I used their wash/fold services specifically to clean my bed comforter. I dropped it off on a Friday it usually only takes a day, and when I went on Saturday it still was not ready and I found it hanging to dry on a rack in the front of the laundromat where anyone could touch it. I went back on Sunday and it was in the same spot and still not dry. I decided to take my comforter home at that point because it was still humid and not clean since it was literally right next to the entrance of the business for a whole weekend. This place sucks. The washer got stuck and didn't do the spin cycle. They wouldn't even help by just providing the spin cycle, they said "ok I don't know" "sorry". I said can You I speak to your manager? She said he's not here. I said can you please call him? She said no. I said you don't have a key to start it over. Again I got a no. So I had to wring all the cloth to remove the water. Water was all over the floor. I said, "can you please clean it up so someone doesn't fall. She laid two towels down....I was there for a 24 minute cycle and a 4 hour dry. So instead I had to spend a lot of money (40.00) to dry cloth. Service is terrible. Place is dirty and they didn't even have HAND SANITIZER. DONT GO!!! Funny after I posted this...she comes up and says, my manager called and he apologizes for what happen and asked me to give you money back. Washing and folding service requires a minimum amount and they charge by the pound. The ladies that work here do a great job remembering your name and helping out. If something isn't right, they correct it fast without any issue. Prices are reasonable and your clothes come out perfect every time or they make it right without hesitation. I would highly recommend you to use them for your washing and dry cleaning needs. Clothes normally take between 3-5 days to get dry cleaned depending on when you drop them off. The lady that is working tonight hasn't been there very long, but she is always closing early. The last time I went to wash, I was finishing up the wash cycle at 9:20pm and she came up to me telling me they were about to close. I recently moved into a place without a washer and dryer. At first, I had a moment of panic wondering how and where I would find time to do my laundry, and then decided to look for wash and fold services. I mean, I hate doing laundry anyway, so this IS a good excuse. After a quick search for places nearby, I came across Killian Laundromat. Saturday morning I decided it was time to see what this was all about. I brought in 2 big bags of laundry - one of clothes and one with sheets and towels. They asked if anything was delicate or required special care and weighed everything out. At $0.95 a pound for the clothes and $1.50 a pound for the sheets, my trip was just under $30. I had the choice to do same day pickup for an extra charge, or pick up the next evening around 9pm. I went with next day service and got a call Sunday around noon that it was ready. Everything was sorted and folded, no surprise charges, and saved me a few hours of time. Definitely should have started doing this a long time ago! I threw in a load of delicates when I picked up my stuff and their machines are reasonably priced ($2.75 for double load washers; $.25 for the dryers). There are many carts and a basin washing station. There is a change machine and 2 options to purchase detergent. There are 3 sizes of washing machines with each having the capacity and clear instructions. The prices range from 2.75 - 4.25 - 6.00. I used the large for a comforter and it washed in hot water for a long cycle for 27 minutes. There are 4 large dryers that run for 6 minutes for $0.25 which got very hot. I called the SAME day 2 hours before my so called appointment and they confirmed. My first impression upon walking in is how spacious and clean the place is. Because of such an open setup, I can imagine that even when this place is packed it is not cramped. They have single, double, triple, and mega load washers starting from $2.75 up to $8.50. Dryers are only $0.25 for 10 minutes. I saved about $0.50 per load by coming here instead of my usual place. They force you to Dry Clean your business shirts because they say "The cleaning agency will take better care of them". If you choose to do their regular service, they'll say that they cant accept it. In addition, if you don't have proof of payment, you cannot pickup your clothes and they will hold them hostage until you provide written proof. They have lots of the large commercial sized washers, and two supersized washers. The staff is helpful and always willing to assist!
