These guys are incredible. We had a wedding reception Oct 16 in our backyard and wanted an easy casual feeling for the event, without a disciplined schedule. We met with Sal and Junior and hit it off immediately - the whole process was fluid and stress free. Junior was our DJ and did an excellent job creating the vibe we wanted. We got so many compliments on how much our guests enjoyed the music and the photo booth, our photo booth man was fun and got people to create memorable images. Thank you guys so much for helping to create the magic in this special day. You rock. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! much love, Toni & Mike read more

Long overdue review! THANK YOU SAL AND EVERYONE AT BLISS EVENTS GROUP! My wife and I got married at the darling hotel on 12/12/24, and I think we booked Sal (officially) a few months before the wedding after previously talking with him months before. Even with the short time crunch, Sal had us covered! He gave us very easy forms to fill out with the songs we wanted, when to play them, which songs we absolutely had to play, what not to play etc. Sal took the time to get us on the phone and for the first 30 minutes, he just wanted to get to know us! Asked for our story, what we did for work, etc. and vice versa! We got to know him as well which made everything fit perfectly as time went on! my wife and I had some trouble figuring out songs for some of the formalities like father daughter dance, and some of the walk outs for the wedding party, but Sal was able to nail it with his suggestions after getting to know us a little better! The day of the wedding came and Sal was ON POINT with everything! Sal isn't just any ordinary wedding DJ that goes through the motions of hitting play and making announcements.. He literally goes above and beyond, making everything flow effortlessly without any awkward in between moments, and the fact that we had gotten to know each other.. it was like having a family member DJ the wedding! Also: Our baby girl was 7 months old during our wedding, and we had misplaced her baby formula. Sal over heard what was going on and offered to call his contacts in town to go pick up baby formula for our daughter if we needed so we wouldn't have to worry about it. We ended up finding the formula, but TELL ME WHO WOULD DO THAT?! SAL IS F'N AWESOME FOR THAT! Hands down, bliss events group knows what they're doing. Never once did I ever feel like I had to worry about the DJ being on que or if they were going to be properly prepared. If I ever need a DJ in the future for any type of event, I'm definitely going with bliss events group and would refer them to anyone. Lastly: They are busy! Sal mentioned he was booked almost EVERY DAY in December and we are so grateful that he made time for our wedding. We didn't get a call back right away, but keep in mind.. A BUSY DJ IS A GOOD DJ! GIVE THEM TIME TO CALL YOU BACK! You won't regret it! You're awesome, Sal! Nik & Geraldine read more

We hired Bliss Events to DJ our wedding and from start to finish they were AMAZING to work with. Huge shout out to JR who really put in a special touch to help us have a great night and make our guests feel included and part of the action. I wish there were more stars I could give, 5 stars doesn't seem like enough, Seriously. If you get the chance to book Bliss, do it. My husband and I got married last month and we can't believe we got so lucky since I was so late to book our DJ (our date opened up because of a cancellation due to COVID). Sal was our DJ and I'm not sure I have enough room to write how awesome he is! He is so personable, professional, experienced, and you can immediately tell that he just Loves what he does. My husband is Ethiopian and poor Sal had to announce the many Ethiopian names (which are not easy to pronounce!!) but it seemed like Sal has this goal to learn and pronounce people's names Better than they do themselves!! Haha, He totally crushed it and that is one of the many examples of his attention to detail. I don't think there was a single song played that I didn't like, he even incorporated Ethiopian songs. Sal 100% captured the vibe we wanted and made everything so easy, I couldn't have asked for more. I have had Soooo many of our guests reflect on the wedding and just rave about our DJ. There are so many other wonderful things Sal did to make our wedding so special, but I think you should just book him so you can fully experience Bliss. Thank you Bliss/Sal for an incredible job! read more

Sal with Bliss Events Group was awesome! He helped to bring great vibes to our wedding. He helped to keep events going smoothly, but was flexible when we had to deviate from our timeline. He did a great job of keeping the energy up, dancing going and meeting guests requests. My husband is Hmong so his family was requesting some Hmong songs and Sal was able to find them on the spot! We also got a photo booth from Bliss as the favors for our guests and it was a hit. Thanks Bliss for all your hard work and making our event a blast! read more

**Married on June 24, 2017, reception at The Falls Event Center, Fresno We want to send our most sincerest thanks to DJ Sal for being the most fantastic MC / DJ / HYPE MAN that a Bride and Groom could ever ask for. EVER! Sal put on an amazing program and party mix for us, and Christian and I could not be more proud to have him and the Bliss Events Group by our side to celebrate!! There were so many moments that were just so full of emotion that many times during our reception, Christian and I had to remind ourselves to just FEEL - to not hold back - to laugh, cry, scream, jump, dance, whatever we felt inside! Sal was able to bring that out in us, and we are so grateful! In addition to the music and overall amazing MC skills he brought to our event, one of the other amazing things about Sal and his team was their photo kiosk that was set-up near the dance floor - everyone LOVED it, and we still have guests talking about what a great bonus that was to our event. That night will be with us for the rest of our lives, and we am thrilled to have Sal's energy, talent, enthusiasm, and overall BADASS SKILL be part of the memories that will stay with us for decades to come. What surprised us after the wedding was that Sal and his team put together two, short highlight videos on their Instagram page (@djsalcortez) that are helping us relive every single incredible moment of our night! Thank you, Sal and the Bliss Events Group. I hope you and your team can put 'ChrisMiss in June' down in your books as one of the most LIT AF parties you have been to! Despite all the tears (from me lol), I know everyone had an amazing time, and we have you to thank for that. May you continue to make beautiful moments for couples like Christian and I, and my your team continue to grow and have more success in the years to come. We know how hard you work, and we appreciate every bit of it. Cheers to you!! xoxo - Melissa & Christian Paul RRRRRRRRRamirez!!!!! read more

Sal and his team were absolutely amazing! We came to him with 4 weeks until the big day, with a huge change of plans due to covid. He created a package just for our needs, and was there to help us every step of the way. He was personable, kind, and genuine! Not to mention, our guests were raving about him and his team nonstop after the wedding. Sal and his team are professional, organized, and know how to get a crowd on the dance floor! You will not be disappointed by booking him for your wedding or event. He made our day so seamless and was the absolute best. read more

This review is so late (our wedding was 1.5 years ago), but I have to post it because Bliss Events group was that impactful. They made our wedding absolutely amazing with a photo booth & DJ Davey D. Everyone loved Davey D who kept the vibes right all evening, kept everyone laughing & engaged. Any event I have the opportunity of hosting or planning, I will try to get Bliss Events Group out there. We lived out of the valley for the last 6 years, but now that we're back it's also fun to hear DJ Davey D on the radio frequently. read more

Following my review (the facts of which still stand), Sal messaged me and offered clarification. He was professional, gracious, and took my feedback genuinely from one AV professional to another. Without getting into too many details, there were extenuating circumstances that did not leave Bliss completely at fault for the mistakes. In an effort to accommodate a last minute change from the family, Bliss had to use a sub-contractor (as I suspected) who did not perform to the company's standards. Sal assured me they will be following up with the bride's family and the sub-contractor, and taking appropriate actions to ensure this does hot happen again. While this does not change the quality of work at the wedding, it does assure me that is not up to Bliss' standards or typical of their workmanship. Sal is a good, honest, competent man who is concerned about customer satisfaction above all else. I would feel confident working with him in the future if I ever had an event in Visalia area. read more

Hired DJ Sal for our wedding at The Pines Resort in Bass Lake and it was an absolutely epic night, that definitely couldn't have happened without him. Music selection was A+++, MC skill A+++, Photo Booth was a great addition too. Our reception had 230 people and he kept the crowd engaged/laughing and everyone dancing. For anyone wanting to have an epic wedding reception or just an epic party he's your guy. Highly recommend! read more

Planning (and re-planning) a wedding during a pandemic is not something we ever imagined, but DJ JR always remained positive and optimistic - which is exactly what we needed to get through this. His energy was always, always upbeat in our interactions both in-person and on Zoom - and even via text. We created a playlist of 80s/90s r&b for our cocktail hour and reception - and received many comments from guests about how nostalgic and happy it made them feel, which was exactly the vibe we were going for. JR played all of the songs and more and got our very small dance party started. :) He paid careful attention to the mood in the room (and with us) and adjusted the music accordingly, which was a level of care we really appreciated. He was so awesome to work with from our first meeting to our last, and kept our timeline going on the day of. He also assisted our violinist and officiant with the mics and audio, which was SO helpful! If you're seeking a professional, friendly, kind-hearted, fun and knowledgeable DJ (that knows how to bring the Bliss VIBE) and genuinely cares about your vision - then JR is your guy. We are so grateful for him and so happy he played such an important role on our special day. Thank you, JR!! read more

For my sister's 50th birthday party...more people showed up than expected....Sal was out there rolling in more tables...talking to the crowd. ..he helped out more than I can say. We also played a "name that tune" game and he knew how to work and entertain the crowd and contestants. I was extremely pleased with the music as was everyone else. My wife had came in to book a photo booth with one of their staff at their location. She was able to get her avail. date and off she go with a signed contract by DJ SAL with deposit made. Few days after, without a call she received an email saying they needed to cancel the contract due to overbooking and reversed the deposit. I'm glad it didn't work out and we had enough time to book with another company that doesn't flake. Just wanted to share our first experience with them. Not to bash, but they seem to do great with other clients. Writer IG @phantastic_aperture URL: www.mikephan.net read more

I cannot say enough good things about DJ Sal! His timing with music and moving things along the day of my wedding was impeccable. He went above and beyond with all our expectations. So many guests tell me how much fun our wedding was and how LIT the dance floor was and we owe a lot of that to the talented Sal. He had such a great and positive energy that so many of my guests could feel that. Many have reached out to me and told me how much our DJ rocked. I wouldn't have had any other DJ at my wedding. Where do I even begin... our DJ, Sal, KILLED IT. We will remember him the most out of every vendor we hired for our wedding. He goes above and beyond to make sure your night is perfect. He is very flexible, reliable, and reassuring when it comes to the details of a wedding. He was our hype man and our rock through the whole night. He even served me, (THE BRIDE) dinner and brought me a heater when it got cold. He kept everybody in check when it came down to the timeline. He came fully prepared set up wise, and music wise. Sal showed up early, and was very prompt with set up. He made to sure to communicate with every vendor and keep everybody on the same page. His MC skills were great, interacted with our whole party. He had us laughing and engaged. He knew what to say at all the right times. We also rented a photo booth through Sal and that was the best decision we made. It was SO much fun and an awesome way to document the night. It was complete with backdrop, all props, and unlimited prints. Now we have these pictures of our friends and family to keep forever. Our guests truly enjoyed his energy, as did we. I will recommend him 100% of the time. I can't back him enough. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for everything!! read more

From my first phone call I knew that they for the feel for our wedding and the vibe we have as a couple. Our guests danced all night and has nothing but wonderful things to say. Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! We had DJ Rammzz (Claudio Valero) on our September 2 wedding and he was amazing! Coming from a family who is used to having a live band at every party, I was a little nervous of only having a DJ, but he did it! From the first time we met with him, we really liked his energy and vibe. Claudio was always available when I had my bride moments and needed to talk things out, he was great! The day of the wedding happens to be one of the hottest days of the year!! 110F in an outdoor wedding reception, but Claudio never complained one bit and just did his thing. From getting our drinks for dinner, to escorting people to eat, to setting the perfect vibe for the wedding I could never thank Claudio enough. This was clearly the best day of our lives for my husband and I and I can truly say that Claudio is one of the main reasons why it was so perfect. Will definitely be booking with Bliss Events for the future and continue to recommend their services to friends and fam. Working with Sal was great! From scheduling meeting around our busy schedules to creating the timeline. He was very helpful throughout the entire planning process and kept things running very very smoothly during the day of our wedding. My husband and I got married on September 9th and received many compliments to the great music! Our reception was bilingual in Spanish and English and ranged from very young crowd to older, and somehow he managed to play to everyone's liking. They literally danced the night away and Sal made sure the dance floor was never empty. The energy he brought to the reception was great!!! Thank you for everything Sal! DJ Sal was one if not the best DJ we have ever had. He had everyone dancing all night long and played a great selection of songs to accommodate everyone's taste. From the moment we met Dj Sal at a bridal expo, my bridesmaids and I all knew he stood above the rest. We were right! He was very personable and very easy to talk to about what it was I was looking for in my wedding DJ. Sal went above and beyond for my wedding day! He worked with me for all the small little nerdy details of my musical needs. All my guests raved about how amazing the company in general handled the whole day from start to finish. Sound quality was perfect in every way. He worked closely with all of my vendors as well to ensure any of their sound needs were met. We met DJ Sal and His Crew at the February 2016 Bridal Show in Visalia. It was DJ Jr who we had the privilege of getting to know and talk to the most while there. Jr is bilingual and that came in very handy for our wedding :) Leading up to the wedding, he gladly sat down with us and guided us through. He has done many wedding before, so we gratefully received his advice and he was very open to apply what we wanted. His guidance, helped make our wedding timeline a very smooth one by letting everyone at the wedding know what was getting ready to take place :) Jr is very talented and professional. I have to say DJ Sal is definitely the best DJ out here in the central valley. I have been to many wedding and events and never have had so much fun as DJ made my special wedding day. He is not only professional but pays attention to detail. I asked Sal if he could play both Spanish and English music at my reception and he did such a great job playing great music. All my guests had such a good time. Most importantly Sal goes above and beyond to ensure we (bride/groom) are happy and satisfied with his service. He translated a long speech that my father wrote in English and that was so special and meaningful to me that he was able to do that, although he did not have to. He also stayed a little after his scheduled time and again he did not have to but he was willing to do it. You will definitely not regret hiring him, as I am so glad we booked him for our special day. Thanks Sal for making our wedding a special day! read more

Amazing DJ Service! Very Professional. I was having my wedding inside Sequoia National Park on 04/22/2017 and of course was having a really hard time convincing a DJ service to drive up that mountain for us. But Claudio from Bliss Events Group did! What a trooper, that drive is not easy. We were so happy that they were able to DJ for our wedding and our guests were having a great time all night, everyone was dancing! Claudio even came early and helped me with music for my ceremony and did very well especially with the outdoor music limitations with national park noise regulations. This man, DJ Jose Arreguin, is nothing short of SPECTACULAR!! As anyone who is searching for a great DJ knows, it is not just the kinds of songs the DJ might play, or the type of equipment they might use, or even the amount of great reviews they may have...it is the VIBE you get when you talk to them, when planning any event, and when we met with DJ Jose Arreguin, we saw & felt EXACTLY what my wife and I were looking for when we were searching for a multi-ethnic DJ for our summer time wedding. Let's make note that not only is this DJ is a local to the community, has hosted many events for the community, and has a SOLID reputation for making any party come ALIVE with his amazing MC skills and, of course, the great music selections, but he also has an UNCANNY ability to make any situation ten times better with his experience and positive guidance. From every meeting, to the day before...and all during our wedding ceremony and reception, DJ Jose Arreguin and his team made sure that our day was perfect (sound wise) and that EVERYONE was able to not only hear everything clearly, but also enjoyed the events from start to finish. Our beach wedding was EPIC - the waves were enjoyed, and the ceremony music selections and clarity were superb...what a task that must have been to conquer!! Then, when we moved to the reception site, most of the whole wedding party and guests found themselves unable to resist getting on the dancefloor to more than one song, and many talked about how they loved that they danced all night! DJ Jose Arreguin MC'd our reception and his charismatic antics, laughter, and smooth dance skills paved the way for a night we will never forget! We loved the surprise Loteria game played at dinner, and still have fun remembering the wild and crazy moments that happened all night! Thank you SO MUCH for being a part of our "family" DJ Jose Arreguin, and for all that you did to make sure our day was one of the best days of our lives, thus far!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND DJ Jose Arreguin for any event that requires a great DJ/MC who knows what the guests want and how to TURN IT UP!!!! Thank you! Thank you! DJ Sal was fun and really played to the crowd. I couldn't stop dancing for more than a song or two. Everyone really liked him, and he made the place look great with all the lights as well. That being said, there were a few hiccups on my wedding day. I was at my hair appointment being nervous bride. He did not show up at ten like he had told me, which was making me worry. Also, we had one song for the wedding party, and a different song for the "Bridal Chorus" (non-traditional). He started playing the second song when the bridesmaids started walking out. This was way too early and it had to be replayed. This made me sad because it was supposed to be the special song that was just for the bride. Overall the night was good though. You just gotta take a deep breath and keep having fun so you don't stink up the best day ever. read more

Where can you find someone that perfectly captures the mood and feel of you as a couple, is able to hype up your guests, and perfectly times your dances, coordinates with your vendors, all while making you feel like he's family? Bliss!!! DJ Sal to be more specific, he ABSOLUTELY was the right choice for us for our wedding. He got to know us as a couple, helped us with song selections and helping us decide how to make the day flow best. He even came out to the venue and helped us figure out the best spot to place the tables, chairs, cake, DJ, sweetheart table, etc. Talk about a last minute change, when it came time for our first dance, literally ONE minute before we were scheduled to dance, I asked if we could change the location of our dance to a more intimate spot, "Of course, let's do it!" was his response! It ended up being absolutely perfect, and I'm so glad he was so easy going. He knew exactly how to handle everything we brought to him all while making us feel so special on our day. Sal even gave a great, brief toast, that brought everyone together. We chose a sparkler send off and I'm so glad Sal was there, he gave our guests instructions I hadn't even thought of to keep everyone safe and focused on the fun. That's why you choose someone with experience and a good track record, and DJ SAL has both. Honestly, I'm sure everyone at Bliss does!! read more

DJ Sal and his team MADE our event come to life! He and his team made us feel like we were the only clients that he had. Sal and his team were always responsive, supportive and cared about what we wanted throughout the entire process. In addition, his pricing is competitive but his value is so much more compared to the other vendors that we were looking at. Some DJ's will just play music and that's it....he entertained everyone, understood what the crowd wanted to hear, kept the events moving along and made our whole event come to life. I received so many compliments about the DJ choice from our guests and rightfully so! I highly suggest booking with Bliss Events and DJ Sal if you want your event to be perfect!
