I cried for weeks. What was supposed to be an eventful day for my guests turned to catastrophe. I reached out to Cindy after becoming overwhelmed with trying to plan my own wedding. As if wedding planning isn't stressful enough, the pandemic had just hit. She was so amazing and helped me plan two weddings. The first was a very small wedding ceremony in 2020 with just immediate family. The second was our larger reception in 2021. Cindy was a great partner in helping us plan our Three Rivers wedding. She went above and beyond her role as a day-of planner and was instrumental in introducing us to vendors in the area, keeping us on-track and on schedule, and providing a can-do attitude throughout the whole process. Our wedding was set to be quite complex, but she was completely unfazed by our plans. Sadly, COVID-19 forced us to postpone our event, but I know it would have been wonderful had it taken place. Our wedding was earlier this year, we weren't really looking for a planner until things became out of control for us and Cindy was the first person we met. Though she was not as experienced in Punjabi weddings and how elaborate and complicated they could be, she was willing and confident in helping us. So we decided to go w her! It was a very stressful process, I mean wedding planning in general is.. we had a pretty good budget but even then things were going over the roof, at times we had to directly speak to the vendors to clarify what we are getting and what we are getting charged for. But Cindy put everything together and made our wedding reception stress free for us. I would recommend her, she did a wonderful job learning our culture and making our dream come true. We needed an event planner as both families, bride and groom did not live in the Fresno area but chose a wedding site near there. The bride found Cindy and she jumped in, even working on vacation to help us find sites for all our events, arrange buses, book discounted hotel blocks, present decor ideas, make all the rental arrangements, negotiate with the vendors to get us the best deal, figure out a way to have an ice cream sundae bar at the reception etc. She promptly responded to all calls and emails, and there were many! For the five days of wedding related events, she was at everything before everyone else, arranged setup, managed cleanup and supervised the details. She even assisted with the guest bags for our hotel guests. She went above and beyond at every step, even making sure the wedding party had food while getting ready! All her involvement and hard work made it easy for the family to relax and have a truly wonderful wedding weekend! I wish I could give Cindy 6 stars because honestly, she planned my wedding and without her it would not have happened as beautifully or as easily (for me) as it did. I found her company through a Yelp search and was impressed to see all the rave reviews. I knew I wanted a very elegant, upscale look but wasn't sure how to achieve it and had heard horror stories of friends and their wedding planners. I was initially out of town living in LA with a wedding to plan in less than 3 months in Fresno so that was a challenge enough! When I got in touch with her, right away I could tell she knew the business of wedding/party planning. Being unfamiliar with the area, I was so incredibly thankful to have found her. She was able to schedule appointments with excellent vendors, plan both main events for my "big fat SouthAsian/Pakistani wedding" and basically plan for every minute detail that I did not even realize existed! My family and I were truly amazed with how she handled everything so capably and with such dedication. I have to say, the fact that she was able to smoothly plan a SouthAsian wedding (in under 3 months!) and understand all the nuances of it without breaking a sweat was impressive. She is truly the kind of person who will make sure everything gets done right and puts 110% effort into it all; her work ethic is AMAZING. Of course, the end result was a stunning wedding and wonderful day that myself, my family, and guests were all delighted to partake in.
