But there were many other things she could've been tending to instead of sitting on her phone for the 2 hrs I was there like clean the restroom, or sanitize some toys, tidy literally anything! I understand there's kids playing and a mess will be made again but come on .. the painting area needed refilling, the paint containers were near empty and the paper for the area as well. Keep things stocked so they're actually be able to be enjoyed. Why can't the staff stay on top of these things ? & the thing is, it's been like this EVERYTIME I've come .. that's pretty sad. It was also pretty hot in there since it's summer but the worker couldn't even bother to turn on the fans.. these may seem like little things but they definitely add up. Especially with little ones. This meant we had to choose between watching our kids (ages 4-7) or eating cake together, since we couldn't do both at once. As a result, our kids ended up playing unsupervised while we were stuck eating in a separate room. This raises a real safety concern: if parents are forced to step away from the play area just to eat cake, who's responsible if something happens to a child while no adult is watching? That's a serious liability question the venue doesn't seem to have thought through. When we tried to bring the cake out to the supervision area, a staff member confronted us about it in a way that felt unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful. As grown adults, we were made to feel like we were in trouble for doing something wrong, simply for trying to watch our kids while having a slice of cake. There are better ways to enforce a policy than coming at customers like that, especially in front of kids. It left a bad taste and made an otherwise fun birthday feel stressful. Would not recommend unless they revisit both the policy and how staff communicate with guests and rethink a rule that puts kids' safety at risk.

It wasn't cheap, but well worth the investment. The staff that ran it was really friendly and engaged with the kids. They had superhero capes and masks for the kids to wear while they were there. The activities each day were superhero themed, and the kids did crafts besides just Lego things, too. They also email you a link the first day to a google drive where they post a few pictures each day so you can see what your kid has been up to. I thought this camp was a great investment. Long enough for him to have fun and for me to get things done, but not so long that the whole day was gone or it got boring. They still have some camps this summer. Definitely worth doing!

The bus picks up the kids at the Cheviot Hills Rec Center. Then you do not see nor speak with them until they return. The only correspondence permitted is via email or USPost. They also post daily picks of the kids at play to the web site. Twas a great way to help build a kid's sense of independence. That was my motivation to send mine here. We're both happy. I only had marbles and a fishing pole when I was in camp! (lol) *** Gold Arrow is pricey but it is a great way to cut the cord. ***
