Had two outstanding wine flights in 24 hours. Came in Saturday evening and had such a great time that we came back the next day at opening. Day 1. We had a complete wine flight and ran the gamut for our dear friend's bday celebration. Excellent flavors, outstanding location, lovely time with bartender Kelly leading the way. Day 2. Sparkling flight. Beautiful day, despite the rain, and was warmly greeted by Kelly and Patches once again. There will be a day 3. Though we are not nearby, we will be taking some bottles home -- particularly the pomegranate sparkling for a dessertif. read more

The Kings River Winery was part of our wine tour and it was a first for many of us in the group. The winery had a beautiful outside setting and they had a lot of great vendors that complimented the wine nicely when you walk into the winery you are greeted by the hostess who explained what our tasting options were and poured our first sample. I loved how energetic the staff was about the wine and letting us know which wines were the most popular. I enjoyed all of the wines and definitely will come back. I ended up leaving with a few bottles of my own definitely a place not to miss. read more

This place is a great venue for parties both planned and spontaneous. This estate winery has a small selection of reds and whites and fruity sparkling wines. A great place to pack a lunch and enjoy it with a bottle or a flight with friends or utilize their beautiful scenery and party space in the back. read more

My mother and I came in for a red and white wine tasting about 90 minutes before closing, excited to sample local wines. We started with a complimentary sparkling wine and opted for the 2 whites and 3 reds tasting package. The price was higher than listed online, which should be updated, but we didn't mind initially. Unfortunately, the experience was the worst I've had in many wine tastings. The staff poured without explaining any tasting notes (which weren't on the menu), giving the impression they weren't interested in engaging or selling the wine. When we moved to the reds, we were told they wouldn't serve our full package because a bottle had run out. Instead, they gave us separate pours of other wines without consultation or proper pours--my mother didn't even receive one at first. When we declined to purchase anything due to the poor experience, it was clear from the staff's expressions that they weren't happy. While the sparkling strawberry wine was enjoyable, the overall lack of hospitality, unwillingness to open new bottles, and subpar service left us disappointed. I cannot recommend this establishment unless they improve their customer experience. The ambiance is nice and quaint. read more

I went to Galentines Day yesterday and had a blast. The weather was perfect and the music was a variety of genres so everyone had a good time dancing. There were many venders selling things from jewelry to clothes to succulents. Good prices too! There were long lines occasionally to get in and to buy food. We had tacos which were delicious. The wine is good. read more

We've had this certificate since May, but we finally decided to go visit during Veteran's day. It's in Sanger. I'm not familiar with the town to know where in Sanger I was. Considering it was country all around, I'm thinking its the outskirts of Sanger. But, it doesn't take too long to get there from Fresno. (20 minutes-ish) My husband and I met another couple at this location and we had our wine tasting outside. There were lots of tables inside and outside to enjoy a tasting. I'm going to be honest, I didn't expect much. Actually, I expected super sweet wines, some chardonnay that will give me a headache...but, I pleasantly surprised with all of the wines!!! My favorite is the tomahawk. It is a delicious blend that can pair well with anything. It is a red that is light enough to go with chicken, but bold enough to still match a steak. Perfect table wine. It is around *$25 a bottle. My second favorite is the strawberry champagne. Okay, this is sweet, but really a delicious bubbly! Absolutely love this facility! I've been there for a Yoga event which was really nice setting and wine tasting . Last year we have my daughters Sweet 16 and it was a beautiful event. The staff is great... we used both outdoor and indoor area. Lovely areas to take great pics. If your looking for a beautiful place to hold a wedding , Sweet 16 , baby shower etc .. i suggest to take a look a look at this place!! Ill be having future events here. read more

Local, smaller winery. Seemed like they had quite a lot going on setting up for an event because they just weren't as friendly as other winerys in the area. In the tasting got more desert type wines which aren't for me so it was a quick stop. Pretty facility though with a nice out door seating area. read more

KRW is truly coming into its own. We stopped by about 30 minutes before closing, but our server welcomed us in as if we were the first customers of the day. They had two Chenin Blancs, Albarino, Apache red blend (mainly merlot) Tomahawk red blend (Cab Franc/Merlot) and a Zin. Really enjoyed the reds. They also carry Bari olive oil. They're getting ready to open an event venue as well. A nice place to do some staycation wine tasting. read more

We were out riding the motorcycle and had lunch out at the schoolhouse and the bartender turned us on to this winery. So we rode over and had a tasting. It's a nice facility with lots of outdoor seating that would be great in the summertime, and then a small tasting room with a bar and then some pub tables. The windows face the vineyards for a great view. The wine was really good and the service was great as well. We ended up buying a bottle to take home with us and were given one of our tastings for free. All in all, it was a nice visit. read more

Local winery in Sanger, CA. The location you can't ask for a better view of the vineyards and the mountains. The tasting room is so welcoming and everyone is super friendly, and the they even welcome our dog which made the visit even more pleasant. The wines are great and my favorite is the Rose' has a smooth taste, as well as their sparkling wines which is very refreshing. This is a perfect place for a girls day or just to bring a book and enjoy some wine and the peaceful views. They have indoor and outdoor seating so bring a snack or buy one there and make it a great day! read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find a vineyard being from San Francisco. The Reds and white wines were Delishhh. We did a flight of reds and whites and ended up purchasing a bottle of Petite Sirah. It was a Saturday afternoon and there was a lively environment. Some 30 or so couples, drinking and playing games. Horatio Lopez was our viticulturist and he was GREAT! Knowledgable of all the wines, definitely Napa-valley caliber presentation, this guy is the real deal. Great ambiance. Highly recommend it for couples, boys afternoon out, and dates. read more

So disappointed in this winery. This was our 2nd attempt to taste here and still no luck. We first stood by the bar and never got greeted or told anyone would be with us soon. We then sat a table and waited over 5 minutes & still no acknowledgement. It's a shame, it is a nice venue but the lack of customer service makes this a no go. Don't waste your time here, go to Valley Oak, Marechal instead. read more

KRW - will forever be a magical place for me! I had my wedding at the winery at the end of March and it was perfect! The outdoor venue provided a beautiful backdrop for our pictures. Everything was so neat, clean, and very organized. Ashley, the venue and hospitality manager was amazing to work with. We were planning our wedding from a far and she was so helpful. Also, KRW carries a variety of wine (all very tasteful) giving us the opportunity to have something different for each of our guests! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wines. Madeline was pouring and so friendly and very knowledgeable. She welcomed us in even though it was near closing time and as they were preparing for an event. She even asked if we wanted to re-visit. They list was extensive and enjoyable. The reds were lovely but it was so hot that day, we were thinking chilled wine and purchased 2 bottles of Rosado Del Rey and 1 of the Reserved Albarino. The tasting room is spacious and very nice. I have never written a negative review. EVER! This is my first. I love wine and I'm a member at a few wineries. They were having a paint nite, which is pretty cool. I had absolutely no problem with that. What I did have a problem with was the server had us going in and out for every taste. When we were on our last one, 2 more couples showed up, which they were perfectly fine going out to the patio to serve them. I was told we had to go back inside after every taste. We were never given a menu with the wines either, which the other couples were given. We were using our groupon, which my group thought was why we were given bad service. I love giving local business great reviews and would recommend when they are good. Unfortunately we will never go back here again. Oh, the wines are ok. I purchased a groupon that was a great deal for four. It was my first time wine tasting, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Unfortunately there was an March.com event happening which slightly hindered the service of the very polite ladies that work there, but overall if turned out to be a very good experience, I even decided to purchase a bottle to take home and our server gave me a slight discount to apologize for the delayed service.
