Quick and easy to wash large blankets etc Clean laundromat and staff was nice I would return to wash large items again, the machines were fast efficient and worked well. There are stores and restaurants in the plaza so that helped with passing the time. Would recommend to anyone needing a safe location, very clean and quick laundry mat services. read more

Well, this is an impressive laundromat, not because of the looks or anything but because of what a small open-air place like this offers. Communication with the staff usually requires Spanish. So brush up on your skills. And remember, the literal translation of the spanish word for fabric softener is perfumed paper! Anyways, services include: - self service - $1.25 up to $1.50 to wash (I didn't see bigger ones, but there are supposedly washing machines for single, double and triple loads); and a bunch of quarters to dry (probably $1.50 worth, max) - wash & fold for 90 cents per pound - ironing - pick-up and delivery available for commercial accounts, at a $1.20 per poud rate and $8 pickup and delivery charge. BUT, what makes me like this place is the open air environment, the cuban cafeteria (for my cafe con leche, but there's other restaurants and a supermarket as well). And a haircut place if you need it and several other stuff. The laundromat also has a huge screen tv that is often playing a dvd (movie, music video, etc). And best of all... FREE WI-FI! Can you imagine that? A cheap laundromat with free wi-fi while you wash your clothes? Nice. This place is crazy. The owner woman hit her husband with a stack of cash. She also shortchanged me when I asked for change for a $20. She gave me $19 back and she only agreed to correct her mistake when she confirmed with another customer that I wasn't trying to cheat her. I can speak Spanish, crazy lady. The larger washers are new and cost $3.50 per load. I used the smaller, front loading washer for $2.50. It's nice that there's a Winn Dixie in the same complex, so you can be productive whole waiting for your clothes. I believe it's $0.90/lb for their wash, dry, and fold service, but I can't stand the thought of people handling my clothes. Why did our washer have to stop working? I was recently cursed with a broken down washer and dryer at home, this lead me to search for local laundromats that would be clean and reputable without breaking the bank. Thanks to Jordan's review I came to Scrub A Dub. I walked in on a Sunday morning, dropped off a bag of clothes and was able to return the same day to pick up my freshly washed and folded laundry. I felt like I had just bought a new wardrobe! This place will continue to be my go to until I can get the Maytag man at my house. They are really conveniently located and open late, so I can drop off stuff in the morning and pick it up at night! read more

First, not sure why this is listed as closed as I still come here regularly. As someone else mentioned, I also have a love hate relationship with this place. I'm the kind of person who just wants to do her laundry, mind her own business, and get out. It seems like no matter what, I've got someone on my back at this place telling me to hurry up, pointing out that my clothes are done washing and to take them out (when I am clearly busy unloading another machine), or insisting that I do this or that. I don't expect doing my laundry to be a fun activity but I kind dread coming back here each time because of the staff. Still I do come back. It is cleaner than other laundromats in the area (not that that is a high bar for Miami), and very close to my home. Another issue: sometimes the washers don't fill, particularly if you want hot water. When I reported this to the staff, the solution? Change the water temp. No refund. So I spent twice as much rewashing everything in a machine that actually worked. I don't even bother asking anymore. I just suck it up and pay double when this happens. I recently moved to the area and needed to find a facility nearby as my apartment doesn't have one. This was the first place I found online. I have been here 4 times. The first three times were okay. The last time wasn't so great. When I used one of the dryers to dry one of the loads, I didn't notice until I had taken the clothes out that there was dirt and debris in the dryer. Which ended mixing up with my laundry. I wasn't too happy about this and actually got me kind of frustrated. But I felt bad for complaining because a few minutes later the power went out 2 times. But I will be checking other places in the area in the meanwhile. read more

The level of rudeness that is in this laundromat by the lady in the front desk is crazy! Not friendly at all! Not friendly to kids! Kept telling me not to let my daughter touch the games because the games are loose due to people playing with them. Kept advising me she closes at 9:30pm like I can't read the door and got here at 8pm to wash one bag that would take less than an hour! She's super pushy and kept looking at us like we annoyed her! Recently I moved to Miami into a place with no washer/dryer I tried a couple laundry places around this area and I always come back to this one. The staff is friendly (almost all Spanish speaking) and the prices aren't to bad. I do laundry about every week or so and find I can wash and dry it all for 7 $ or less. They have soap for sale if you forget and plenty of washers and dryers. Also free wifi is a plus, I surf the web on my laptop while my clothes are washing and it makes the time go by quicker. I have a love-hate relationship with this place. It is true that the staff can sometimes be rude. I once had a bad experience where the washer was not throwing any water out once the machine started and the old guy working there was very ride. But at the same time, they can be nice sometimes and they usually have coffee or pastries/cookies/pizza at the entrance for all their customers which is a nice gesture (although my momma always taught me to not take candy from strangers lol). The location is very convenient because I can walk over to Winn Dixie and do my groceries or pass by the bakery to grab a bite to eat. If you have an ice cream craving, there's a Dairy Queen right there too. Time goes by fast when I'm at this laundromat because there's always something to do. I once got my nails done at the nail salon next door while waiting for my clothes to dry! Unfortunately there's always some machines that are broken but at least they put signs up so u don't waste your coins on a broken machine. And this laundromat is not as busy as others so I've never really had to wait that long even with broken machines. Always a plus to have a good working A/C especially when folding clothes. And the crowd that comes here are not ghetto or shady so I feel safe. read more

I make a weekly visit to this laundry mat and have never had any issues. The owner and employees are great, easy going people. The customers are all friendly. It's a great neighborhood laundry mat. When I don't have time to do laundry, I can drop it off and it'll be ready and folded the next day. Definitely recommended. read more

I had to give one star because this place Isn't clean and they don't have a good variety of washers. The smallest is the 2.50$. I won't be back. Maybe it's free Wifi but I can't wait to get out of here so I don't care!! Plus there are not enough chairs. Not to mention the chairs face the counter it's very unpleasant- TV is not on and people are not friendly at all. I came here this time because it's closer to work but next time I will drive the extra 5 miles I don't care! Also, make sure you have enough detergent and fabric softener- the machine for that was broken. You really are on your own here. I guess if you do drop off that changes everything but the lady looks mean and tired- so good luck! The washers leave your clothes extra wet to so my things take forever to dry! Got all my laundry done for less than $25.00, washed and folded. I like to use my own detergent, so I gave the nice woman at the checkout my detergent and softener, so she used them to wash my clothes. At .90 per pound I was very pleased with the outcome. The service is not good there, if you ask for help with a machine , will recive a bad face. They say in a sign that they close at 11 pm, but days ago, I arrived there at 10 and 30, and they not allow me get in to wash . This afternoon, I went to a machine without any kind of notice indicating that it was broken , or closed the slot to insert coins, and I deposited the money, when I saw that would not start , I asked the lady there about why the washer would not start , she said to me, that if I had seen on the screen was a number 13 , I told her yes, but I did not know it meant the number 13 on the screen. After having a few words with the woman , which showed no unhelpful attitude, she called the owner of the laundry, and told him to find me on the video cameras. Then I put the clothes to wash on another machine and left the place. Half an hour later I came back for my clothes, and the lady told me that the owner had told her, that he was searching in the video, and he had not seen me . Finally I lost my money, which for me is a small thing , but for them it was much less. So if you expect good service, never go there. read more

Laundromat quarter machines broken. Staff refused to provide change or quarters in response. No signs outside or inside store indicating they did not have the ability to provide the change necessary to use there machines. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Customers were left to wander around the strip mall to find quarters. Most stores refused. Due to lack of signage to notify customers, many loaded their laundry and added detergent before finding out they couldn't use the machines. Staff were not cleaning areas needed to fold laundry. Top of laundry machines filthy. At least 3 dryers were broken. A staff attempted to fix a broken washer by violently pounding on it until it shook back and forth. Overall, miserable experience. If you do not have coins, for your COIN LAUNDRY you need to notify customers at the door or close for the day. Ridiculous situation. Miserable. read more

Last night at 9:07 P.M. I went in this laundry mat with a huge volume of clothes to wash so I used the two biggest washers for 50 pound each in front where the staff sits. Last night the dark skinned middle aged man from Pakistan or India saw me sorting out my clothes and using the two largest washers. He was seated all night with his eyes glued to his laptop. People in the back talked that he watches pornography. When you ask for help, he gives you a mean look. You can tell he's an angry man. The Pakistan NEVER told me they were closing at 10:00 p.m. so he let me start my washing at 9:07 P.M. At 10:00 P.M. while I was half way folding my clothes in the back, he yelled "It's time to close and you have to leave now." He was extremely rude and cursed me in my face when I told him I was not finished yet. He walked up to me and continued cursing in my face. When I threaten to call police, he stopped and left me alone. Another customer he was also drying his clothes at 10:00 PM told me there have been problems with him as well for same reason. read more
