Echo Bravo is your spot for wings and beer; though, other food is on the menu. I stopped here upon the recommendation of a woman who works at Lucky Charlie and she was on point. The wings here are great, as is the atmosphere and people. Good people working here provide great service and good patrons who will not be strangers if you come alone. This is a place where you don't have to know anyone to have a good time. I arrived around 9 or later on a Saturday night, walking from Lucky Charlie. It's close to the Jefferson stop on the L line. Echo Bravo sits on property that has a triangular front with the entrance on the left. There is a covered area of permanent outdoor seating in front and this would be a prime place to enjoy beer and wings and these wings are good, very good. I believe I have found my place when I have a craving for wings and beer. Wings in NYC are difficult to find when looking for quality wings at a fair price. These wings at Echo Bravo are great traditional Buffalo style wings and you can order them extra crispy as I did. The large order is twenty pieces at $37. This is still steep in my opinion (totaling$60 w/a beer, taxes and tip), but they are good. Moriarty's in Philadelphia comes in around the same price point for a large order, but it's the whole wing and is served on a large oval platter piled high for a comparison. So far Echo Bravo serves the best wings I have had in NYC, save for International Wing Factory UES, but those come at a steeper price point. I had them serve me half the wings at the bar and pack the rest for home. They did so, including carefully wrapping the celery and carrot sticks and including the blue cheese dressing that has chunks of blue cheese, yes substantial chunks. The celery and carrot sticks were fresh and crisp. The wings were the smaller bone sections, but were extra crispy and the sauce was the real deal, tangy, and plentiful. The flavor of the wings goes to the bone and they may be brined wings. I ordered them at the Hot level and that was perfect for me. The small square bar napkins are insufficient, but they have as many as you desire and they also have plenty of wet naps at the ready. So no worries. They have three flat screens behind the bar, another row of high top seating behind the bar stools and further back are other chairs and two/three topper tables, with other tables just inside and to the right of the entrance. There are plenty of seats to watch the screens that surely must go quickly for the big games and matches. The outdoor seating must be great during the Summer. Echo Bravo shares common ownership with Kilo Bravo and I would expect similar qualities there. The woman at Lucky Charlie recs Kilo Bravo for wings as well. Service was great and the bathroom was clean. Echo Bravo brought the receipts this Saturday night! Four stars! read more

I've come here a lot and o like the bar itself and had happy hour beer great price but I had probably the worst wings in my life! They were swimming in some greasy yellow liquid and they were so old and dried out, it was busy and people were eating so I don't know why they were like that, I'll go back for a drink but I'll never eat their again, horrendous read more

At 9 PM, it wasn't too crowded and my group of 7 was able to grab seats at a table together. The music was a little loud, but it wasn't that much of a struggle to have a conversation. I had a shot of Tito's and some of a friend's beer. I'm typically not a beer person, but I was actually able to drink this beer. The shot wasn't too overpriced compared to shots at other NYC bars. Came here after a show. It's in a busy area, lots of nightlife and people about. It's a fun area. This place has indoor & outdoor seating, & street parking wherever you can find it, which is NOT easy in the area. It's kinda loud, & is basically a dive bar with an outdoor area. Not a crappy dive bar though, it's still a fun environment. The food was typical bar food. Wings, Burgers, Fries, Onion Rings, etc. it's made to order, so it's not just sitting under a heat lamp. We both had the Double Smash Burger. It was very good. The drinks were also good & not watered down. It's more of a place you'd go with your friends to act up & let loose. We can after seeing a show, so we were WAY OVER DRESSED for this place, lol. read more

We stopped at this restaurant in Brooklyn while on a tour of the Burroughs. There weren't many options in the area besides pizza, Italian, food trucks, etc., and I was looking for wings. I only had about one hour in the area; therefore I was appreciative of the quick service. We arrived right at opening; it was empty with one bartender. There was plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside. The area felt safe (important as a tourist), and the inside was just like most bars but all of the light from the windows is a nice touch. The wings were very good: fried well, with good sauce. I also ordered a slushy-like liquor; it was okay. Need to add a shot to actually feel like it's not just a slushy. I came here as part of the Tippler deal and it is one my new favorite places to visit. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I ended up coming here on the night they were doing the Oscars. They gave a jello shot for anyone that guessed a winner correctly. This place is a little hard to find based on which street you enter, but it's worth the trek! Highly recommend coming here soon. Actually have been to this spot a bunch of times before with a recent visit, I finally tried the food. The Chicken sandwich was on point, Got to try a few wings since that was what my friend ordered. Bartender say was very friendly the last time in August 2023 on a Tuesday night. There was karaoke, I usually do 80's selections but this time just did not. Frozen John Daly was an amazing drink, got this as part of the Tippler book. Tecate beer is more of a normal every day order from me at this spot. I say check this place out, definitely try the food, Burger or wings and fries with a beer seems like the way to go almost any time of day. Hand down one of my favorite dive bars in Bushwick - it has now become almost a ritual to stop by Echo Bravo before heading to a concert / show in the area. It is a really fun vibe, they have a great selection of drinks (beer, seltzers, spirits), have a frozen spiked cold brew, a wheel to spin (for $1) with fun prizes (like funnel cake, jello shots, etc.), And some of the best bar snack mix I've ever had. Also their regular food (wings, pretzel fries) aren't half bad either. One of these days I'll eventually make it to their brunch as well. At first, it was a shakey customer-bartender interaction. I guess I was intruding on a conversation between her and her fellow peers at the bar counter by being a guest. One of my favorite joints in bushwick. Their "Crack mix" is a great table snack (pretzels, Cap'n crunch, fritos, cheese balls, cheetos) and drinks are decently priced. It's a dive bar, so that's the overall vibe, but we love to come and have a few drinks before going out. read more

I spent a great Saturday here with a group of friends watching March Madness games. There was plenty of room and the bartenders were SO nice. Being dog friendly is an added bonus! The wheel is fun, and they have some games like Uno. The jello shots are delicious, and the cold brew moonshine frosty tastes like the real thing! Cute bar/restaurant in Brooklyn. Love the decor and the 90s music they were playing when we went for brunch. Wings and burger were great as were the prices. We got the unlimited mimosa brunch and our glasses never went empty. Mimosas were on point and didn't have too much OJ. We stayed for a few post brunch drinks and had a great time. My partner and I did our X-Mas gift exchange here on a Sunday and Whitney took care of us. She was an amazing host! She let us know upfront that the kitchen was backed up with a lot of online orders but her kindness and sense of hospitality assured us we would still have a great experience. Came here with a few of my friends a few weeks back. Have been to this bar several times for before-dinner drinks and wings. Nothing remarkable, neighborhood joint. But our most recent encounter will ensure that any in our group of 8 will never return. As soon as we entered the bar, the large, male-presenting server/bar-tender in a tank top and hat rolled his eyes and turned the other way. When we asked if we could get seats for eight, he rudely snapped "sit wherever the f*** you want, b****". We did, and initially brushed his off putting attitude to a bad night for him. We ordered with another bartender who was pleasant. But when the male bartender brought out our food, he dumped the food without asking who ordered what. My friend WHO IS DEAF and hard of hearing asked what the item in front of her was, and the bartender snapped back, again rudely, "b**** stop playing with me, this is the s*** your ordered". We weren't accusing him of getting the order wrong, but simply wanted to confirm this was the right item. Anyways, won't be coming back. read more

I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this place during the Autumn Tippler. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire visit here. This place is nothing but good vibes, good food, and good drinks. I came with a friend and we decided to revisit our childhood but with a twist. We ordered The Bravo Box (which is an adult happy meal). The Bravo Box comes with your choice of sandwich, curly fries, you choose between a mini can of beer or the Whiskey Infused Cookie, and a prize. We both opted for the Smash Burger and cookie. Soooooooo good. Now for drinks: the big kid in me of course needed to try the Boozy Snow Cones. It did not disappoint. It definitely makes for the perfect summer drink. The food sucks depending on what you get. Customer service was subpar but she tried her best. If you serve coffee without cream , sugar or a spoon and have to ask for all three I'm not coming back. You know maybe this wont win any points for those expecting a fancy dining experience with proper ambience, but if you like wings and sports then you wont mind this place at all. It is a kind of "hole in the wall place" but with a bit of character that makes it more friendly than your fratbro-having bars. The food is what you might expect: good and unhealthy. Wings, burgers, fries, etc. Very good but don't expect to find much in terms of antioxidants in your meal. I live in the neighborhood and just came to this spot for the first time. I am so disappointed with how we were treated at this establishment. We bought a round of drinks, cauliflower wings and some Impossible burgers. Cauliflower wings were good. Our impossible burgers came out as double burgers (regular beef patties) we noticed right away and went to tell the bartender of the mistake with the uneaten burgers and fries. My partner thought he may have ordered wrong but wasn't sure, since he confirmed the rest was vegan. The bartender said she would send out the impossible burgers and had a slight attitude but said that it was fine. We tipped over 20 percent and thanked her profusely for correcting the mistake. We all work in food service (I'm a manager of a restaurant myself) and we all understand that mistakes happen. As we were leaving the bartender chased us out and made us pay the full price of two additional burgers. I have never in my Life experienced paying for two whole uneaten meals like this.
