This review is very over due but still extremely worth it. I took in a black long dress after a nail polish cracked and splattered all over it. I tried treating the stain at home and was almost certain my dress was completely ruined... Luckily for me, I can across this cleaners online and decided to give it a try. My dress was left like new! We have been coming here for almost 3 years. I lived in the Hammocks area for a bit and we needed a tuxedo cleaned ASAP. To my surprise it was done in a very timely manner and I wasn't even charged for it being rushed! Bonus for me right there. So we started bringing in work shirts and we honestly really loved how quick and efficient the turn around time is. And if you need a specific piece in a rush, they'll do it, no questions asked. I love when we walk in, we're called by our name instead of just a generic 'hello'. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Just to make it short, we moved all the way down to Homestead and still make our way to the Hammocks to drop our garments off. This dry cleaner is not close to me at all but I love it! I found this gem online while looking to take my dry cleaning after another dry cleaning place ( close to home) practically destroyed my husbands very pricey "Michael kors" coat. With that said, I took his coat ( that smelled awful l, I cannot explain it) to his dry cleaners.. The manager or Owner ( bald fellow) was so nice and welcoming! I cannot express what a nice guy. I told him my issue with the coat and he said he would do his best to remove the stench.. He also asked me where I had taken it, I could not recall he name but he named a lot of dry cleaners close to the area where I had taken it. On thing I really liked was that he did not disparage that other place he was actually very professional and told me perhaps they used a chemical that was not to be used with this material ( wool) hence the odor it crated. With that said I dropped off my jacket and picked it up on time and the smell was gone! Excellent work!! And I've been going back to this place ever since!! That was about 1 year ago. The also have an In house seamstress she's the best! My seamstress left Miami and I was in desperate need of finding another one. She was great. She was able to fix and shorten the waist off my pants workout making them look (like they had any work) so that alone told me she's a pro! Highly recommend town customers cleaners! Lastly, the elderly lady that works there ( is th mom of the owner/manager) she's a doll .. She's so cute and just a sweety pie! read more

Unwelcoming and apparently does not need business from customers. The "Mom" is sweet, but the other woman there made me feel very unwelcomed at my last visit (customers can see you rolling your eyes!). The true reason I will not be returning is the seamstress only hems the way SHE prefers, i.e. if you want your pants shorter/longer it's a problem for her. For $16/pant, I will find a dry cleaners who appreciates my business and takes better care of my clothes. read more

Picked up a pair of jeans to get hemmed. I was charged one price for one pair and a higher price for an exact pair. When I question it the charges I was told it a "specialty hem" which is not the same exact hem I had done previously. I explained to the owner I was dissatisfied and he lost a customer due to poor customer service and inconsistent prices. He did not care and hung up the phone. Since this is the cleaners closest to home, I walked in for the first time yesterday to get my winter coat fixed, cleaned and pressed and I was very rudely received by an older gentleman. From the very beginning it was unwelcoming, so customer service is not this place's priority. After I explained to this sour faced man what I needed he proceeded to tell me that his place was not a cheap cleaner. I was in shock!! I had just left the gym in the plaza and was not dressed well, but regardless how disrespectful to your customers are you that before even telling me the price and giving me a chance to express my own opinion regarding its fairness or lack there off, im already being told its too expensive. So basically he was turning down my business before I even said anything. But the best part was when he pretty much threw my coat at me when I said I was offended and that I would not hive them my business. There is no excuse for ever treating a customer the way i was treated and I hope those who read this will not give them your business either. This is one of those places that just because it has been open for many years and has its clientele base built, they think they are too good. So much so that this guy "greeted" me by telling me how expensive it is lol But perhaps it would be wiser to keep in mind that there is a different dry cleaners in every corner plaza in Miami. As a matter of fact just down the street I was charged $15 less for the same job and most important of all, treated with the respect I deserve. read more
