartender yelling at a customer and then apologizing stating she thought he belonged to another party. Since when is it acceptable to yell at customers. The serve was horrible and the food and drinks underwhelming. Despite this I still tipped the bartender. Kill them with kindness as they say. Hope she learns her lesson. This place will never receive my business again.

Came here with my best friend for her tippler. The place was packed. My friend got her tippler drink which was a hot toddy that was luke warm‍. The bartender said she gave to her hot which wasn't the case. And it didn't taste like anything but colored water. We also had Buffalo wings and mozzarella stick. Both underwhelming. I had the hot apple cider taste like juice.

The veggie wings are delicious! As are the regular wings (back from when I ate meat). The hot sriracha is perfect the hot sauce regular is also tasty. But if you like hot with a tad sweet go the sriracha route! Both kilo and it's new sister bar - echo bravo are delicious, good drinks options, and always the nicest staff!

I stumbled upon this place while visiting Federoff next door for a sandwich and when I tell you I'm glad I did and I'll definitely be back to try some more of their drinks and food options. I saw pig wings and funnel cake fries so I'm sold I'll be back lol. I got 2 boozy snow cones that I was told would have my elbows numb. It definitely had me tipsy. I also want to come back to try their Jell-O shots and other frozen drink options they had.

Beware of the "Customer Service Fee", they do not post this prior to ordering. Why are we subsidizing for them? Whats next, winter heat tax?

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. It is too bad Yelp doesn't allow half stars as I would honestly put this one at a 3.5 and am rounding up. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind. Our waitress pointed these two out to us and we're grateful for her guidance because it was spot on. Paying for bread at a Solomonov joint is odd. No dessert menu is odder.
