It's adorable and resembles the ideal playroom. The owner did a great job of creating a welcome environment for children. The shop is organized and you'll find toys from around the world, books, clothing, shoes, accessories, and unique gifts. They even have educational toys, which I prefer to give. I drive @45 minutes to get there and had actually selected a jacket for myself. I tried on the jacket and noticed that there was a $32 discrepancy between the coat on line versus in the store. I waited in the long line (holiday sale prompted throngs) and told (& showed her the jacket I had saved in my phone) the owner what happened. She asked me to wait to check. I waited a good 15 plus minutes during which time her assistant took down the coat from the web site and made it reflect the higher price. Then she brightly asked if I wanted to try it on again and I said no, I need to leave and then she said she wouldn't honor the price that was listed on line stating it was a human error and she was running a small business. I think it is bad form to not honor the price that was listed. She has known than I've brought friends who have spent significant money in her store and I come to her from great distance for years...this was their mistake and I think it's extremely poor form to not honor what was listed. This is customer service at its worse. So much for loyalty. I could easily have bought the jacket on line and picked it up at the store but I thought that would not have integrity. Come to think of it, her actions didn't have integrity. You would think she would cultivate keeping her loyal customer base. What a disappointment.

But this past Sunday, my husband, our little girl dog and I finally got a chance to visit since we were visiting Old Town Pasadena during the afternoon. When we walked in, we were greeted by an employee behind the register at the back of the store. This store is very cute and really would be a little girl's dream because of all the unicorns, pink, glitter and sparkle. I ended up purchasing a mermaid coloring book for my nieces to add to their Christmas gifts that I have for them, but not sure if they are even into mermaids (and my husband doesn't seem to know either if they are or if they are into unicorns. These little girls change their interests so often it is hard to keep up). But I'd love to take them to this store and see if they would want anything (and knowing me, I would most likely let them each pick out one item and I would purchase it for them). Overall, I really enjoyed my shopping visit and would come back for gifts in the future (maybe could also find a fun white elephant gift or a secret santa gift in here too).

The store was completely picked over--bare shelves, no stuffed animals, but a plethora of overpriced leotards and dance-like costumes. I guess somewhat understandable, but still disappointing. My daughter left extremely saddened. The second time we came (and also *paid* for parking), we walked to the entrance to find it--CLOSED (6/9/26)! I had to whip out my phone because why would a store be closed on a Tuesday at a day and time of normal operating hours? Another family with a little girl asked if we came to see the store and I said yes. She said they posted on their Instagram they were closed and were also saddened they couldn't go inside. I get that things happen but we live 1.5 hours away and made a dr specialist appt nearby and made sure to stop here specifically since we were finally close. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is. I don't go on social media to make sure a business is open that day. I *did* check their website and they were supposed to be open. From what we saw the first time around (picked over items) and what we could see through the glass the second time, we won't ever be coming back for a third time. The store is small, not a huge selection, but a higher price point for the same items found elsewhere. I told my daughter if she saw anything through the glass then I would just google it and buy it online for her. I would much rather support small businesses but it makes it hard when they don't really seem to value their customers. As I said, this store is quite small and doesn't have anything we wanted that we couldn't buy elsewhere. I wish they were better stocked the first time and had more employees to actually run the business during their supposed operating hours, but this just left my daughter devastated and me frustrated and angry the second time. We won't be back to be fooled again. Shame on us.

Store has gone down hill. Two years ago it was perfect. Selling big ticket items like high chairs, strollers, swings..etc, worth it. However when it comes to name brand clothes, don't bother. Just sell it yourself on FB marketplace or Depop. I was so busy and distracted with my little one I didn't pay attention to what they took until I got home. So that's my mistake, cause you can say no after you waited an hour in the store. But they went in for the name brand stuff and didn't touch the Carters or Disney. They took NIKE, BabyGap, Kyte, Adidas, Vans and Halo. That's fine but what they offered me wasn't worth it since everything I offered still had tags on it & in season. Parking for the store is a pain, following their process on how to lay out the items takes time and work. So yeah. If you don't care about the money and have time to kill go for it but chances are they might not take it, but what they do take you'll realize you could've sold it just $5-$10 cheaper on FB. Also little tip for boy moms, their girl section is larger so the chances of them taking boy clothes are slim to none.
