This experience was from two weeks after opening. I thought the food, which was a decent burger, was merely ok. I had their breakfast burger. However, I waited more than an hour to get my food; the first thirty minutes they made a mistake and gave me a burger I did not ask for, and then waited 40 minutes for the correct order but it was the wrong size. I ate the second anyways. So it was a bad experience for that end of the service. There was a server, however, who was super professional about my bad experience, offered apologies, and in my opinion made me feel better about my bad time. One issue I think is that the order is affected by the ambience. It is loud, almost uncomfortably so, and the seating feels like an afterthought to me. I could barely hear myself or my brother who went with me as we were eating. I don't think I had ever been to a louder restaurant! Usually I can handle things loud but it was too much for me. I hope things can improve. The wait time and ambience killed it for me. read more

That was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I am a burger fan and I never had a peanut butter burger, so I was a little nervous but it exceeded my expectations! So much that I tried to find other PB burgers places where I live, but I couldn't find one as good. read more

If I could give it a half star, that would be gracious. I placed an order for for a chicken sandwich and fries for delivery at 5:57 pm and received it at 7:13 pm. This location is approximately 2 miles from my office, so a delivery should be simply. Initially I received a message that my order would arrive within 30 minutes. I understand when things get busy, but almost an hour and a half for a sandwich? I attempted to call the restaurant four times to cancel my order once I realized I wasn't going to receive it in any decent condition, and they never answered the phone. I attempted to call the phone number of the delivery driver, which was provided, and they did not answer. I attempted to go online and cancel my order, and that was not possible. So, eventually I received a soggy chicken sandwich and ice cold fries, which, all together, might've been 12. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT EAT HERE. I actually go to the location in Eugene, OR and love it, so don't let this terribly managed and run establishment ruin it for you. What a rip off. read more

BEST BURGER IN OREGON These burgers are absolutely delicious and don't even get me started on the fries, crispy golden outside melty inside. As for the burgers, the meat is absolutely packed with flavor and the veggie patty is one of the best i've ever had. We had the Teemah with blue cheese fondue is killer, super goey and cheesy. Also got the Fun Guy with mushrooms and swiss fondue, so delicious and cheesy and meat is so flavorful! My new favorite place here to eat. read more

The restroom was super clean and well supplied. The service was great with a variety of burgers and my burger and fries were good read more

What the heck is this?!?! Seriously, who smashes burgers together like this?!! Friggin amazing!!! Again, I order the veggie version of that bacon peanut butter sauce idk what it was but with no mayo. That's the only thing I altered because mayo is disgusting and totally unnecessary, & I got fries. To go. Opened the box at home, still super warm, fries are perfect. And that sloppy burger. Holy wow! The bacon was perfect - burnt like I like it, idk what I was eating, it was like a pbj but sauceir, and the bacon perfect crunch, and the patty was that perfect veggie kind I like where you can see the bits of corn and peppers sticking out when you take a bite & my hands and face. Seriously, who can eat this in public. I was a mess...& I loved it. My new favorite burger joint. Please don't go downhill. The restaurant looked nice clean and friendly. read more

Brand new to the area.. Salem cannot get enough of these fantastic burgers! The line was out the door from opening till about 3:00pm. This new crew just smashed the rush with professionalism.. polite.. courteous.. style. The burger was fantastic!we will be back next week Great job kB Salem‼ read more

The wait was ridiculous, i watched orders placed, same time, get picked up well before me, at 3 pm on a Monday, should not wait 50 minutes! They said 10 minutes!! read more

Every time I have gotten food from Killer, it's been amazing! This time I tried the Motley Crue with shareable fries to go. - it did not disappoint!! So DELICIOUS!! Service was so friendly too!! Highly recommend! read more

Place is horrible. Way over priced and lousy food. Bun on our burgers wasn't even warmed, much less toasted. Tasted like a cold/cheap bun from a package off the shelf. Guy at register was however, was very friendly and attentive when we ordered. read more

Awsome burgers/fries! Good price too. Not big on the rap music with cuz words in lobby.

Slowest place in town to get a burger. Went on a Saturday no line and only 12 customers inside. Cashier told us it was gonna be an hr to get our burgers. So we left. No other burger place in town has a wait like that. read more

Visited my first Killer Burger today, some have raved about. Very unimpressed. Atmosphere, service were okay, nothing to write home about. The burgers however were less than we hoped for. I ordered a lettuce wrapped burger, wife had 'pint size' burger with fries. My burger was very uncooked and pretty much tasteless, plus barely warm. Wife's was okay but would have been better if the bun wasn't cold. Plus this menu is way overpriced. Should have gone to the Costco nearby and had the hotdog and soda for a buck and a half. My next burger outing...In & Out...hands down. read more

I just went to Salem's new Killer Burger tonight. This is the third time I have stopped by since they opened. I was severely underwhelmed with the speed and results of my order. While the burgers were tasty, the timing on my order was bad. The restaurant is not currently taking online, food delivery services, or phone orders. I make this point because tonight when I placed my order there is still a 45 minute wait. This was with the restaurant barely 1/2 full. I noticed 2 boxes on the prep table with burgers in them. Next to them was a box with an order of shareable fries. This was my order, but I didn't know that when I first saw them. I saw them pour half the box of fries into another order. My order then sat for another 10 minutes before someone closed up the boxes, put them in bag, and let me know my order was ready. I was home before I noticed they had never refilled the fries, just gave me a cold half order. I know Killer Burger can do better. I just hope the store here in Salem figures it out soon. read more

My boyfriend and I really enjoy Killer Burger. We've had nothing but great experiences. I get the Mötley Qüe burger, and my boyfriend gets the classic burger. We'd both agree that they have the best fries & burgers in Salem! Customer service is 5/5: the workers are friendly and positive. read more

It appears that they are cooking in stages, not to order that's why it's a 45 minute wait for your food. Granted that have only been open for 18 days and have staffing issues, still think there's a better way! Very disappointed!!!! read more

The food has always been excellent, but the wait time is borderline insulting, especially with the amount of staff on hand. Don't come here if you are really hungry, the shortest wait time I've had has been 45 minutes. Hopefully management/ staff can get it together because I love the food here. read more

The wait is crazy long for somewhere that just sells burgers and fries. And honestly it makes the food not worth it.

Music is so loud and annoying. Hopefully you enjoy crappy pop music. Food took forever and it's slow in here. Dusty all over the exposed duct work. Cob webs on the indoor pergola thing. They just opened! Very unlikely we will be back. read more

First time here. We came at 8:30 pm to miss the crowds. It wasn't busy at all. We were quoted a 35 minute wait. Waited over an hour for our food. Very disappointing, especially with how many people work here, and literally 5 other customers. I'm not sure we will be back for awhile, if ever. read more

The restauraunt was nice and clean, opened late. I ordered a hamburger and fries. The food took almost 20 minutes and there was only 1 other person in front of me. The food was nothing special and way over priced. 16.00 for a burger and fries, no drink, no sides just ridiculous. The long wait, mediocre burger and high prices i would not recommend. read more

I've been waiting to try Killer Burger since they opened but wanted to wait till the hype died down and for them to fix any issues. I ordering process is easy and I like that they bring it out to you. Kinda reminds of a Burgerville joint, which I love. I ordered the Bender since I'm a big spicy guy and honestly, it was delicious. Good spice, burger tasted good, not a small burger but also not super big where it becomes a mission to finish it. Staff was friendly and they pick up after you. Also, you can have beer here so that's a plus for me. I'll definitely be coming back again to try other burgers. read more

They only take your to go on line order if you have a Salem zip code, all the surrounding communities are SOL.

This location runs out of menu items, regularly. Not very good, dry and almost unpleasant to consume. We tried twice, probably not trying again. Too bad, Salem will support good food. read more

Went with friends to Killer Burger for my first time ever today. My friends had been to this same location a week ago and loved it. I was pumped to be trying a new place with the kind of rave review my friends were giving it because I am definitely a burger lover. We got 3 Classic Burgers and 1 order of fries to share. The burgers were ready for pickup about 25 minutes after ordering. We had been waiting inside and had been advised to move to another area and told that we would be able to hear when our name was called from that location - no worries we moved. The person advising us all to move along seemed a bit brisk and definitely not a warm fuzzy type person (she actually really rubbed me the wrong way with the way she spoke to another customer so I waited outside in the car while my friends waited inside for our order). We opted to eat in the car as it was raining and there were no tables available inside. We opened our orders up TBH it was pretty underwhelming. I was surprised at the size of the order of fries I received (about 15 fries of varying sizes with some being well over cooked and some being relatively normal) and the fact that some of the bacon for the burger was just lying along side the burger nestled in with the fries - not the most appetizing looking meal. For the cost of an order of fries the pickings were really slim but since only one person was eating fries it was fine - I just gave her the box and she was good to go. We had asked for salt and pepper only to be informed by the aforementioned employee that they do not carry salt or pepper for customers. My friends said that the food they got last week was simply better than what we had gotten today - their food was hot, the fries were far more plentiful, and they said the whole experience was far better. I have to be honest, I thought the burger was ok - nothing extraordinary but not terrible either. For a price point of over $10 for just the burger I cannot imagine a case where I would purchase from this chain again. They just aren't particularly special in my opinion and add to that the really small fry order and the chilly customer service and I think I'm going to stick with In 'n Out, Five Guys, or Habit. read more

Killer Burger South Salem - French fry order we were told was definitely splittable. Bacon outside of burger - not sure what that was about. - Burgers Near Me - Salem, Oregon

Only giving it a 3 stars, because I've only tried the Chicken sandwich and it was made with 2 super tiny chicken strips that didn't even fill half of the bun. Flavor amazing but too not enough chicken. Fries are really good,I like that they're thick. read more

The food was fantastic. If you're not trying the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger, you're wrong! It's delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection. The owner/manager was walking around greeting people. All the staff were very helpful despite being in their opening week. The restaurant looked very nice with the murals painted on the walls. Went in around lunchtime July 7, 2023. The line was very short but it still took about 15 minutes for our food to come out... too slow. However, once the food did come out, it was very good! IMO, better than Nancy's, better than In N Out! Very tasty. Speed up the food and this place will be more popular. read more

So I have been looking forward to checking out the new "Killer Burger" here is Salem. Unfortunately the only thing killer was the price, $11.45 for a so, so burger ; small fry and drink. My experience was just like what others have posted. It took 20 minutes for my food to come up to the window; unfortuately I could not hear them call my name over the blasting music and the kitchen staff's laughing and bantering back and forth; sounded like a frat house party. So bottom line is, the owners keep responding to the "1" star reviews with "please email us and tell us what we could do better" well they know what they need to do to make it a better experience, but obviously have not changed anything since opening. I would avoid this place and spend your money at In and Out or Nacy Jo's,iether one of these places have good value for wwhat you get. read more

Been waiting over an hour they told us it would be around 25 to 45 min for food but I'm sure it would be much faster if they weren't singing and Goofing off in the kitchen the have the music cranked in the kitchen and they think it's funny NEVER EVER coming back here! Oh I almost forgot the burgers here are way smaller than in the other Killer Burg locations? Why is that ‍ read more

I LOVE Killer Burger! Best burgers ever! Sometimes the burgers are a little undercooked for me, but I have never gotten sick.

We both had the Motley Crue (mine without grilled onions). Burger was moist and tasty. First thought was Carl's Western Burger with crispy onions instead of rings. Fries were crispy outside and fluffy inside. I prefer 5 Guys but my wife wants to go back read more

Best burgers in Salem, I prefer the bender. I always feel like it topped the last and I've never been disappointed.

I ate from there 2 days ago. My grandson said he really liked their burgers so I decided to get a hamburger from there too. Right next to Costco so we popped in after shopping ready for lunch. The decor is so so and the tip jar at the register is insulting. we ordered the classic burger in the 1/3 ounce size. Mine with no pickles and hers with no onions. We waited at least 30minutes to get served and my burger was barely warm. it was very salty and the cheese not melted. i could taste pickle which means they had to remove it. If the burgers were served hot it may have been okay. The fountain drinks are $2.95 each for a medium size and the shared fries are $6.95 so we didn't order any. Save yourself a trip and go to Five Guys instead. read more

I survive the killer burger, 45 minutes till ordering and 15 more for food to get delivered, got the classic same as my wife I saw was getting the small instead was the 1/3 of pound for more money, don't care for the money but I was expecting to get kill but no injuries,to salty, fries the same way good and crispy but to salty big pieces of rock or kosher salt but they were good. I am attracted to smell and in the outside of the restaurant is no smell unless they have top of the line vent hoods, could not ear the hissing of the burger cooking on the griddle,I may try one more time but they are not killers read more

We decided to go early and avoid the crowd since it's a new place here in south salem. There was a sign on the door that they were understaffed.
