These guys are incredible. We had a wedding reception Oct 16 in our backyard and wanted an easy casual feeling for the event, without a disciplined schedule. Long overdue review! THANK YOU SAL AND EVERYONE AT BLISS EVENTS GROUP! My wife and I got married at the darling hotel on 12/12/24, and I think we booked Sal (officially) a few months before the wedding after previously talking with him months before. Even with the short time crunch, Sal had us covered! He gave us very easy forms to fill out with the songs we wanted, when to play them, which songs we absolutely had to play, what not to play etc. Sal took the time to get us on the phone and for the first 30 minutes, he just wanted to get to know us! Asked for our story, what we did for work, etc. and vice versa! We got to know him as well which made everything fit perfectly as time went on! my wife and I had some trouble figuring out songs for some of the formalities like father daughter dance, and some of the walk outs for the wedding party, but Sal was able to nail it with his suggestions after getting to know us a little better! The day of the wedding came and Sal was ON POINT with everything! Sal isn't just any ordinary wedding DJ that goes through the motions of hitting play and making announcements.. He literally goes above and beyond, making everything flow effortlessly without any awkward in between moments, and the fact that we had gotten to know each other.. it was like having a family member DJ the wedding! Also: Our baby girl was 7 months old during our wedding, and we had misplaced her baby formula. Sal over heard what was going on and offered to call his contacts in town to go pick up baby formula for our daughter if we needed so we wouldn't have to worry about it. We ended up finding the formula, but TELL ME WHO WOULD DO THAT?! SAL IS F'N AWESOME FOR THAT! Hands down, bliss events group knows what they're doing. Never once did I ever feel like I had to worry about the DJ being on que or if they were going to be properly prepared. If I ever need a DJ in the future for any type of event, I'm definitely going with bliss events group and would refer them to anyone. Lastly: They are busy! I wish there were more stars I could give, 5 stars doesn't seem like enough, Seriously. If you get the chance to book Bliss, do it. My husband and I got married last month and we can't believe we got so lucky since I was so late to book our DJ (our date opened up because of a cancellation due to COVID). Sal was our DJ and I'm not sure I have enough room to write how awesome he is! He is so personable, professional, experienced, and you can immediately tell that he just Loves what he does. My husband is Ethiopian and poor Sal had to announce the many Ethiopian names (which are not easy to pronounce!!) but it seemed like Sal has this goal to learn and pronounce people's names Better than they do themselves!! Haha, He totally crushed it and that is one of the many examples of his attention to detail. I don't think there was a single song played that I didn't like, he even incorporated Ethiopian songs. Sal 100% captured the vibe we wanted and made everything so easy, I couldn't have asked for more. I have had Soooo many of our guests reflect on the wedding and just rave about our DJ. Following my review (the facts of which still stand), Sal messaged me and offered clarification. He was professional, gracious, and took my feedback genuinely from one AV professional to another. Without getting into too many details, there were extenuating circumstances that did not leave Bliss completely at fault for the mistakes. In an effort to accommodate a last minute change from the family, Bliss had to use a sub-contractor (as I suspected) who did not perform to the company's standards. Sal assured me they will be following up with the bride's family and the sub-contractor, and taking appropriate actions to ensure this does hot happen again. While this does not change the quality of work at the wedding, it does assure me that is not up to Bliss' standards or typical of their workmanship. Sal is a good, honest, competent man who is concerned about customer satisfaction above all else. Planning (and re-planning) a wedding during a pandemic is not something we ever imagined, but DJ JR always remained positive and optimistic - which is exactly what we needed to get through this. His energy was always, always upbeat in our interactions both in-person and on Zoom - and even via text. We created a playlist of 80s/90s r&b for our cocktail hour and reception - and received many comments from guests about how nostalgic and happy it made them feel, which was exactly the vibe we were going for. My wife had came in to book a photo booth with one of their staff at their location. She was able to get her avail. date and off she go with a signed contract by DJ SAL with deposit made. Few days after, without a call she received an email saying they needed to cancel the contract due to overbooking and reversed the deposit. Where do I even begin... our DJ, Sal, KILLED IT. We will remember him the most out of every vendor we hired for our wedding. He goes above and beyond to make sure your night is perfect. Amazing DJ Service! Very Professional. I was having my wedding inside Sequoia National Park on 04/22/2017 and of course was having a really hard time convincing a DJ service to drive up that mountain for us. But Claudio from Bliss Events Group did! What a trooper, that drive is not easy. We were so happy that they were able to DJ for our wedding and our guests were having a great time all night, everyone was dancing! DJ Sal was fun and really played to the crowd. I couldn't stop dancing for more than a song or two. Everyone really liked him, and he made the place look great with all the lights as well. That being said, there were a few hiccups on my wedding day. I was at my hair appointment being nervous bride. He did not show up at ten like he had told me, which was making me worry. Also, we had one song for the wedding party, and a different song for the "Bridal Chorus" (non-traditional). He started playing the second song when the bridesmaids started walking out. This was way too early and it had to be replayed. This made me sad because it was supposed to be the special song that was just for the bride. Overall the night was good though. You just gotta take a deep breath and keep having fun so you don't stink up the best day ever. read more

Bliss!!! DJ Sal to be more specific, he ABSOLUTELY was the right choice for us for our wedding. He got to know us as a couple, helped us with song selections and helping us decide how to make the day flow best. He even came out to the venue and helped us figure out the best spot to place the tables, chairs, cake, DJ, sweetheart table, etc. Talk about a last minute change, when it came time for our first dance, literally ONE minute before we were scheduled to dance, I asked if we could change the location of our dance to a more intimate spot, "Of course, let's do it!" was his response! It ended up being absolutely perfect, and I'm so glad he was so easy going. He knew exactly how to handle everything we brought to him all while making us feel so special on our day. We hired Bliss Entertainment for our wedding in May. This was overall one of our best choices! We had DJ Claudio, he was AMAZING. Sal (owner) and Claudio were both in constant communication with us leading up to the wedding. He was super nice, professional and a great emcee! He really got the crowd going.
