    Steak frite

Steak frite is delicious. Thin slice, really tender. My wife loves the fries. Chicken nuggets is pretty tasty. Got the spicy garlic dipping sauce. Will need to go back to try some other sauce. There is dj playing. The place is pretty busy on a Wednesday night. The only downside is the drink. I didnt like the drink. Forgot the name, has the word express...

I think they are recently under new ownership. Not that I had been here before but in case you have, there is a brand new cocktail and food menu. My friend wanted to come check this place out friday evening because he knew someone that cooks for them. Food menu is from Lori Jayne. I ended up trying 2 of their cocktails: The Mezzy Espress: Mezcal Reposado Tequila, Ango Di Amaro, Have a Nice Day Espresso, Mr. Black Coffee Liquor, and Simple Syrup. As well as the Black Betty: Makers Mark Bourbon, Fresh blackberries, basil, creme de cassis, egg white, and lemon juice. Both cocktails were absolutely phenomenal but my favorite I'd go with is the black betty. I mean the egg whites (they use fresh eggs) sold it for me but the flavor on this drink is killer. We also split an order of their chicken nuggies with their black garlic sauce. Those were insanely good and juicy plump pieces of chicken. None of that fake chicken crap with congealed meat. My friend got as well their sliced hanger steak with sauce over fries. I think it was a pop up special that he specifically came for. Tried a piece and it was pretty amazing. The decor is kind of a low key punk neon night club vibe. They said it gets more crowded later at night and live music and djs occasionally plays there. They had a bunch of lights and smoke machines and stuff but I was more enthralled by their ornate parrot lamp shades.

Get drinks, listen to music, support the kitchen. Say hi to Sam. Tip heavy. Come visit this dive and enjoy the company and the live music. Mostly punk rock bands it's worth coming for some of their signature cocktails which are quite a bit of work to make.

Great addition to the neighborhood - cool vibe, decent prices and the food menu looked really good (though we didn't end up eating). There was some sort of event they were holding while we were there with some awesome local DJs. Definitely plan to come back!

I love this bar. Always a great vibe, great service, and end up thrashing on the dance floor.

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

Came here on a quiet weeknight by a total mistake!…read more We came to grab some drinks at the rooftop bar and catch the sunset and gorgeous views. When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

I've never ate here, but I recommend grabbing drinks during the summer months when they open the canopy. It's a nice rooftop feel. However, I went on a fall Saturday night and the place was completely empty. I walked upstairs and even wondered if the bar was open due to a chair blocking the entrance. If I didn't ask the waiter if they were open, I would assume they were closed and would've left. If it was near closing hours, I would understand, but it was 2 hours prior to it. Regardless, this place is great. It's extremely spacious and offers a high quality dining/drinking experience.

It is too bad Yelp doesn't allow half stars as I would honestly put this one at a 3.5 and am rounding up. While the quality of the elevated seafood bites is immaculate, they are just that: a bite or two of food, for an elevated price considering the amount of food you get. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind. Our waitress pointed these two out to us and we're grateful for her guidance because it was spot on. Paying for bread at a Solomonov joint is odd. No dessert menu is odder. Wheelchair access details: The bar is on a terrace. The accessible entrance is through the Hoxton hotel. A staff member will take you through the k'far kitchen and up via a service elevator. No barriers once you are upstairs and plenty of accessible outdoor and indoor/outdoor options, including a small length of wheelchair height bar. A perfectly functional though unexciting wheelchair accessible restroom is available.
