Great prices. You can find just about everything needed for you kiddos young and older.

I was hesitant to sell my kid's outgrown clothes to them because of the numerous 1-star reviews but I'm glad I went in anyway! The appraisal process was fast (roughly 15-20 mins on a Wednesday afternoon) and I was satisfied with the appraisal amount. They gave me $74 for about 15 pieces of clothing and a Baby Bjorn bouncer. The clothes that they declined and returned to me were from "bargain" brands such as Cat & Jack and Old Navy, so I got the sense that they're only accepting clothes from higher-end brands. So if you have a bunch of clothes from Target, Walmart, etc, you're probably better off donating or selling on Craigslist or OfferUp. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience as a seller and prior experience as a buyer. They have a great selection of everything kid-related that you can think of! Some stuff on the shelves are brand new. As someone who is trying to live a more sustainable and eco-conscious life, I am glad that a place like Kid to Kid exists. read more

My first time dropping off some clothes and a new pair of slippers. Was told when I checked in that there may be a 30-45min wait and that because it was my first time, I had to wait in the store. So I followed directions a d placed my items in a bin they provided and walked around the store to shop. Came back to check on my stuff 5 min later and they were thrown into another seller's bin. The other seller said one of the staff did that because she needed the bin. I was a bit surprised that they would do that, how would one know what belonged to who? Then through the 2 hours I waited, yes 2 hours, not the 30-45in they said. I waited right in front of the registerand witnessed the chaos. They had many staff, but only one or two that were appraising. One of the staff pre-sorted my stuff, i only had like 15 pieces, some clothes and a pair of slippers. He picked out 3 pieces that they were not going to take. And then I kept waiting. While I waited, I noticed that 2 people that came in after me was appraised first. I complained about it and they unapologetically said that they were already appraising them and they had smaller packages, which was NOT true, at least for one of the moms, who clearly had more items then my pile. And also, why would they be already being processed when they came after me? I clearly remember who i signed in after and that mom was already out the door an hour ago. Anyway, when the appraiser finally got to my offer, she rejected almost everything g except for 4, and I got a grand total of $4.80. For almost new clothes and over two hours of my time. I even bought two pieces from the store, so I technically came up as negative... Will never be back, not worth my time and patience. read more

If I could give "0" stars I would !!!!! Girl very rude and unprofessional .I brought my clothes in neatly folded and was given back all in a mess . I had to park in a loading zone and .I simply asked the girl do you think it's fine to park in the loading zone while I transfer clothes to bins and she nastily answered me I do not work for the city of Pasadena and I can not control what they do you do what you have to do . I told the girl I am going to go next door and she said I had to stay .I was in the store over an hour and only got $36 such a waste of time and effort . I will never go back to this place again !!!! read more

I love getting all my toddler's clothes here. I always find great deals and with brands I love. We've also bought toys that my son absolutely loves. We usually go here before we buy anything as we found we could most of the time save a couple of bucks. Also, we like that this helps give clothes a longer life and somehow support the environment. read more

My first & last visit, for various reasons. - parking was an issue for me. Either you get lucky and find parking on the street, or expect to walk some distance with your bags & bins. Drove around a couple times and was able to find a street parking space by luck. -employees were nice, and helpful with signing in. -busy Saturday morning, so I had to wait around an hour for my appraisal. They have an option to drop-off but in the meanwhile I wanted to checkout the store. -prices on majority of things were at department store prices. So not much of a deal/offer. - took a bin full of clothes & some toys, and they only offered to buy 8 items, and I walked out with $9 bucks I was so embarrassed with my husband, he waited over an hour in the car with our children to walk back out with my full bin and not even $10 . - I understand they were being selective, and thought I had a great selection of things to offer. Therefore I won't be coming back to sell or buy. read more

Don't go to this store they rob ur money and are super rude to customers they accused me of stealing a toy and even charged me for it when I didn't steal anything at all I was being very respectful ! read more

The customer service at this store is lacking. I called on Saturday Nov. 18th to inquire if they had any 16" bikes. I was put on hold for seven minutes. I figured they must have gotten busy, or forgotten about me, and hung up. I tried calling an hour later and got a recording saying "The party you are trying to reach has not set up voicemail." I tried again several times, two hours later, and got the same recording. Did I drive half an hour to their store to see if they had a 16" bike? Nope. If the store employee was too busy to look in the first place, she could have just said so. But to take the store's phone "off the hook" completely is poor customer service. read more

I used to like this place because they had decent clothing for babies, but I just lost respect for the business. They offer like nothing for the items you bring in. Additionally, it doesn't seem like they inspect the items which they purchase. We bought a baby gate for $60 and we were so excited to use it. Unfortunately when we got home, we realized it was missing pieces for it to be functional. They did not accept returns for baby gear (something that was not explained to us at the register). Won't be returning ‍ read more

Brought 2 bags in with new with tags or slightly used and they bought 2 items ... when i asked why i had pretty good things in there even with tags I was personally told they no longer buy basic brands like cat and jack Gymboree, anything Walmart and a few others I can't recall. They said the buy back to re sell rate isnt the best i can sorta see that however when i walked the store most items were either junkie or huge name brand with a big price tag . I found nothing and the time it took was not terribly long but i didnt feel it was a store for the average mom anymore it feels like they just changed Ps if you bring a toy that requires batteries make sure you provide the batteries and do not expect to get them back even if you ask they consider that part of the donation read more

*** DONATE your clothing elsewhere instead *** *** Their cash payout for your items is very very low. They also do not take much. You would be better off selling for cheap yourself. *** When I was in store waiting for the lady to presort my donation, I browsed. Kid snow bib was $41.99. What? At regular retailers like Target, Walmart, etc, it is only half that price. They have many new knick knacks but it is priced the same as if you went to other toy stores, retailers. Guess it would be a good place if you needed some stocking stuffers. They took over 48 hours to give me a price on my 9 items. I should've actually taken a photo of the things they took. Definitely took a loss on my items. Then on Friday at 630pm, I received an email about it. I felt that it should've been sent Saturday morning. If the store closes at 7pm on Friday, why send me a notification giving no time to take any action. It says that if you don't pick up your cash payout within 48 hours, then it will just go to store credit. I emailed them to let them know that I wouldn't be able to pick up until Monday. But I could see that if you didn't, you would just end up with store credit. (I called. They said that Monday pick up cash was fine.) They can donate your clothing for you. So if you just want a place to drop off kid stuff, you can. Don't expect to receive much of a cash payout. Many items that I dropped off were brand in plastic. I'm sure they will make a killing off of it. You'd be better off donating it while getting a tax write off. If you do need a seasonal red/white Santa dress, they have those. But you could also go to Burlington Coat Factory, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Ross for the same thing new. I'd only go back if I needed a specific item for a show, occasion (Halloween, Xmas, etc) that won't ship in time. Street parking. read more

Fisher price toddler toys such a register and a toy vacuum that has an attachment and still works and makes noise and blocks and a baby bath tub and a magnetic drawing board that sells at target for 30$ They only took 6 items for 9$ You best believe they are going to sell all those items And make some money thank you for the opportunity but people moms are especially single moms DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME I'd rather donate or try to sell on offer up WASTE MY GAS AND WAY TO PRICY read more

Kid to Kid - Lots of toys - Children's Clothing Near Me - Pasadena, California

They have great deals on kids clothes/items (the clothes they sell are actually good quality). Friendly staff and fair pricing (store credit option as well) if you are looking to sell. Highly recommend and will be returning again. read more

They now will only take only the most specific items and offer you very little in value back. I dropped off about 70 items, they kept maybe 10, and of those 10 items valued at a total of maybe $200, they offered a cash amount of $33. I decided to withdraw all items and donate them instead. read more

Huge selection of stuff. We were able to find everything we were looking for and more, from backpacks to jackets to toys to books. All the items we got looked brand new with no stains or rips. I have not tried selling my kid's items here yet, but I love this space as a shopper. This store looks deceptively small on the outside. My family is expanding from 1 to 2 little ones and I just called to ask the process of dropping off items that may not be useful to a household of two little ones. The woman that answered is named Alyssa.... So rude. I asked her how her day was going and gave me a one-worded response "fine". I also let her know that I'd like to drop things off and I'd like to know more about the process and she responds "ok". However, I don't want to label this place just yet until I go and drop off items myself and then I'll make my official review. There's always one bad egg somewhere. Standby... read more

I love coming here to sell my kids things that we don't use anymore as well as buying from this amazing store. I always leave with a few treasures. They have such a wide variety of things from toys, furniture, and seriously whatever you can think of. The prices are half of the retail price and somethings are actually new. You can even go weekly and expect to find new things. And the owner is also very sweet and helpful. Please come support your local store as well as a planet! You won't be disappointed! read more

Not the best return compared to other places and resale prices are almost like purchasing new. (Comment is for used items not new)

NOT WORTH IT They sell things like they are Nordstrom Rack. I could find all these items for cheaper AND NEW elsewhere. They give you about $2 per item/set and then resell for 5x the price. For example, Clothing with new tags showed $15 and they're tags were asking for $26. That's scandalous! read more

I LOVE coming here really great quality toys, clothes, books you name it. Oksana and James are the best, they are very friendly and really fair. The concept is great upcyling for littles is definitely the way to go, I am certainly a customer for as long as I can be! read more

Honestly, I would advise to donate your items rather than sell to this store. The staff was friendly, except for the woman appraising the clothing. I understand that there is a markup and they obviously have to make a profit in order to stay in business. Having said that, after I got my items appraised, I felt I preferred to donate them instead of getting the small amount of money I was offered. I did have a bassinet that she appraised and was going to purchase. After I informed her I wanted to only sell the bassinet and take my clothes back she replied with "okay, well we're not going to do that" - verbatim. Firstly, what kind of unprofessional response is that. Is it retaliation because I chose to take some of my items back? If so, how is that professional? Maybe there is a policy where you have to sell them 1 or more item, I don't know, however, she could have taken the time to say that rather than replying in such way. Anyway, needless to say, I'm definitely not returning/supporting to this business and I definitely do not recommend it. Yes it's great for people looking for discounted clothing- although many of the items are very worn and with stains (i browsed while I waited)- but it's not worth it. You get better prices shopping online when stores have sales or even on reseller websites such as Children's Orchard. Also, they advertise that they give you a certain percentage from what they sell it for, which the percentage is not accurate. I browsed around to look at their pricing, to get an idea of what i would be offered- and it does not add up. Transparency is key, and there's definitely some false advertisement going on. Probably how they code items, as when woman went line by line with me, i noticed she coded some items wrong- probably to give a lower pay out. read more

A great place to sale and buy gently used clothes , staff is very helpful and friendly .

Truly disappointed... I went yesterday took 1 bag of clothes, food steamer and breast pump and was told they do not take these anymore . As far as the clothes they only bought 2 items and gave me $3.00 for both. I asked the 2 young girls yesterday why only 2 and was told it depends on the name brand and it was worn out . The clothes I took did not look worn out I'm not sure they even went trough it all or didn't feel like pricing . I drove 50 min to get this response ! it's kid thrift store for gently used items or new . I saw an instagram video they are looking for size 3t and i took a bag and only 2 things got purchased. I was a repeat customer . I would sell and anyways re buy for something in the store but it is not worth my drive anymore . read more

Very bad customer service i took a lots of kids cloths they only gave me $25 its a jock plus it took them over a week its very disappointing

Great selection of toys and clothes. If you have some time to look, there are gems. Will be going back!

The store is actually quite expensive, sometimes more expensive than if the item was new. The resale amount they provide is very small. The return policy does not seem customer forward. The store and owners have come to feel less about serving the community and reducing waste and more about profit and making money. read more

Went to sell my stroller and was amazed at how much they have in store and for great prices. Definitely recommend as a buyer and even as a seller. I wish we would have known about this place when we first started having children so we could save on things needed. Staff was great as well read more

This place is a SCAM! I was excited the first time I shopped at this kid thrift store months back. Returned for the second time to "sell" my baby clothes in exchange for store credit. I dropped off a HUGE bin of new and slightly used clothes alongside a pair of shoes that were used once or twice. I dropped off on a Sunday and they don't "cash out" on Sundays so I waited for for a response which I received the very next day. Apparently they can't take anything in and I'd have to pick up my items within the next 3 days or everything will be "donated"... that's some bull. I've seen the items they sell and nearly everything is obviously used, stained, or not worth the price. The items I took in are new or practically new!!! Way better quality and in better condition than the clothing they have to offer. They'll gladly take in your clothes, lie to you and say that your clothing has no value, then leave you to decide whether you want to "donate" it all when clearly IT'S A SCAM! They resell your "donations." Just donate your clothes to goodwill, Salvation Army, or family/friends. This place will take your clothes and sell for their own profit. I'll update later with pics of clothes when I get my bin returned. All clothes are new or practically new. read more

A lot of the bad reviews are from ppl selling their items. As far as the store, it's great for someone trying to save money. It's organized and well stocked. They did have a white board with needed items. Wish I had gotten a photo! When I checked out , they were extremely friendly, quick and attentive. My baby got a 80$ toy for 30$. Id come back. I was able to find parking in the front of the store as well. read more

Great place to sell my baby and kid items. Process is quick. Drop off is easy but they only give you 48 hours to pick up your cash or it turns into store credit. The store is clean and I would purchase items from here. They have a section for free items like unopened formula that folks drop off. This place has been my go to for selling the items and I'm definitely coming back. I love that this place exists for everyone in the community. read more

They completely undervalued my items. I've sold here several times and the last time I decided I won't be back. It was a very rude and unprofessional experience. I left the store knowing that they are taking advantage of those that come through their door. Don't waste your time. read more

Ridiculous prices for second hand items . Honestly most of the price on the items are very high to be second hand ...you are better off just buying new items from Ross , Walmart & Target than shopping at this store. Highly disappointed. read more

We were in the neighborhood and I had always wanted to check it out and I'm so glad I did! Walked out with a ton of higher end brands for fraction of the price. They were WELL stocked. The cashier was also super friendly and she was very understanding of my overly excited kids. Also, just want to say that if your item(s) gets turned down, try not to take it personally. It could just be that they are overstocked of that size or item. Reading all the reviews is a real bummer because my experience was great. Can't wait to be in the neighborhood again! read more

Unpleasant Experience: Long story short, the entire experience was a waste of time and feels very much like a RIP OFF/SCAM! For items that were in great condition and of premium brands (Jordans, Adidas, Nike, etc.), I was offered a paltry $24. However, the issue is less about the low offer (which I somewhat expected understanding how resale stores opperate), and more about the fact that I had not even been given the opportunity to DECLINE the offer and receive my items back, before they were already put out on the store shelves. Additionally, the employee that handled my transaction today 1/28/23 was very unwelcoming and curt. Also, the process is very inefficient as I dropped my items off last Sunday 1/22/23, and never received an email notification that an offer was ready. I had to call MULTIPLE times for a status update, which is very inconvenient. I also regret allowing them to donate the rest of my items that they didn't buy, because I have a sneaky suspicion that there's a lack of integrity in that process. Bottom line, I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS STORE AGAIN. read more

Have been bringing kids clothing her for a while now usually the buyout is decent but this last time I brought more than usual and all slightly used and some Brand new they offered me basically nothing doubt I'll ever come back there just talking advantage at this point I know everything is getting more expensive so I understand but $20 for good condition clothing was unacceptable I just feel like I don't trust them at this point because it made no sense at all I honestly am hoping they mixed up my drop off with someone else because when I came in to pick up my buyout the girl said someone else name and I told her I'm pretty sure my box was mixed up and she just ignored me and handed me the $20 my husband was waiting for me in the car only reason I just left and didn't stay to figure it all out but this place is getting more expensive and then buyout bas completely unacceptable for the items i brought in curious to see if anyone reaches out to correct this ....I'll wait read more

The service here is horrible. Came in on Saturday. There's two girls working in the sell area. The girl upfront didn't acknowledge us didn't say anything. We waited for about 10 minutes before she rudely said what do you need? I'm here to sell and she goes you log onto the computer OK well that would have been nice if you told me that when I was standing here for the last 10 minutes, no customer service skills at all!! Log onto the computer still don't know what to do. Ask the other girl and she says put everything in the bin and it'll take about an hour so they want you to stay in store for an hour cause I asked if we could leave and she said they won't touch your stuff if you're not in store, that's ridiculous!! What are you supposed to do with the toddler for an hour inside their store! Unfortunately, we will not be back here and from reading other reviews it sounds like they give you pennies for brand new tagged items!! read more

My complaint is with the buy process at this store. They claim to buy for 20-50% of the sale price. What they don't tell you is that they don't accept 99% of what you bring in. If there is any misunderstanding, the owner Steve will tell you he and his store are perfect and any misunderstanding is baseless and your fault. I dropped off two bins of very nice clothing. Lots of Carters, Gap, Gymboree, and H&M. I was shocked to get a buy price of $14 for everything. When I asked why so low, they claimed to only have selected 7 items out of the entire stock. I couldn't believe this as the items had some very nice dresses and sweaters in there as well as some barely used items. When I said I was upset with the buy, the owner Steve sent an email that basically said their buying process was flawless, and if there was any misunderstanding it was on my part and that it was baseless and my fault. I knew this was not true. When I went into the store, the staff were nice. The buyer Cera said that there was nothing wrong with the dresses. They simply did not need dresses. I was able to get a lot of my stuff back. However I will not be returning due to the yucky nature of the owner, Steve. The Kid 2 Kid franchise site says these stores sell over $700,000 a year. I would rather support a worthy cause than line the pockets of this narcissist for a $14 payout. read more
