It's a great concept since babies outgrow their clothes quickly. Experience at the store was fine. Parking was convenient on the street. And their seemed to be adequate staffing during the time I went. The responses seen from owner on yelp however does make me feel hesitant. I often appreciate owners responses, it lets you know they care but I feel low reviews could be addressed better. Often times it may be more off-putting how the owners respond versus the 1 star review itself.

But this past Sunday, my husband, our little girl dog and I finally got a chance to visit since we were visiting Old Town Pasadena during the afternoon. When we walked in, we were greeted by an employee behind the register at the back of the store. This store is very cute and really would be a little girl's dream because of all the unicorns, pink, glitter and sparkle. I ended up purchasing a mermaid coloring book for my nieces to add to their Christmas gifts that I have for them, but not sure if they are even into mermaids (and my husband doesn't seem to know either if they are or if they are into unicorns. These little girls change their interests so often it is hard to keep up). But I'd love to take them to this store and see if they would want anything (and knowing me, I would most likely let them each pick out one item and I would purchase it for them). There were a few associates on the floor conversing with one another. I wasn't greeted or asked if I needed assistance. I was surprised with how big the store was. There was also a separate children's and men's department. The dressing rooms were clean but unattended. Everything was organized, except for the sales racks. I usually find great scores on sales racks but the garments were crammed onto the racks, which made it difficult to sort through. I noticed that some of lower priced clothing was poorly made - throw away pieces for under $10. The higher quality items are pricier. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything that fit properly so I'll have to use my gift certificate another time. *Parking is 90 minutes free with validation. Ticket validation machine is near the register.

This store seems to cater to the white and 60+ set (that's all there was at the store both times I've visited) and if you don't fit that demographic, they don't care you'll be dropping $5-600. I wanted to support a local business but I rather make the drive back to the country mart than give my money to a shop that does not value all of their shoppers. Perhaps I expect too much out of my shopping experience, but now more than ever (pandemic) I want my limited entries to shops to be memorable. There's a reason folks choose to shop local. The beauty of life here is that no one is forcing you to shop here specifically. If the price doesn't fit your budget, drive the distance to another shop, pay the fee to buy it elsewhere and have it shipped to you, or you can fly to Europe and buy it directly at the stores there.
