I looked online and found this laundromat close to home. It works with coins and not a card which is a plus. There is plenty of parking and I managed to park by the entrance under the roof so my car was in the shade. Inside there is good AC. I was bummed there was only one 8 loads machine available. They have 2 but the other one was occupied. I filled 3 other machines and paid $19.5 for my total of 26 loads. Someone was maintaining constantly inside which is great. The place was busy. I had to split it over dryers on both sides. One dryer had stuff sitting still, I felt it and it was dry so I took the 2 blankets out and put my stuff in. Few minutes later some older African American lady came and didn't stop screaming and threatening me. She was gonna "beat my ass up" lol sorry just can't take that serious. I started recording and said if one more threat I was gonna call the police. Like that's just stupid, I can only imagine her temper if something more serious than a blankie taken from the dryer happens in her life. Thank god I have washer and dryer at home so I don't have to deal with the people here at this laundromat. There is no rules projected anywhere. I don't go to laundromats but I know it's an unspoken rule you don't leave your stuff sitting while others are waiting. I didn't even answer her, I had my music on my earplugs. The fact I ignored her just infuriated her but I'm not gonna argue over your blankie. B bye. Several of my dryers were done after but she was too busy going around the place screaming that other people were taking them up. All other customers were extremely friendly to me and asking for my machines when I was done. Maybe I established a "don't f with me" image haha yup its the Miami survival of the fittest mentality I was thought the hard way(: I was almost sad when she left as it was quite entertaining. So far for using this laundromat. For about $25 having everything done within 3 hours was not a bad deal. Also machines don't skip counting coins and coins don't get blocked which is great.

Tried to go again today and the woman locked the door in my face right before I walked in. I arrived 45 minutes before closing time. There was plenty of customers inside. I don't even care that they closed earlier than stated. I get it. I'd want to go home too. But the way she did it was so rude. There are plenty of other laundry facilities in the area. Super clean, plenty of machines, personnel being present and helpful. The place features plenty of openings into their small private car park. Their rates are extremely competitive. I didn't elect for their wash and fold service as it was already 10pm and my load would have been returned the following day after noon. So I ended up doing my wash myself and that was uneventful. I loaded up 6 bags of laundry and took care of everything. Washed my wife's and my clothes, bed sheets and all of my daughters(2) clothes as well. Once I got home, in the bag where I put my two daughters blankets and sheets, my wife noticed that my 4 year olds mermaid blanket was missing. I said, well that's strange because I emptied all the machines myself. We searched the entire place 3 times. Needless to say my wife was extremely disappointed because she knew our daughter was gonna be so sad about it. We just wrote it off as a loss. This now brings me back to tonight, 3 week later. Here i am wahing tonight and I ask the lady at the front desk if anyone found a mermaid blanket in the machine. Her English wasn't so good and my Spanish wasn't working so we both used our phones to translate. She said she hadn't seen but she would ask the other lady's who work there via their work chat if they had. I said thank you. About 30 minutes goes by and I'm sitting down checking my email, when the lady here says to me, I think we have it. I said, really? She checks in a closet but nothing. Then she walks back around her counter and checks a basket and low and behold she pulls up not only my daughters mermaid blanket but another blanket which belonged to my 7month old. Both blankets folded and clean. The joy in her eyes and in my heart were equally matched. There are still good people left in this world. I'm forever grateful. A huge shout out to Cristina Sonia, Maria you Judith. Muchas gracias senoritas!
