We absolutely love this place for my daughter! The selection is wonderful, the staff are friendly, and selling/donating is made trivially easy. Also, this is a bit of an aside, but last time we visited my car broke down, and the INCREDIBLY gracious owner called her husband who came at a moment's notice to give me a jump. We couldn't find anyone on the street who was willing to help, and -- out of pure desperation -- ran back into the store to ask for assistance. They were both so kind and compassionate; we were beyond touched. Thank you, Kid to Kid! You're a real one! :) read more

Ah so the owner who replied to me is kinda a d*ck. And for that reason I won't be back. No wonder they have such poor reviews. I actually left them a fair, nice review and he's criticizing it. So now I will update my review: This store is so overstocked with everything probably because it's overpriced for used items. You have to be cautious with what you pick. I saw an H&M onesie for eight dollars, which is ridiculous because it's probably cheaper new and brand new Old Navy onesies are like five or six dollars.. so for cheap brands like Old Navy, gap, H&M, Zara you're better off just buying new or shopping in Marshall's, Nordstrom rack, target etc. read more

1. No bathroom. Supposed to be a store for families. They send little kids and families blocks away to pee. My 4 yo had to go so bad and we had to run down the block. NOT COOL. 2. Prices are super high! The buy clothes items for $1 each and resell for 8-25. 3. Get ready to wait 4. Staff is at least super nice! read more

it was my first time here and i loved it ! I had seen their account on my Instagram. I am a big fan of thrifting and buying pre- items and giving them a second home. I love that everything was affordable and the staff was super nice. I would definitely tell my friends. read more

I recommend calling the location to confirm they will accept your items, as this was not the case even though their website says they receive certain items. There is no convenient parking for selling your items; only street parking is available. We drove nearly an hour to find this out, and we had our 3-year-old daughter with us. It was quite disappointing. read more

They give great service in there, very cute store they have an everything you could think of here and more, all clothes different sizes from newborn to kids. Great location as well. read more

Don't drive here from away to sell because the sell process changes every time I come. This last time the wait was 2 hours and you have to stay in the store. There's no where to sit and the bathrooms didn't work. Someone in front of me had the equivalent of 10 bins!!! It used to be 1 bin! You can drop off, but if you came from another city coming back in 3-4 days is not practical especially when you might only get less than $20 for your items. Overall not the best use of time. How hard would it be to let someone know 10-20 mins before they get to your bin? read more

Love! So many good baby clothes and all in very good condition. I scored some good deals on some clothes for our soon to be baby. We have a lot already but I needed some newborn sleepers that he may or may not used and was able to get a couple for $1.99. Our nursery theme is also old vintage - Ralph Lauren inspired so I was able to find a couple of Ralph Lauren pieces that was pricier but a steal compared to retail. read more

Wouldn't come here again to sell nor to buy. Would much rather donate to Salvation Army. Save yourself the hassle, this place isn't worth buying from nor selling to. Everywhere I looked there was clothes for sale that looked dirty and raggedy. And their customer service is below poor. read more

At first, I thought this place was a necessity for parents. They have a good option of everything you would need for your baby. Although recently, I went in and bought a walker for my daughter. The manager and I took a look at it before purchasing to check for any issues. She and I agreed that the walker looked good for my baby to use. I took it home and a week later, put it together for my daughter to use. Unfortunately, the walker was broken and did not function properly. The handle piece fell off the bottom part with the wheels whenever there was pressure applied. That's something I didn't check for at the store. I took it back to the store (less than 2 weeks later) for an exchange or store credit and the owner refused to give me either. Apparently anything purchased from that store is non refundable or exchangeable if it's not clothing, even if it's broken. Their return policy is heinous and that's why I won't be shopping there again. read more

Before anything I will say. Make sure you're not in a hurry when shopping here, the hired staff are friendly, and they have a large selection of good stuff! So I'm not writing to bash this business at all because I think overall it's a good spot. However, I think people should be treated with a bit more respect. You keep people coming back and they become loyal returning customers by being friendly, sincere, or just being kind because you never know what people are going through. Anyway. I visited the store yesterday for my first time. In all honesty some of the baby things were a bit pricey. I found some cute stuff anyway (for both of my kids) scooped them up and left happy spending about $50. I was even happier thinking I can come back to sell some stuff I have that my daughter has outgrown or never used. I returned today to sell and possibly pick up a few more items. To my surprise they offered me $1-$2 for some brand new items or worn once type items that look new. When I was trying to ask the associate about the amount after she let me know that it was due to an overstock of the item I was trying to sell a man (the owner) intervened in our conversation and said basically the price is the price. Rude, but I said thank you anyway. Since I couldn't figure out why the reviews were so bad here I understand now. This is not a "vendors scorned" situation either this is about the treatment of people. Stephen, you have a great store, but I just feel that kindness goes a long way and it's not that you were extremely rude to me today it was just a bit unnecessary. After reading the yelp reviews, I think that the customers should matter just a little more to you (based on the responses) since we are the reason to keep your business going. That's also Including the items that we go to your store to sell. I'm not complaining about the fact that it was only $1-$2 dollars for each item. It's just shocking that they are bought at that price after seeing what some of the things cost in the store (for example $10 for some baby pants or $15 for a little girls casual dress) that's why I was asking your associate. Regardless, the yelp responses are very concerning so I'm not sure what kind of response this will get. read more

**do NOT sell your clothes here. It is an insane ripoff and feels like a scam to be honest. I brought in 2 huge bags of nice clothes and shoes, in good or decent condition, and they gave me $6 in store credit. I've bought clothes there that had holes in it so I find it hilarious if they're being that picky. Or they are paying 25 cents per item. Anyway go anywhere else to sell stuff ** read more

Love Kid to Kid Pasadena! So refreshing to not fully feed into the baby consumerism, especially when kids outgrow things absurdly fast. I've both sold things and bought things here, and feel that if you shop right, you definitely get a decent price - i.e. $4-5 for girls' jeans. At least for me, a little part of the reward is knowing that I'm not contributing to the ridiculous buy-buy-buy consumerism. You definitely do NOT get a lot for selling them items here, but again, for me, that's not the purpose. Would rather know that my gently used plastic blocks/toys/clothes/walkers/gimmicks have a second (or third or fourth even) life. It's really nicely organized by gender and size, and very clean. The staff is usually very pleasant and helpful, but sometimes during busy times (weekends and/or after 3pm) there is a long wait to sell back your stuff. read more

I will definitely be coming back to this store! The staff are friendly and helpful. We were able to find amazing things for our baby at a fraction of the price! Very impressed with the selection they gave everything you could dream of. read more

Not really sure why they would have a store for women (pregnant or otherwise) and children without a restroom... but besides that: rude staff and mediocre selection. read more

Great spot to find deals on preloved and new kids items. Prices are amazing as well! Found so many goodies here clothes, Toys and equipment!

Easy and efficient process to sell clothes. I had name brand items and some almost new (worn once) items. I received about 10-15 percent of resale value for my items. $1-1.50, for example. If you are comfortable with 10-15 percent (more than you get donating), go for it. read more

Would never recommend this store. It's jam packed with junk and yet they never buy anything

Went in to sell the clothes that my baby out grew. I first heard about this place on an instagram ad. I was excited that I can basically trade my clothes for some old new clothes and it supports a local business. I waited the 30min and I shopped during that time. I brought in 3bags and they told me that they don't need much for that size. She didn't let me see what they picked out but the $cash offer was $15 and store credit was $18. Later on I looked at the receipt and it stated they bought 11 items. I looked though my clothes and as mother; we always know all the clothes her baby has since I bought them all, price at retail and they were all the ones that still had the tags or where Nike, and Jorden. That a $1.36 an item. Sorry but I'm not going back. They are selling their Nike and Jorden for 17.99 and $25. I will just donate my clothes and keep buying from Ross and Burlington read more

Great clothes and great prices great store!! Friendly helpful staff. I always find something great!

As a mom with an 8 year old and a 2 year old, kid to kid is my go to every season change or growth spurt. Both my kids find ample choices and I brought my husband along once and he couldn't believe the prices. All my friends that are first time moms, I blow their minds bringing them here because they can outfit a newborn with everything and a fraction of the cost. So all these negative reviews are bonkers to me. I've been here atleast 15 times and never had an issue. Bring a bag, and enjoy the shop. read more

Overpriced for used items. Not much of a difference than buying it new . Not worth shopping here read more

I've been so looking forward to visiting kid to kid since I love the idea of getting more use out of perfectly good items (especially kids' clothes where they wear 'em a few times and then grow out of them). I also appreciate saving money so being able sell gently used item is awesome. I stopped by on a weekday morning with 4 big bags and while I appreciate the easy street parking and staff were decently friendly, they only offered me $3. For all of my effort to sort through and bring them in, I'm going to post items on buy nothing instead. In terms of items to purchase, there was a decent mix, best for 1-4 year olds, although they did have a maternity section. Since they prioritize people that stay (and of note, it'd be nice to have a small seating area), I wandered extensively around the store and didn't see anything that I wanted to buy. I really want to love you, kid to kid... read more

It was a very easy process to drop off and donate the old children's items that we did not need anymore. They also offered to donate what they didn't buy, which made me feel good that it was going somewhere that those items were needed. read more

Buy nothing is my normal go to for one use items, but it's understandably limited, so i searched for nearby secondhand shops and ended up at Kid to Kid Pasadena. Came in for Halloween costumes and found a gem of an outfit for my kiddo for less than a costume purchase online, plus seems to be good quality. Organization is imperfect, but they definitely put in a good effort. Decent selection for 8-12 year old age sizes which is normally not as readily available secondhand. Costumes are right in front right now, so that helps too! Staff if hit and miss. Asked someone stocking for help locating a price and they were helpful. Person working at the cashier was not however, they said no bags are provided and just left my items for me to gather myself, no attempt to fold or hand them to me. Overall I'd check out this store again, we found some great items at good pricing. read more

Staff is very friendly . clothing selection for baby girls was nice . big boys selection large and Xl was lacking but had a few pieces . Pricing on some product seemed a little bit too high . toy section and the back of the store seemed a bit unorganized . BUT friendly check out and interaction with employees make up for it. so I will be going back read more

I took several item to the store and they only take stuff that is close to seasons like Xmas Halloween and thanksgiving.. all brand Carter's and a costume for Halloween, they only payed me a dollar for the items and they resell it for more expensive. Better of selling it on your own. read more

I found EXACTLY what I needed here. I swear, no one has baptism outfits for babies. Not ebem clothes that are just simply white and no designs. But this place did! While there, I was pleased and impressed with all the amount of clothes, toys, strollers, play pens, etc that could be found there. Ages from newborn to probably 6-10 yrs old. I got myself an account because I KNOW I'm shopping here from now on. Everything is good quality and clean. I also appreciate the fact I can donate back or sell things here in the future. They also have a points system with the account. For every $10 you spend, you get a point. Get so many points and you get discounts. Tldr -- shopping here for clothes and toys before anywhere else first. 100% recommend. read more

SCAM!!! don't waste your time & gas to come here! You're better off gifting it to someone else or donating it. Old employee there is very rude. So expensive and the value of things is ridiculous. They claimed that my family brought in a roach when they couldn't prove to us in which bin it came from. The old employee stated she showed me the roach when I asked her from where it came from. She said i have it on camera. She never showed me anything and ACCUSED ME of it. Believe me I will never be coming back. Pathetic folks read more

Create an account if you intend to return or exchange. An original receipt is insufficient. I was not informed prior to purchase and this is not posted on the return policy sign. Upon trying to return, the store owner told me it's implied that an account must be created in order to receive store credit or exchange. I was given the option to resell at about 30% of the purchase price. However, an account plus ID also must be created to sell, because some resale items could be stolen and the store will hand over your information to law enforcement. read more

This store has gone downhill fast. I bought a dress yesterday that is torn and missing parts, like that would barely make the free pile but they wanted money for it. Everything here is way overpriced, especially for the condition and a lot of it looks really old. I won't be returning or telling other people to visit anymore. read more

I have been to this store a couple of times. Sometimes I get lucky and get really good items for a good price. However, there have been times where I find clothes and the price for being used isn't worth it. It just depends. I tried selling some items and felt that a $1 per item was not really worth it. Maybe I'll try it again in the future. I For the customer services, it's been good. If I ask for an item they are willing to walk me over to the area where I can find it. I also like that they have carts because then you are able to look around without having to worry about your little one touching or trying to go every where. read more

I love shopping at Kid to Kid Pasadena. The store is bright and easy to shop, and they carry high- quality, stylish clothes. This Pasadena store is my favorite place to shop for kids' clothes . They truly deserve more than 5 star! read more

They have a great selection of clothes including dancwear and dance shoes. Staff is always super friendly as well

they were kind and helpful in answering questions, even helped me bring large item to car.

This place was okay... a lot of their products are a hit or a miss. Some are in good gently used shape and some of them are in really bad shape. You would think that because they specialize in baby/kids clothes it would be a little bit cleaner, but everything is dirty, stained or dusty. One of the cashiers was super nice and friendly, she kindly explained the process on how to sell drop off items. One of the other cashiers was very rude and had a poor attitude. If you are looking for something specific and want to pay a cheaper price this is the place, but be aware the prices aren't always significantly cheaper than what you would buy in store or online. Also parking can be kind of tricky to find around the area, they will tow your car if you are not parked according to signs. read more

Mixed thoughts, but here's my review as a buyer only Pros: - very organized store - I found several new with tag items from Kate Quinn that would've cost a lot more online, even on sale. I would come back for higher end kids clothes shopping here. Pricing for these items was fair. - restrooms available Cons: - Sell back value seems to be low for consignment on clothing - they sell back "regular" kids brands like Old Navy and Carters at a price that seems more than what I would pay when browsing their sales rack. I'd skip these. Otherwise, I had a great experience! read more

Came in for the first time ever to donate some new and used baby clothes and was talking Spanish to my mom while we waited, guy in the Hawaiian shirt looked at us with all the bags of clothes and just ignored us then came back and said clothes closes at 6pm and walked away, very rude and unprofessional. Not even a hello or how can we help, nothing as we were looking around him and another lady decided to talk bad because we had came at 6pm accident not knowing donation time closed at that time since the store closes at 7pm, I decided to walk away and donate my clothes elsewhere. You can def tell he was being racist because of how he treated us once we spoke Spanish , because he clearly decided to talk smack in English right in front of us. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to be treated badly. read more

I took brand new toys unopened and still sealed to sell. I was told the appraisal would take anywhere from 2-5 days to appraise over a holiday weekend. I never received a call or an email. Turned out it was in my spam. The only way I found out was when I called to check on the status. They did not give me my cash nor did they give me my items back that I sent in. The store is a scam. I do not recommended this place. I'm sure I'm not the only who has accidentally had emails go to spam. Instead of calling they stay silent so they don't have to pay people out what they are owed and essentially steal your items. Do not sell or shop here!!!! read more
