I was contacted by the owner, he explained to me what the confusion was and offered to make things right. There are times that things don't go well but how the business owner handles the situation is very important. He really was very nice and really wanted to make things right so I will return and give them another try. I went to get a couple of pants to have the hem taken, I selected this place because of its high review, boy was I disappointed. I went in and was told it would take two weeks and if I was fine with that I could take a sit. I sat down said hello to who I presume is Huma and waited as she worked on a dress. This man walks in wanting his pants hemmed, she talks to him, he puts on the pants and she proceeds to mark the pants and tells them it will be done in a week. She then proceeded to continue to work on the dress and ignored me. I walked away. read more

Just a feeling and the prices are high no pick up or delivery for wash and fold ! Never mind then but thanks anyway! read more

I've known the owner, Gino, and used his services for over 15 years. He understands customer service and uses the latest technology. The location is convenient and there is available parking. His employees (Rafael, Naheed, Alan and seamstress Huma) are really wonderful and have been with him there for a long time - a testament to Gino and the work enviornment that they have. They do a great job, are very reliable, and will keep you up to date with texts. Raj read more

Excellent work and service. There's a reason why they have been in business for so long. Traffic around the location is a nightmare but it is what it is. read more

Terrible first-time experience - never going back! I've lived in the area for 20 years and decided to try Tysunn for the first time since it's closer to my house. I brought in a jumper for cleaning and asked for the price. The woman at the counter, who was in a bad mood, told me it would be $25--exactly what I usually pay at my regular dry cleaner. Wanting to give them a chance, I left my item. When I went to pick it up, I was shocked to be charged $34 for a single jumper! I have never paid that much for one item. To make matters worse, the prices they have displayed on the board at the entrance are not accurate. This place is overpriced and misleading, and the service was unfriendly. I'll be sticking with Puritan Cleaners, where the prices are fair, and the service is great. read more

The best! They are true professionals. I don't get my clothes dry cleaned to often but when I do it's here. I needed a quick turn around do to my dad's funeral and without hesitation they did it. THANK YOU! read more

I took my bridesmaid dress here to get hemmed, and I am so glad I did! I was on a tight timeline and had an international wedding. The tailor was able to turnaround the dress in 3 days and it fit perfectly. Price was reasonable compared to other places in Miami. Definitely call beforehand for their availability. There is street parking, but you can also just pull up your car on their driveway since you're in and out pretty quickly. read more

While parking is a disaster, service is good. The tailor is always in a hurry so double check the measurements.

Reasonable pricing, they offer tailoring and Monograming, friendly staff and timely turn around of dry cleaning at no extra cost! Also, very easy to drop off and pick up and very relaxing inside (unlike any other cleaners I've been to in the past) will take my things there from now on! read more

Called Wednesday morning asking if I can get a suit and shirt dry cleaned and ready by 11am the next day. There was no hesitation on their response, they said bring it in this morning and we'll have it ready. Their drive thru and parking is extremely convenient. Their prices are comparable . Will definitely use again. read more

I called for an estimation. They are 6 dollars a lbs for laundry and couldn't have it done for 3 days. The place I ended up going only costs 1.8 a lbs. and did it in 3 hours (although did not fold it) that would have taken 48 hrs. Maybe this place specializes in dry clean read more

I had a wedding in Jacksonville to attend and was pressed on time, when Tysunn got my dress shirts and jackets done in shorter time than estimated! Fast and affordable! read more

Huma is a lifesaver!!! I was in a bind and needed my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding hemmed SAME DAY. I texted Huma in a panic - she told me to come in and she'd make it happen. And make it happen she did! I came in at 1pm and she had the dressed measured on me and hemmed and ready to be picked up within 2 HOURS all for only $40! She even pressed the dress for FREE for me! The dress was hemmed to the perfect length. High-quality stitching. Huma even helped me decide the exact length I wanted the dress as I wasn't sure what length (to the floor vs. almost to the floor) would look best - and she was spot on with her suggestion. Expert tailor in knowledge and skill. Great first experience. Will be back again for sure. read more

Tysunn Dry Cleaners - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Miami, Florida

I met with Huma their seamstress. She was great and very professional. She is going to make some alterations to my wedding dress. We will see how it comes out Oct. 1! read more

I didn't get to actually use them because they're a bit far. But I will give this business 5 stars for responsiveness. You can request a quote right through Yelp- like I did, and the owner got back to me within THE HOUR! Unreal service- I imagine their tailored works reflects their responsiveness/ professionalism. read more

Rafael was wonderful! He got back to me regarding my inquiry ASAP, and was NICE! I was able to drop off my item, and it was ready by the end of the day! The seamstress was also nice, and the work she did was perfect. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Tysunn's! read more

I was traveling and needed two pairs of pants I had just bought to be altered the next day. The owner/manager responded quickly to my Yelp inquiry and got me in touch with Hamu. I was able to bring my pants in the next day and pick them up a few hours later, the alterations were perfect and the price was fair! Everyone was very friendly and made sure I was satisfied with the final product. I highly recommend this business, especially for travelers like myself who are in a bind and need a job done quickly! read more

Excellent service. They always get it right every time! Best cleaners in town. They have been around for an extremely long time and that is the reason why. read more

Went to get two pairs of pants hemmed- fast and easy service! Everyone was wearing masks and the price seemed fair-if anything a little high but that's south miami. read more

Little pricey for certain things but very nice and the front parking makes it easy to go in and out.

I arrived at 7 am and needed same day cleaning for 4 jackets. The staff was friendly. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. I was given my receipt and told they would be ready by 3pm (the receipt said 5pm). I got there at 3 exactly and my jackets we're ready as promised. The prices are fair. This was my first time here. I will definitely return. read more

Very happy with my first experience at Tysunn. I needed to get my son's jacket embroidered. Communication was excellent! I was in contact with the lady directly that was taking care of his jacket. I received pictures before and after. On time and reasonably priced. Thank you again! read more

I attempted to bring an old wind-breaker that I picked up from a thrift here to get some stains out. From the moment I was greeted (barely) I got the impression they were not interested in serving me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued to inquire anyway about whether or not they could remove the stains and the person behind the counter looked at me and told me he could not "guarantee" it. I said OK, how much is it to try? He said, "do you understand what I said, I can't guarantee it. These stains look very old" I responded, "yes, i understand. It is an old jacket. I am inquiring about the price to try??" He then proceeded to tell me how long it would take and answered every question I asked as if he was annoyed so i ultimately left. I have never had to beg someone to do a service im paying them for. I could understand being hesitant to take on a job that you can't guarantee, but after I expressed I was willing to pay for the attempt, it should've ended there. As a first time customer having read the glowing reviews before arriving , I was confused to be spoken to the way that I was as that clearly is not the experience of others. read more

Always friendly and responsive. Not inexpensive, but considering the alternatives worth the price differences.

I cannot express how grateful and appreciative I am to have come across such an amazing alterations place. Not only does the owner reply to you within just a few minutes but he has gone above and beyond to schedule me into a very tight deadline with several pageant dresses I needed altered. The alterations lady Sandra also went above and beyond to get my dresses perfect. Their prices are awesome and service impeccable. I truly am grateful for my experience and will be coming back again. Thank you guys so much read more

I have been coming here for about a year, and I have been pleased thus far. The location is convenient and the drive thru circle out front seems to work better than I would have imagined. Their prices aren't the cheapest in town, but they are fair, and more importantly they do a good job with the clothes, I've had no issues with any items, and they are friendly. read more

After having enough issues at Oxxo, we decided to try Tysunn, which is right down the street. Not only does Tysunn provide much better service but the prices are much better. For example, dry cleaning a dress costs about $10 less at Tysunn than Oxxo. We'll be at Tysunn a lot more now. read more

Awesome customer service very reasonable prices , and great quality! Also very convenient now during COVID 19 you can just drive in and they come to your car and pick up your clothes! The same thing when it's time to pick up! Very nice family business! I highly recommend them! read more

I swore by this dry cleaners when I lived in the area. They did a great job, and were very reasonably priced. I even got some jeans altered there, and they did a good job with the original hems. The one time I had a problem - a white cardigan came back gray - I told them about it and they fixed it, no questions asked - my white cardigan was like new. They have a circle drive that can be confusing at first - but just pull all the way up so you don't get trapped. read more

So far, so good. I've been disappointed so far by Sir Galloway and Dry Clean USA due to their lack of clarity in pricing. No one seems to tell you what you'll be paying for dry cleaning and laundry these days. As well, at Sir Galloway, the staff seems befuddled and their computers never seem to be working. At Tysunn, the prices are on the wall and the pick up and drop off move like clockwork. As well, the cleaning is superb and the pricing is moderate. If you are in the south Gables or South Miami, Tysunn is great value for money. They are getting 4 stars not 5 only because the parking is a little weird. Tip: pull all the way to the end of the driveway. read more

I've been coming to Tysunn's for several months now , and I am truly satisfied at how well they work with your clothes , their quality is very good and their seamstress is excellent with the alterations and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this dry cleaners. read more

I tried their service after being a loyal customer of Martinizing Signature in the Gables for few years. After Martinizing closed down, I chose Tysunn because of the 4 stars on Yelp. Staff seems very nice and friendly at Tysunn. I dropped 1 long sleeve shirt and 2 polo shirts for dry cleaning and 2 long sleeve shirts for laundry. The 2 polo shirts were poorly ironed, and I am not talking about the regular creases due to folding finish. One of the shirt that went for laundry came out discolored and with a rip in the seam of the cuff. The other shirt that went for laundry was also poorly ironed and with too much starch. The only shirt that was dry cleaned seems OK (so far). Maybe laundry is not their strength.. but then they could have advised dry cleaning for all shirts. Most of the buttons in all the shirts were also scratched. I expect better quality for the price: ~$30 total. No collar stays are provided with the dry cleaning service, which is more than $7 per shirt. A sign in the store clearly states that complaints needs to be made at the time of pick up. Given that it was my first experience with Tysunn I should have done that but inspecting 5 shirts in details in the store around closing time seemed impractical. If you are used to higher standards than this I'd try to go to a different place. read more

I have been coming here for over 20 years. They do a wonderful job at a fair price. The customer service is outstanding too.

Ive been coming here for about a year and ive always been satiafied with the service. They are professional, friendly and affordable. I have had one instance where there was a minor issue with a couple of shirts that they handled and they quickly and fairly addressed my concerns. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy drycleaner. read more

this place somehow always comes back to haunt me. between them over-starching clothing (I specify every time no starch!), ironing my pleats down the center of my pants (like I'm pleated khaki-wearing older man) or providing neon laundry bags that stain my clothes...permanently! i've been going here for years, but unfortunately need to find a new dry cleaner. read more

I called to get pricing on their service and was told they don't give their prices over the phone. I thought it was a joke but apparently not. I had to go there for them to tell me the price only to find out they charge as much, more on some services, than other places. They weren't very friendly which was disappointing considering there are 4 other cleaners on the same block for me to take my clothes to.
