Came here about an hour and a half before they were supposed to close. To our surprise, they already closed part of the arcade and there were two major attractions that were closed down. The staff seem eager to close an hour and a half early before they were supposed to. Not only that, but there were several big arcade games that were not working or out of commission. how are you supposed to keep teenagers and families entertained when you're closing early and I only do that a large amount of your equipment isn't working correctly. We enjoyed some much needed time with some friends on a mid-day Monday. Glad to experience the space without a huge crowd. Although my photos show zero to few people, there was a good number of adventure seekers/kids and onlookers/parents. My only discomfort was in the arcade due to the temperature jump. Very disappointed with our experience at No Surrender. The pricing is way higher than it should be for what you actually get. By the time you pay for admission and extras, it feels extremely overpriced for a kids' play area. What made it worse was the customer service. The staff seemed uninterested in helping and came across as rude when we asked basic questions. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like we were bothering them. For the price they charge, you'd expect much better service and a more positive atmosphere. Unfortunately, this visit left us frustrated and we won't be coming back. For a place where so many kids are running around and touching everything, it did not feel sanitary. Several areas looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while and the overall environment felt dirty. That's a big concern when you're bringing children to a play area. On top of that, the customer service wasn't helpful when we brought up concerns. The staff seemed uninterested and dismissive. For the prices they charge, you would expect a clean and well-maintained facility with friendly staff. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. On top of it all! When we booked my daughter's 7th birthday party at No Surrender Fresno, it sounded like a dream setup: kids could choose between the play area or laser tag, get a game card for the arcade, and enjoy an hour in a private party room. Plus, we were told we could bring a fruit and veggie tray (mom win!). It felt like the perfect combo of flexibility and fun. But then... reality checked in at the front door. First, we were told the kids couldn't go back and forth between play and arcade--only one could be done at a time. Not a huge deal, but definitely not what we were told when we booked (and re-confirmed more than once). We're here, the guests are here, so we go with it. Cool. Then, our party room changes from Room 1 to Room 3. Still rolling with it... Room 3 was decorated nicely, but it was tiny. We had 15 kids and a bunch of parents--there was barely enough room to breathe, let alone grab a slice of pizza. Luckily, there were a few seats outside the glass party room, so parents camped out there like it was a birthday tailgate. Trying to make things easier (and, you know, be a decent host), I brought out the fruit and veggie tray we were told we could bring. Not 30 seconds pass before our party hostess--doing her job, I know--tells us the tray has to go back into the room. Outside food can't be consumed outside the room. Ok, fine. Back in it goes. Now it's cake time. My sister-in-law made a custom cake that looked amazing and tasted even better. I bring a slice to a guest sitting right outside the party room. Again, we're told: cake has to go back. I had reached my limit. So, like any New Yorker who's trying to keep it classy, I asked the hostess, "How big does your tip have to be to not see a slice of cake?" She smiled and replied, "I'm just following the rules. My manager enforces them." Sigh. So I speak to the manager, who kindly but firmly tells me: rules are rules. If they make an exception for me, they'd have to do it for everyone. I wanted to tell her that customer experience is the best marketing, but honestly, I was drained and didn't want to give another unpaid business seminar. I spent the last 15 minutes of the party sitting outside the glass, writing this review. So here's the bottom line: The kids had fun. The room looked cute. The pizza was good. BUT... Be ready for rigid rules that don't prioritize guest experience. Don't expect flexibility, even when it makes sense. If you have guests outside the party room, they may not be allowed to eat what you brought or even the cake. Would I book here again? Honestly, probably not. The experience could have been great--but too many unnecessary rules and not enough common sense got in the way. I took my daughter an hour before closing knowing what time they close was only planning to stay about 45 minutes to let her burn some energy off before bedtime. They started mopping and cleaning around 9:30 didn't really like the fact that they were mopping at 9:30 where my daughter was running through the little obstacle courses all the tables were dirty, so I couldn't really put my stuff down anywhere and it seems like it's a constant thing cause this hasn't been the first time it seems like every time I go in there the tables are dirty and if it's late, the staff makes you feel unwanted or you're bothering them or they're trying to hurry up and get out of there. I do understand about wanting to leave on time but they close at 10 o'clock and 9 o'clock. I am very aware it would not stay past closing time but that place is so unwelcoming and really mopping with where the children are someone can get hurt there were no wet signs and I did over here them deny a family of lake to play laser tag and then a few minutes later let two other people play that wasn't right. I know there's a lot of young adults working there, but they need to work on their professional... This place is the most petty place I have ever seen when it comes to business. The first incident I had with them was in relation to grip socks. We had frequented other places that didn't require Grip socks being bought from them, but this place tried to tell me it was due to insurance reasons. The funny thing is your company writes your own policy, so the insurance reasons that they discussed are basically their own terms in order for them to get more money out of you. The crowd at both of these places is questionable at times as well. The last straw was trying to cancel my recurring membership. Apparently it says there's a 72 hour notice and I was 48 hours out. In such a trying economy, you would think a place would be willing to let it slide, but they want to be petty like they did with the grip socks and charge me anyway. I will never be going back. This was my very first time visiting. Having a 4 year old, I only spent time at then Adventure Course section for toddlers and younger kids. I will say it's a lot larger than what you think! With three levels, I felt like Alice in Wonderland ... a maze trying to find my kid! LOL It is a workout for parents. Some parent watch but the signs say a parent must be present so ... it's a workout! The facility was super clean. However we came during the week when they first opened. Honestly a maze like this would be fun for adults too! Maybe after hours with lights dimmed. The staff is super friendly. We were starving after an hour of constant play. Dining in is expensive as with a typical amusement park. However, the food would bring this place down. I spent $61 for 5 ... typical overpriced amusement park food. It EVERY entree was either wrong or horrible. I felt bad to the woman (Claudia). She was super nice and apologetic. It sounded like the mishaps weren't her fault as the cook messed up her the orders. 1. Kids meal - slider and fries: the bread hard and the meat was overcooked. Pretty much charred hockey pucks that were inedible. My son didn't touch them. 2. Kids meal - grilled cheese and tater tots: the tater tots were good but the grilled cheese was on the hardest, untoasted bread. The cheese wasn't even melted! 3. Ultimate loaded fries: they got this wrong. Asked for no onion and no mushrooms. Came full of both and had to be made again. 4. Buffalo Chicken fries: came last. Cut tip chicken tenders were so hard it bent the fork (see picture). 5. No nacho sauce in stock. 6. Was told no ranch for the kid meals or my buffalo fries. Luckily Claudia found some. I felt really bad for her because she could tell it was all wrong. She had to remake a lot of food but honestly it should've been refunded. I would stick with pizza if I return to dine in. Cool thing is they have beer, wine and mixed drinks for adults. My experience at the facility was excellent. But the food was inedible which is sad because it's a very nice place. The service for the party rooms is terrible you can't enjoy the birthday party when you are being rushed to do the cake. Let me just say I was told to arrive 15 minutes early so I can decorate in 15 minutes. My party started at 4:00 I was not in my room till 3:55 given 5 minutes to decorate they were still sweeping and telling me they ran out of the colored table covers I requested, not once but twice. I don't understand why they wouldn't set them aside for the reserved party that made a deposit a month ago. My food platter I order, my guest mentioned the hot dogs tasted old like they were just spinning on a cooking rack dried up and cold I was so embarrassed I will never come her again for a party or just for fun I rather take my business to Johns Incredible! My host had pants on that were holding up with safety pins which made me feel uncomfortable because half of her business was showing I don't understand how management would let her walk around like that there are children present! Spent 728$ and felt completely wasted. To top of off When I asked for my things back as they hold your stuff as collateral so you don't leave without paying they didn't give me my 2 boxes of cake that were not touched and it had it on the slip and I also put them in a bin so everything was together apparently they separated it i don't know why just seemed sketchy Never again! Very pleased with our first experience booking a party at No Surrender! Our family had a birthday party here for our child and 10 friends. We opted for a birthday package which included one hour in the adventure course, one hour in the party room, a $15 game card for each guest, 3 pizzas & unlimited beverages. Each guest also received a No Surrender Dogtag necklace. The facility was clean, newly renovated, and not as loud as other comparable birthday spots in the area. We were greeted upon entering, given a birthday rolling cart, introduced to our party host, and we were informed they would decorate and set everything up. Our party host, Aslin, was so kind, focused, attentive, and really did a phenomenal job setting up the room. There is even a button to push in the room if there is anything you need as the party is going in the room. She helped with setup, clean-up, serving food & cake, and beverages. Pizza was fresh out on tables precisely on time, kids loved it, and you can choose a full topping or half and half. Though we had many of our own party supplies, they are happy to supply plates, cups, napkins, utensils, tablecloths, etc. Our child thoroughly enjoy their party, and as parents, we were so impressed with the timeliness, attention to detail, and care the host and facility takes to make the day as smooth and fun as possible. They used their own tape, push pins, etc. to put up our decorations too! Tips: we were able to bring in a veggie tray, a fruit tray, and a cake. They kept these items refrigerated and labeled until we needed them. You can only bring in specific outside food if you book a party room. Also, to save time, recommend having guests sign waivers prior to party start time (it cane even be done online) We highly recommend having a party at No Surrender in Clovis, CA! I've taken my toddler here 3x... She loves the ball pit, plenty of tables and chairs and spacious place. My family and I went in Saturday evening, it wasn't as busy. We signed the waiver online ahead of time. When we arrived to check in, they had me sign a waiver for my 10 month old even tho she was going to stay in her stroller. Ok that's fine, no big deal. Dad and I were charged $25 each and $20 for my 2 1/2 year old and 10 month free of course. I asked if I had to pay even tho I would be sitting down with the baby and dad would be with the toddler in the play area. She said she can lower my price to $8 for Adult/child fee Ok.. That's fine.. While I was sitting there, I noticed how many tables were dirty and not many families sitting at the tables The play area was disgusting, you can tell they do not sanitize: clean this playground EVER. My toddler found a quarter in the ball pit and luckily brought it over to me. First off, If your kid is above a certain height, you're okay to let them go alone however, if your kid is below, then they need to be accompanied which means you as a parent have to pay for admission, easy 8 dollar add. Then you need to get the socks too, another 3 for the parent. Why am I having to pay for the additional cost because you don't have the staff to oversee the playground? Anyway, whatever, I paid and moved on to avoid issues. Once inside, this place is filthy. There doesn't appear to be any cleaning going on at all! Playground was gross, balls are all nasty, pads are dirty, just overall a bad experience The bathrooms were gross, dirty and not sanitary at all. Overall, we had a fun experience. We took a bunch of kiddos here. It was extra cold, windy, and rainy and they needed to get their energy out while the adults simply watched them do their thing. It's spacious and has multiple areas for different activities and age range. I can't see the anyone getting bored here. I even tried going into the playground structures myself-- crawling, climbing, and going down their slides. LOL It was fun and worked up a good sweat! Haha! It was relatively clean and pretty straight forward in terms of how to purchase tickets and get started. They have a food court area if you're hungry or want a snack. Always check for the daily special before you come here. There is a special every day of the week. During the school year you can enter at a discount during a certain time. It's perfect if you homeschool or have littles at home. They can jump and climb all day for cheap and so can you! We love coming to no surrender when we have something to celebrate. The games are fun, the obstacle courses are fun and the food is good! We love the pizza here! The wings are good too. The place is clean and the staff is attentive and friendly.The laser tag course is big and exciting! From tweens to adults, everyone has a good time. Took my son here to have a play date with his school friends. The staff in the front were friendly and helpful. You will need to sign a waiver before purchasing a course. They had the Adventure course (3hrs), Rope course (20mins) and Laser Tag (not sure on the time, but had a height requirement). We purchased the Combo #1 for $30 which included Adventure Course (3hrs), socks and game card. It was recommended by the staff since we didn't have the grip sock from their place. The adventure course it self was $22 and $3 for the grip socks so for $5 more you get a game card with 60points with combo #1. The place was pretty big. There was also a toddler area, party rooms, snack bar and arcade place. The kids had a lot of fun but definitely can be pricey. Great place for kids to get their energy out. read more

This place is really fun and definitely gives parents a nice break to let the kids run loose and use their energy up. I really had a nice time myself. Had some trouble climbing in some areas but definitely was able to make it thru. Sometimes it does get crowded and some kids are out of control but if you let a team member know, they are usually on top of it in making sure they everyone stays safe. One kid had ran into my daughter and hit her then took off, an employee ran after the kid and told him to slow down and made him show where his parent was. He explained that the kid was being too rough and hurt someone. That parent who didn't care or even apologized just told their kid to go play over at a different area. The employee walked my daughter over to their little station and asked if she was ok and gave her an icepack. I'm just glad the employee took care of the situation even if the parent didn't do anything... because I would have said something to that kid and made him cry. I wish parents would remind their kids to not be so rough and give them a time out if they don't listen. This place isn't a place for the kids to be babysat but some parents do think it is. The place is clean and doesn't smell too bad like the gym. There are a lot of seating areas and sometimes it can get really crowded. Going when they first open is best! The sister, her boyfriend, the dude and I came here to have some fun with my niece just cause as the pandemic we couldn't do much. We came on 11/14/20 around 2:30pm. Upon entering they take your temperature all high tech by having a computer looking monitor do it which we all passed with flying colors. For the little ones they take their temp with a gun temp quick and simple. After that if you haven't signed waivers you neeed to sign it. They have some deals but it can get expensive real quick. For my dude and I - since I got all attractions of laser tag, ropes course, and the play ground to play with my niece. It was about $50 bucks along with the Grip socks. The sister got the family pack which was $120 for everything minus the Ropes course and pizza included with arcade cards. They have adult drinks which is nice. I ended up getting the frozen margarita which was not the worse or the best margarita but drinkable. The Ropes course was no joke scary as you just hope the harness catches your fall and if not you and smacking down in the hard floor below. I managed to do certain parts as it was challenging! And quickly got off after I felt accomplished. The kids area is legit my favorite hands down. I got to play with my niece going the areas and going up high on the structures which definitely made me feel so AGED as I struggled using my upper body strength which I known now I need to train in xD The laser tag was a lot of fun! The niece loved it and our group but at some points it was hard to see not sure if it's just my poor eye sight at night but other than that it was fun to play! The arcade games are fun to play...it was a blast! Loved it. The pizza as super delicious and extremely exceeded my expectations for sure! It was so tasty and delicious and with the perfect crunch! All staff was so friendly and helpful... I love this place!! I want to be a kid all over again haha! Now for the COVID part...staff was wearing masks and if you leave the play areas to go to the main areas everyone needs their mask. However, there were A LOT of people there like a lot so practicing social distancing was nonexistent and probably a hot spot to get the virus as hundreds of kids not wearing masks and adults but if you are cool with the risks for those who are asymptomatic then by all means come on down! The dude got tested for COVID days after as he was not feeling well and it came out negative. So just be careful. You can get COVID potentially any where you come into contact with people not wearing masks it just heightens the risk and this place definitely is taking that risk in my opinion. I recommend to come during low peak hours as they stay open pretty late and I imagine that the crowd will start thinning out which We will do next time. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves here! Fun spot for young children; we took our 15 month old about a week ago, and he loved every area he could play and explore; HOWEVER... My wife and I were very disturbed at the fact that the music playing overhead was explicit - definitely not something I'd expect when the business is designed for children. We heard a Chris Brown song that not only used the F-word but included the word p***y in the song - incredibly disappointing. I guess I'm not terribly surprised when all we saw working were, what I assume were, teens, which is fine but I didn't see anyone over the age of 25 working when we visited and maybe the younger crew thought they could play whatever music they wanted...? read more

My husband called earlier and also stopped in at 6pm letting them know we were coming to play laser tag for the 7:30pm session as that is the last time slot they take and told us. Walked in at 7:10-7:15 and was told we couldn't play as they already shut it off. The manager made up an excuse saying someone came in and said we cancelled. Which is false and a lie on the managers part as our group had been together since 6pm and none of us came in or cancel. How sad for a business to lie and also not care about making money I guess. So a child threw-up in the ball pit. They didn't know where all the child had thrown-up. Instead of cleaning all the balls they sent this poor girl in with gloves and a shovel to find just the dirty balls. HELLO.... Went in for round 2 and it was kids mode again, so someone ask the employee, Six, if other modes were going to be played other than kids mode and his response was, the box was broken and that the cashier should have told us! After the game, we spoke to the supervisor and he had no idea what we were talking about, he stated that the cashiers had no idea what mode was being played and that there was no box to be fixed! He was unable to do anything for us since we paid and played the games! We asked them to bring the employee, Six, up front to clarify the situation! Of course, they were NOT on the same page at all! Six states that he's worked there for 5 years and that kid mode was the mode ALL weekend long and that we should have known! How??? Frustrated! Poor communication between employees! As a team you should all be on the same page with policies and rules! The laser tag employee, Six, told us that kids mode was the only mode playing for the weekend and that the cashiers should have told us and that a box was broken! Supervisor up front said that the cashiers don't know what mode is being played and he didn't know what box was broken! If we'd known that we were only playing kids mode then we wouldn't have paid to play! They need to advertise that they ONLY DO KIDS MODE during the weekends at the register, online, social media platforms!
