Hot honey chicken sandwich w coleslaw

Usually this place rocks but seems to be going downhill lately. Hit honey chicken used to be huge and juicy, now all tiny, crunchy & dry. Boo

$4.34 of fries... apparently

The fries knock a full 2 stars off this review. Killer Burger's burgers are killer. Maybe a bit of a "duh" there. For fans of spice, the Bender can't be beat, though the Jose Mendoza makes a good effort. If cheese is your thing, the Teemah or Fun Guy are unmissable. The Meathead and Purist are as good as they could be, though if you get one of those you're missing out on the more unique and gourmet burgers. Even the Classic and Motley Queue provide flavorsome, well-balanced takes on the more traditional american and cowboy burger styles, respectively. But the real star, as you have surely heard, is the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon. I promise you. Try it. Peanut butter and pickle is a combination that you either love, really love, or don't like because you already didn't like either pickles or peanut butter. Despite being greater than the sum of its parts, I've never met someone who enjoys both peanut butter and pickles who doesn't love them together (at least, after a bit of convincing). Killer Burger's take on this combination absolutely does it justice. The wait times can be a bit long, and the prices a tiny bit high, but the burger is worth it. Honestly, I'd recommend just ordering from Killer Burger as delivery anyways. That would be a five star review. Except! The fries. What is happening here? The fries are oversalted to hell, they charge for sauces, and worst of all -- they're skimpy as anything! Yes, the portion works out to be perfectly satisfying without making you feel sick, but for $3.50, I want a portion of fries that leaves me feeling sick! Seriously, how does an order of fries ($4.34 delivered) come out smaller than a pint size burger? They must keep hiring people with smaller and smaller hands, because my handful of fries has only gotten tinier since Killer Burger opened, as well. Get your fry game together, then we'll talk. I'll still eat your burgers while we're not talking, though.

Clean, modern, fast casual dining. Tasty burgers prepared just right and crispy fries. I'm sort of a ranch snob and wasn't thrilled with theirs so next time I will try a different dipping sauce. My husband and I split the Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger and the Meathead. The PBPBB was my favorite of the two. Good flavor! Definitely would eat here again.

You will see this is the perfect example of a non kosher version of a hamburger. Classic

It's a shame when you have religious dietary restrictions. Imagine you are craving a burger, and you go outside of your normal place only to find out that they have lost the ability to read the order correctly. It's not the best thing to happen especially when you have to order through an app. Why are simple tasks becoming more difficult than before?

Ordered pick up online, I was hesitant to try due to the poor rating but it was definitely worth the try! There's a long wait time so it's best to order pick up online. I ordered the teemah burger, it had blue cheese on it and it was delicious! The burgers are huge and filling! Definitely a must try if you're visiting Oregon!!!

Order: Jose Mendoza & Frys Pros: So the wait was roughly 40 mins. The burger and frys flavor wise tasted good. The jose mendoza was super spicy but had just enough kick flavor wise. The frys are nice and thick. Cons: So they tell people to sign up for the app for the free shareable frys and then you get to the register and cant use the app. Then the lady at the register wont honor the sign up. She has an attitude because every person asked about it. Take the sign down or honor the download. The wait is pretty long still. Not sure I will come back as there are an abundance of burger places. After my long wait for food my food was cold go figure. They have no heat lamp and as we wait for food its just sitting out until they can bag it all call your name for to go.

We had put off trying them because of poor reviews... sometimes unfairly perhaps or maybe they've just worked out the kinks!? My husband had a Jose Mendoza that he says was delicious and craveable! Loved the hatch chilies! I had a lettuce wrap burger with bacon, fondue cheese (yum) and mushrooms. Also delicious! A little juicy, so hard to eat. The fries were awesome too. So all in all it was a great 1st experience I should also mention it was also really fast-5 minutes on a Friday afternoon at 4.

Went here while on a work trip and the food was phenomenal…read more It's an order and pay at the counter then get your food when it's ready kind of bar atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Their ciders are great, I tried the Viking Cherry Cider and loved it so much I bought a six pack to take home, at $18 for 6 it was still absolutely well worth it. For food my coworker got the Fish and Chips, deep fried in beef tallow for those who avoid seed oils, and said it was excellent. I had a caesar salad and fries to go with my cider and it was a lovely meal. This will absolutely be one of our go-to spots when in Salem from now on.

The inside atmosphere is sports bar fabulous plenty of seating for groups or couples. We shared a juicy hazy IPA and an order of scotch eggs while sitting on the patio, which is shaded and comfortable with both picnic tables and bar-top seating. I was thrilled to find that the scotch eggs were not only delicious but also authentically prepared. The yolk was soft and slightly runny, and the crust was perfectly crisp and flavorful. This establishment is a true hidden gem. While the food prices are a little steep, the quality definitely makes it worthwhile. We will be back!

I tried this at The Yard…read more It was....alright. Kind of expensive, but not overly bad for a food truck collective. I ordered an El Dorado, with barbecue sauce, onion rings, bacon, and cheese (tomato, lettuce, and onion are listed on the board. I declined lettuce and tomato but didn't receive any raw or grilled onions, just an onion ring. That was fine. However, the menu said onion rings and onions.) I chose the tater tots to go with it. I also ordered a side of mozzarella sticks. Not overly long to receive. The food was hot and clearly prepared fresh. However, I have a hard time not saying that literally everything I ate started off frozen. Consider the hockey puck, perfectly formed, crisp edged hamburger patty. Honestly, it didn't really taste like anything. Just...chew. Frankly, it made me think of frozen Bubba Burgers. Maybe the Angus one, to be fair, but it still didn't really taste like anything. Complete lack of seasoning, except maybe some sprinkled on, which is usually indicative of a frozen hamburger puck. The bacon and cheese were okay. Barbecue sauce was non-descript. Tots were...potatoes. Again, I felt like they came out of a generic food supplier bag. And the picture on the menu versus the actual mozzarella sticks? Yeah. Not the same. I recognized them from my drinking days the moment they came out. The exact same frozen mozzarella sticks that they serve at most bars. Big, thick, breading comes off the cheese pretty easily as they cool down, big hunk of solid cheese that starts off stretchy and turns into a solid block when cold. My 12 year old son and I didn't finish them, and both me and that kid love fried cheese. Look, it wasn't horrible. But I didn't finish it. And wasn't sad about it. And it cost an awful lot for that, all things considered. If you're at the Yard and just want basic American style diner food, go for it. You'll get what you ask for. But I don't see any reason to go there. Honestly, I have a better burger from Wendy's. :/

The burger was large and good. I got the bacon bleu. The bleu cheese was very strong. So much so…read morethat it overwhelmed the taste which was a bit much for me, but might be good if you really love bleu cheese. The bacon was really good. The service was good and the dining area was clean with ample room for seating.
