I have always told my friends the best time to go to Hobbs grove is Halloween NIGHT! Minimal kids are there because they're all out searching for candy, Which makes this the perfect haunt for adults 21 and UP! We bought the pass that includes the haunted house and Forrest which was very fun! Although very expensive I'm sad I missed the haunted hay ride (my personal favorite) Everyone was spooked but I try my best to make myself laugh in scary situations. All the scare actors were great and painted to the nines! This year I got to experience the hidden speakeasy which beautifully decorated for adults and the bartender was hilarious. Thank you Hobbs grove for all the great years I've spent but 2024 was definitely my favorite. Thank you for the Happy Haunt! Can't wait til next Halloween

10/10 service for everything, from the attractions, to the food, all the way down to the photo shoot team, everyone and everything was so professional, I had recently went to to Planet Pumpkin in Fresno and this place was like Disney land compared to the fair, I recommend it for the family, for the date nights, make the stop at Hobb's Grove, you won't regret it!!

Awesome!!! We went 3 times this year. Free entry. Castro does awesome with the drinks! The first opening night it wasn't great but after they got things together it was a fun time. One suggestion , Bathrooms need lights.

The Halloween event was fun! The lines were a drag for both attractions, but I was carpooling and if it had just been me I would have gotten there earlier. Also this tv actor made my night!! Would definitely go again, just earlier next time

Hobbs Grove located in Sanger. It's a 10 min drive from Sanger. Thursday night Haunted House combined haunted Forrest. And Haunted Hay ride. It was $109 for two adults. It was a purple night which means less expensive. It is scary attractions and worth it. We had fun we came at opening at 7. We were able to purchase at the door. They do sell out. It took about 1 1/2 hrs to do all three attractions. They do sell a fast track pass for approx $20 more. Each ticket. There is food trucks and a few camp fires. And benches and table to hang out. May use website to purchase tickets. Lots of fun but expect large crowd.

Everything from the ambiance to the staff & monsters are so frightening. There is a couple attractions; the Hay Ride & The sanitarium with haunted Forrest. The monsters and scare actors are very detailed and very scary!! I enjoy being scared so if you are like me definitely try Hobb's Grove. The midway is free to enter and listen to good music and enjoy fair style foods. Pictures, wearable swag and pumpkins are all available for guests. There are characters that walk around the midway to interact with guests. Overall a great group of people who make the magic of the Grove come alive every year are amazing and love what they do!!! They scare because they care!

I get very scared easily... IT WAS SO SCARY!!! I was closing my eyes almost all the way and I was still shivering my timbers. Guys if you don't want to be scared don't go in the haunted house. The hay ride was scary too but not AS SCARY...

I had to think about how I would review Hobb's Grove because there was some thinks I liked but what I disliked outweighed the good. Here we go... Hobb's Grove is festive, entertaining, and something to do for mostly the whole family, but that's also a con because the crowds build up very quickly especially with strollers and the bulldozer size they've now become. Seriously, if you're going to a gory place, leave the children at home. No need to bring newborns and toddlers to a place meant for the older crowds. The crowds are over and I mean overwhelming which makes the lines extremely long. The attractions list that they open at 6 but really they open whoever the heck they feel like it. We got there at 6:30 and waited in the Hayride line for almost an hour. People were restless, irritable and discontent while waiting in a continuously growing line. Once the ride opened up we waited another 15-20 minutes. The ride itself was the only reason I gave it 3 stars or else it would've been 1 star. After we finished the hayride, 3 of us got in line for the Forrest and what seemed like a very short line on the outside, turned into a horrendous hour long wait on the inside. This is where my smile turned into a frown; the attraction was maybe 5 minutes long and the people in front of us killed it because they went too slow and we ended up seeing the characters scare them. Now for the biggest disappointment. After waiting in two long lines we were burnt out on waiting (obviously) so even though we bought the combo wristbands, we did t get to enter the Haunted House. That was a bummer that made me bitter until the next day. Haha Anyway the snacks and drinks are good. The restrooms are portable without lights so take a flashlight or use your phone to light up your path. Probably wouldn't make another trip out here.

I love Hobbs Grove so much! I look forward to it every Halloween season and make sure I come visit. I had a problem on my 2nd visit this season and we missed the Haunted Hayride due to being in the Speakeasy and not hearing the last call for the ride. Eventually, I talked to the person that helped and they comped us hayride tickets and fast passes for our next visit. We came back and did the haunted hayride on Friday the 13th which was a lot of fun. The Midway is nice to hang out near the fire pits or get your tarot cards read and check out The Curiosity Shoppe. They do carry a lot of unique items in the gift shop and it's worth checking out if you like oddities, gothic clothing, and Halloween mask. Don't forget the lil pumpkin patch shop! I highly recommend making the trip out to Hobbs Grove!

Heard about Hobb's Grove for Halloween ... decided to go here with the significant other on a Saturday night. The system is pretty easy park your car, go through security and have ur ticket ready to be scanned on ur mobile device for whatever attraction you paid to go to. The haunted house was awesome... long , indoor and outdoor ... the actors/ actresses were very good and some were even pretty funny. They played their parts very well. The outdoor part was great; the darkness added the extra element of creepiness that took the vibe up to another level. The hayride was cool too... the driver was hilarious ... cracking jokes ... keeping it very entertaining. All the staff was friendly and seemed like they loved working here. In the middle of the attractions on the main grounds... food vendors available. Loved the lights on the tree ... pretty cool. There's a little pumpkin patch we're you can take photos yourself or have them professionally taken for $10. Fun Halloween event!

April 2026 - All inclusive package + Extra…read more We picked this venue in June 2025, so we had about 10 months of planning. We fell in love with the grounds- they have a spacious venue with various 'yards' that we viewed in our walk through of the venue. The space is beautiful and natural, if you pay attention to what's around you - you'll notice a ton of little things like honey suckle, fish in the river, and blackberry bushes. We were contracted under their all inclusive option, so much of the planning fell onto me and my fiancé - though we were able to contact Devin, Montana, and Sierra about any questions we have. There was some wait time in response but we came to understood that they have a young family. They would connect us with or share their recommended vendors, many of them had all the items we were looking for and more! Us being rather new to formal events, Montana and Sierra walked us through what is typically expected and timelines- like father daughter dance, bouquet toss, etc and alternatives - so we could think about what we wanted to do or wanted to add. (RBR related vendors - bar / photography) Photography: Devin is really quick to respond and works with all styles of photography I had shown him from our Pinterest inspiration. He's really chill, he walked us through our first 'professional shoot'. We loved our photos that he returned to us! Bar: I forget the bar staffs name, but she was super super accommodating and informative. We brought our own items and she was able to tell us the FL oz and the range of amount for the drinks we desired at the wedding. [leading up to the wedding ] Montana and Sierra would touch base with us and had walk throughs of the facility to talk about our vision, placement, variability in placement (cause it's a huge space), and setting up of the rehearsal day and timeframes. [Day-before wedding] Rehearsal was smooth. We were able to practice as many times as we needed to get a feel for what to expect and do for the wedding. We were able to make last minute changes to the binder plan that my fiancé and I had prepared to meet a better aesthetic. Sierra promptly wrote these new notes down and walked us through pacing and what to expect as well as get our family members to be comfortable with this part of the ceremony. [Day of Wedding] POV you're me and my fiancé. We have 95% planned out and done and we're scrambling lowkey on getting our folks together and on schedule with us an our coordinators. We had some DIY we didn't get to finish - putting photos on backdrops and putting our papers on the seating chart. Sierra and co was able to finish this on our behalf so we can have our day to just be our big fun day with everyone! We never expected them to do it for us and we are so thankful that they did - albeit it was not major DIY (getting ready for the day took us longer than expected). Sierra, Devin, and Montana checked in with us to let us know our timeline for our wedding day and kept us moving so we can get all the big stuff out of the way so we can enjoy the rest of it. Sierra would check in on us to make sure we knew when to be ready by for photos with Devin, where to go for rep-entrance, and when we were done with all the mini events planned. By the end of the night, my fiancé and I were a good silly mood and so happy that we chose venue and so thankful for the team that made the day so smooth for us. They were accommodating and clear with all the little customizations we wanted for our wedding. All we had to do basically day of was bring our stuff, get ready, do our jobs, have fun, clean up our personal items (makeup clothes), and pick up our big items the next day. Our guests loved the venue, the vibes, and the staff. I would love to come here again as a guest so I can enjoy a drink by the riverbed

We all thought it was beautiful and loved how we were able to experience all areas of the ranch and not just a specific place. Sierra and Montana, our coordinators from start to finish provided an amazing experience. Sierra, the day of the wedding was such a stress free day as soon as I got to the ranch. You graciously took care of everything and made it look perfect. Devin, our photographer also was amazing to capture all of these moments for us because I had left my phone in the bridal sweet, which is by the way the cutest room to have myself, bridesmaids, and mother get dressed for the day. My husband says the same about the grooms suite. Overall, we are still dreaming about it and wish we could relive it but this day will always be talked about and remembered because everything was just perfect. Thank you River Bottom Ranch for our beautiful wedding day. Last thing actually, they are dog friendly and our dachshund was a vibe for all our guests including the staff. I could go on and on about this venue and package that they provided us but I 1000% believe this gives twilight vibes for a wedding so if you want twilight this is for you.

It was my son's first time he's 17months, I have an almost 4 yo and my nephew is 8yo. We normally visit the beginning for the month but this past weekend was the only weekend that worked with our schedule and they do recommend visiting earlier since it's not as busy. We arrived just alittle around 11am there was a line at the entrance. Entrance fee is $10/car (suggest carpooling). There was definitely quite a bit of ppl. From reading recent reviews I'd said our experience was better than theirs despite the busy weekend. Thankfully they allowed us in to park, it was busy and we ended up parking on the second dirt lot. We did our normal train ride and hayride. The line for the train ride was extremely long we waited about an hour. But it was also my first time experiencing the train going all the way down to the pumpkin patch area. Which was quite nice, the ride was longer and it saved us a trip walking down hill with our littles. The hayride was probably a 15-20min wait. The prices had little to no change since our last visit 2 years ago. We decided to eat some tacos at Charlie's since they weren't busy and it was the closest food vendor also prices were very reasonable. Ordered 4 tacos and one quesadillas for the kids and it was pretty good, the service was fast and friendly. They addressed the long wait issues and reassured the public that they are working on getting another train, working on a bridge to alleviate the traffic and getting more staff. Overall I do highly recommend going the weekend in the beginning of the month to avoid long waits and the crowds. We did see so many vendors on the area where the train rides were but we were just to tired and so were the kids that we didn't get to check it out. Perhaps next year. The kids had fun regardless. So we had to leave. Good thing I saved the tickets and they honored them this time. They told me if I don't used them that day I could come in Christmas and use them then. I thought it was nice that they do that. So we used two tickets and now we have a good excuse to come back on Christmas. yay! The prices are modest. Everyone around were enjoying themselves. Very fantastic place to spend the evening. They only open on weekends though. So plan ahead.
