How dare I not know about this cute little boutique! After accidently stumbling into Adira's store when my car broke down in front of it haha best thing ever!! ...I could not stop myself from going back in, to see what she gets in. It's like an addiction for me. I'm the Dutchess for goodness sake. I seriously have tried on every hat and finally came to buying one b/c truthfully I wanted to buy all of them. Adira is truly one of a kind- not to mention has a flare for fashionable vintage styles and can tell you what era and designer, plus brief history of each item. Wow right?! From Valentino to Ferragamo (pumps, bags, clutches, sunglasses, etc.), all of her items are either new or gently used. Prices are very reasonable and if you bring in friends and family like I have, she will totally take care of you- Ahh I love her! I bought my favorite ring here... size four, so unique, so perfect, I'm so lucky I snagged it- her items go fast!! Oh and I cannot wait until she has a tea party, I'm all over that!! My cousin and I were wondering where we can flaunt these extremely beautiful hats and thought... OMG, the Santa Anita horse races! lol- like Pretty Woman... that's like 5 miles away ;) So if you're in the area, you need and must stop in to see what she has in store. Lay-away if you need to, that's half down b/c you will never see another one like it and if it's gone-it's gone and you really loose out on a very special item. We chatted about my favorite styles and the enduring quality of vintage fashion. She helped me pick out some fabulous pieces (that I would have never put led myself, seeing as I'm miserable at knowing my own size). The store is packed with amazing finds. The owner, Adira, is very sweet and she has a wonderful mix of vintage and newer designer clothing. She has everything from mint condition 50's bullet bra's, pill box hats, poodle skirts, shabby chic home decor, and the list goes on! I usually don't write reviews, but this is the worst place I could have ever given my business to. The owner Adira is EXTREMELY DISHONEST. I came here to get my wedding dress altered by her, and she ended up charging $50 more than what was discussed before I picked it up! She had also "made some extra changes" to my $5,000 gown which she did not ask my permission to do. She ended up widening the neckline of my dress when I specifically told her to make it tighter, then after confronting her of the issue she lied! When I paid for my alterations, she did NOT print out any receipt, NOTHING. I later discovered that she had posted pictures of me in my wedding gown on her public Instagram without asking me permission to do so. She had done the same thing to a friend of mine. I was furious! I don't recommend her services to anyone! read more

I am an avid thrift/vintage lover and also a mother. Tried to shop here and the woman tending to the shop at the time wouldn't allow me to have my very compact stroller in the store. Super odd and made and feel very unwelcome. I could understand if if it was a double ginormous jogger, but that wasn't the case. It's a one room place, so it would not have been in the way. Bummer- super turned off by the customer service, which is usually top notch in mom and pop shops. read more

I'm very new to this site and the first place I could think of writing about was Adira's. One of the best boutiques I have been to, if not, the best! I remember the first time I walked into the shop, I happened to stumble upon the store last spring after lunch with my girls one afternoon and I just had go in because everything that was being displayed was to die for! I dragged my friends (not that they felt forced in any way) as well! As soon as soon as we walked in, Adira welcomed us actually made us feel genuinely welcomed! We looked at everything and I mean, everything! The best part is, seeing that we are young, she never made me or my friends feel like we come off as shoplifters, like most places do and how one can feel their eyes on them; I felt trusted and "grown up." My point is, Adira welcomes everyone. Now to the best part.....CLOTHES, HATS, SHOES, AND ACCESSORIES! I have to be honest, I don't know many name brands but I know beauty, the feel of quality material, and most definitely prices! At the time, I was just an unemployed college student and even then, I was able to afford most of her items! I have at least 7 dresses from Adira's four pairs of shoes and endless amounts of jewelry! I can't wait to go back, especially when she has her tea parties! I went to a couple and I love the 50% off discount if you go into the shop going along with the theme. Like wearing pink for Valentine's day, Green for St. Patty's and red, white and blue for 4th of July. I just have to say before I wrap it up, I love getting head turns and double looks when I wear this gorgeous blue dress with a low cut I bought from her shop. Really boosts up my confidence! I went to Adiras vintage based on great yelp reviews. I had a big evening planned and Adira helped me find the perfect dress. I went home that evening to get ready for my event. I put the dress on, sat down in a chair and the zipper split all the way down the back of the dress. Needless to say I was devastated and I had nothing to wear to my event. I went back the next day to return the dress and explained to Adira what had happened. Her response was "that's what you get when you buy a vintage dress" and "because it's old you never know what can happen". Give me a break, Ive bought many vintage dresses and have never had anyone say that to me. I was out $136.00 and a dress that I couldn't wear. Such a great experience going here!! First off, when I arrived the shop was technically closed but the owner saw me and came and unlocked the door. I told her I already knew what I was looking for, she invited me in and in less than 10 min found the items I wanted (I was looking for a 1940s black veiled hat and a 40s black wiggle dress). I was wary at first about the fit of the dress but she invited me to try it on to make sure. Absolutely perfect! She also gave me an incredible deal on both items. Adira's shop is my all time favorite vintage store. She gets some of the most fantastic pieces and if the piece is too big she's an expert seamstress and will alter it to fit you!! Sometimes I bring in items to her that I have purchased elsewhere and she'll alter to fit me perfectly. My wardrobe has improved considerably since I started shopping with Adira. Absolutely incredible. She had the widest variety of vintage I have ever seen in my life, and I had to stop myself from buying everything in the shop! It was even more of a struggle because everything she sells is such a steal, such amazing quality for such a low price. I especially love her hats (even though the clothes are gorgeous too). She really knows vintage fashion, unlike some stores where employees don't have a clue; they're just there to ring you up. She carries some beautiful pieces, and the collection of hats is amazing.
